I'm having so many issues with my playlists in this version. It's incredibly slow.

When I go to the section, it freezes for several minutes after I click on “Playlists.”

Then I see a scroll bar at the bottom, like water flowing from a faucet, with playlist squares, starting with the letter Z. (My playlists are named after the girls).

Then the playlists take up the full width, but appear one by one, one every second. It takes time to load the images from the folders. And this continues until the first playlist starting with the letter A.

It takes forever.

And it starts all over again every time I want to view a different playlist.

I should specify that the playlists in the data/playlist folder are named girl.vpl. Example: Naomi Nevana.vpl

And not the new entry collection1.vpl (I think)

Most of them were created in version 1 of the program.

I don’t know if that makes a difference?

The latest version that works correctly with my playlists is version 2.1.10.

Thankfully, we're dealing with the stable version here. I have a hard time understanding how people who use the other versions manage.

Play Clips in a Movie Like Sequence

If you Want to take the Deep Dive and Learn how the clips are Named
you Might be able to create a playlist of Similar clips that seemingly have a sequence to them.
Maybe....

So Buckle Up, get out your Note pad, take notes and pull out some hair.

The Current UI, now shows the List of Clips with a clip Number.
This Number does not represent anything other than it is just a reference number
It is NOT an Ordered List Meant to be Played in that Sequence.

iStripper Generation 1, used to display the clip name / clip codes.
In Version 2, this has been removed from the UI, and the Clip names / Clip codes are no longer seen.
But if you Really want some type of Ordered Playlist
Then you Need to know what these filenames are.

So Lets Dive In...

What's in a Name?
https://www.istripper.com/customdata/forum/2026-06-03/P6WbwwTl.png

To discover all of the clip names / clip codes
you can Browse to a cards Models folder where all the animation data file exist
There you will find the Preview clips ( .demo )
and the Full unlocked clips ( .vghd )

Now you can decode the clip names to discover what type of clip it is:

Look at Card e2170 for example with your File Explorer
https://www.istripper.com/customdata/forum/2026-06-03/EtcmMrOk.png

Here is the list of files.

e2170.vhdshows
e2170.vhdtrailers
e2170_2048202.vghd
e2170_2052402.vghd
e2170_32101.demo
e2170_32101.vghd

e2170_it04_6144101.demo
e2170_it05_38912301.vghd
e2170_it05_6144201.demo
e2170_it11_63488301.vghd
e2170_trailers.vhdp2p

The codes are Binary Bits added up together
I have a couple apps to help me decode them

https://www.istripper.com/customdata/forum/2026-06-03/M7vSS0cg.png

We can use these two charts to help manually decode the filenames.

Nudity Levels
1 - No nudity
2 - Topless
3 - Nude
4 - Full nudity
5 - Explicit XXX

Clip Type Codes
1 0000 0000 0000 0000 -- 65536 - glass
0 1000 0000 0000 0000 -- 32768 - starts nude
0 0100 0000 0000 0000 -- 16384 - spin at end
0 0010 0000 0000 0000 -- 8192 - spin at start
0 0001 0000 0000 0000 -- 4096 - linked at start
0 0000 1000 0000 0000 -- 2048 - linked at end
0 0000 0100 0000 0000 -- 1024 - top of screen / swing
0 0000 0010 0000 0000 -- 512 - cage
0 0000 0001 0000 0000 -- 256 - not used
0 0000 0000 1000 0000 -- 128 - not used
0 0000 0000 0100 0000 -- 64 - In/out (start at screen edge )
0 0000 0000 0010 0000 -- 32 - includes an accessory
0 0000 0000 0001 0000 -- 16 - holds a sign ( buy me )
0 0000 0000 0000 1000 -- 8 - filmed in full frame / Legs in View
0 0000 0000 0000 0100 -- 4 - pole
0 0000 0000 0000 0010 -- 2 - behind taskbar
0 0000 0000 0000 0001 -- 1- front of taskbar
0 0000 0000 0000 0000 -- 0 - standing

Decode a clip Name
Two different Methods

Try this one:
e2170_38921404.vghd

What type of clip is it?
Take of the last 3 digits 404.vghd and you are left with
e2170_38921
Take away the card number e2170_ and you are left with
38921
That is the Code that determines what type of clip it is.

1st way to discover what type of clip code 38921 is:

Find the Largest number from the chart above that you can Subtract from that Number
32768 - Starts nude
subtract it and Keep the remainder
38921 minus 32768 = 6153
Now Find again the Largest number you can subtract
4096 - Linked at Start
Subtract
6153 minus 4096 = 2057
Now Repeat Subtract the Largest number
2048 - linked at end
Subtract
2057 minus 2048 = 9
Repeat again the largest number
8 full frame
9 minus 8 = 1
1 Front of task bar
Nothing left to subtract..
The Clip code 38921 is a Front Taskbar, with full frame, can be linked at Start, can be linked at the end, and Starts Nude.

2nd Method to discover what type of clip code 38921 is:
Use a Programmers Calculator and convert the Decimal Code to Binary
38921 is binary 0 1001 1000 0000 1001
https://www.istripper.com/customdata/forum/2026-06-03/d7jRsm1W.png
Now use the chart and every place there is a 1 in the binary code what type of clip matches that?

binary results
0 1001 1000 0000 1001
0 1000 0000 0000 0000 -- 32768 - starts nude
0 0001 0000 0000 0000 -- 4096 - linked at start
0 0000 1000 0000 0000 -- 2048 - linked at end
0 0000 0000 0000 1000 -- 8 - filmed in full frame / Legs in View
0 0000 0000 0000 0001 -- 1- front of taskbar

Now What Nudity Level is it?
The 3rd Digit from the right is the nudity
e2170_38921404.vghd
Last 3 digits are
404.vghd
so 4 is the Nudity

What is the 04 of the 404?
This is always a 2 digit code and it is just a counter.
If there were Two Clips the same nudity Level, each one would have a Different counter.
e2170_38921404.vghd
e2170_38921405.vghd

What's in a Name?
https://www.istripper.com/customdata/forum/2026-06-03/P6WbwwTl.png

So to make a playlist with some possible sequence to them
Find the clips with a Similar clip type, then start at a lower nudity level, and play them in increasing nudity levels.
That is the Best you could do to make an Ordered Sequence of Clips.

Play Clips in a Movie Like Sequence

Everything about iStripper
1 day ago, 2 answers
Ahh, the Question that has been Asked since the Beginning of VirtuaGirl, Now iStripper.
I want to play the clips in Order like a Movie, just like they were filmed.

The Short Answer is:
There is NO ordered sequence to the clips that can be combined to Play them in a Movie like Sequence.

the longer answer:

The Cards are Not Produced with a Sequential set of Clips, so there really isn't any way to set a clip order up that will give you a Movie Like playback from fully dressed to fully nude and then to a climax.

**** Film the Sessions in the Green Studio ****
The Girls are given instructions to Dance and Strip, the Cameras roll.. CUT, that session is done.
Then the Girls start again, maybe this time she is already partially undressed.
Dance some more, the Camera rolls. CUT, session done.

So many sessions are recorded, but nothing in total sequence..

**** Edit into Clips ****
in the editing room, the Sessions are cut into sections, and edited per the levels...

**** make a Card ****
The best clips from all the sessions are put together to form the card.
So it Might be two clips from Session 1, three clips from session 2, one clips from session 3, 5 clips from session 4, etc...

If everything went perfect in the recording sessions, maybe all clips from that session are included, so sometimes there are clips, that can be strung together to simulate a complete strip tease..

**** Troubles ****
But maybe wile the camera is rolling, some extra instructions are given, the model my have paused to listen, or some other distraction in the middle..
So some sections are cut away and discarded..

**** the Software ****
Now the Software is designed to Play Clips at random.
That was and always has been Totems intent.
They do Not want it to be a Video player.
Initially, you couldn't have them Play continuously, Clip after clip. you had to have a Gap of some 15 seconds in between.

After years of Ideas, Totem has evolved the GUI, it now lets you select the level's of Nudity, How often a clip will play selected at random for the level settings, Progressive Hotness.. one Random clip starting at a low level and each random clip advancing up to the next level. 5 clips in a row, till there are no more advancing levels, then the balance just random clips.
Vip controls, a per card clip manager, a magnify tool, Slow Motion and Pause.

**** Order of the Shows ****
But since they are not produced in a continuous stream from Start to Finish.
you will not be able to Play One Card like a Strip movie...
That is Not what Totem set out to produce

**** Playlist Yeah ****
Now you can Create and Save your own ordered list of cards and clips
and play them how you want.
The Power of the Playlists

But Still,
There is No Ordered Play Sequence that lets you See a "Complete Show" in the order it was filmed.

NEW VERSION: 2.3 - Major performance improvements and Overlay Store!

Everything about iStripper

Who need overlays? Very helpful would a button "cliplist edit" in the collection. I have 6000+ cards, As example: 28 cards with Rebecca Volpetti. I want play today standing and pole clips. I must card for card editing the cliplist, and tomorrow i want taskbar clips. Again the same game, card for card standing and pole deselect and taskbar clips on. Meantime the count by 56 cards, and the third and fourth option all clips or only swing again select and deselect taskbar on and off for next cliptype. This button should that for all cards in collection do, anytime. And all the other cards ... hours of work for this. Note: i build my list for the queue, click play and the program crashes, under Windows 10. Funny! So much for "stable".

@0bsessed
Completely agree! I have 1240+ shows in my collection, and facing this manual playlist routine for each of them is a total nightmare and complete madness. It requires hours of useless work. All I want — and probably not just me — is a simple, basic button: 'Play in Strict Order' directly in the app, so the clips play naturally from start to finish as they were filmed, instead of this chaotic, bugged shuffling with repeating clips. And it's completely unclear to me why the Random button even exists, if the clips play randomly when 'Progressive hotness' is turned off. It would be nice to add a button to play all clips by file number, for example. Those who need it will turn on chronological playback, while those who don't will watch the clips the way they are meant to be played according to Totem's logic, and everyone will be happy. Also, relying on local playlists is a huge risk — if something goes wrong, the drive crashes, or files get deleted somehow, all your hard work is gone instantly. Developers need to fix this core player functionality instead of just pushing overlays.
