Yeh, the SEC's just seem to be nothing more than a way of price gouging. I saw one person ***** that they had used up over 1000 credits to get a SEC and they didn't get it, There have been plenty of others that spend hundreds to get the card. When it was restricted to events like the the calendar it was fine but making them part of gambling games is just wrong. But until they have ***** all their best customers it will stay i guess...

Of course, most unknowns won't want to strip on the net, but a proportion will and that number depends on economics and their alternative sources of income.

I think Totem finds it difficult to determine in advance who will do a good job. We know they ask for vids from unknowns and we know they've passed on some pornstars doing European tours - because surely the girls' agents will have contacted them. Maybe they were asking for too much money. But equally, we don't know how difficult it is to recruit unknowns, or how selective Totem is.

From the performers' point of view, maybe they sometimes need the money, but also they need the exposure, whether they are unknown or established pornstars. Whether they supplement their modelling with clubs, cams or escorting, a good iStripper performance must be useful.

So I suspect that Totem offers a pretty fixed fee for Take-1s and adjusts their profile in the market so that they get a regular flow of decent applicants (in their view). They'll modify their approach, if the proportion of pornstars/unknowns changes, for example if they fail to book any pornstars for a few months. They'll do the same if quality and hence sales drop off. Maybe they'll stretch a bit for a performer at the top of her career like Jia Lissa, but not enough to attract the likes of Kendra Sutherland.

So show quality will vary over time, depending on many things. Totem will almost certainly ignore the rumblings of the tiny minority of customers who participate in the Forum.

Fair analysis. I do think, though, that our rumblings do not go completely unheard and can be taken as some kind of an auxiliary tool when creating their policies, though.

Personally, I'm not sure about the benefits of hiring most famous pornstars here.

The fact that they are "the most famous porn stars" typically means that they already enjoy a LOT of exposure in your "standard" porn sites. And I would think that the reason they have gained that popularity is that they have done lots of scenes and action (in those standard porn sites) that they wouldn't be doing here. "The most famous porn stars" haven't become most famous for their dancing skills or solo performances, and their fan base probably look for different things.

Attaching a very famous name with the brand iStripper could be beneficial here, but only when it shows as web search hits for iStripper due to that connection (= people learn about this place through that connection).

Maybe the most famous adult stars that have gained their popularity not from straight porn, could be the best representatives of this product to potential clientele(?)

Popping in my two-pennorth (old English expression), if there is a good reason for trying to get some American models it is to inject some fresh DNA into the Totem model gene pool.

Reading all the posts above, I looked back at the cards thst have been released recently (and those in the pipeline as per the Workshop) and I am struck by the similarity of the girls - the proportion who have similar slim body shapes with long dark (brunette or black) hair. The only real stand out is Eva Elfie - and her upcoming show will be the 14th! I am getting bored with the girls we are seeing.

What has happened to the blondes? Are they dying out in Eastern Europe? I can't post pictures here from non-iStripper but go and look at models like Kennedy Leigh from America - blonde (often short cut) hair, fabulous boobs and can give one heck of a BJ. So, if girls like Kennedy (and Skye Blue with the blonde cut) are only available from America, we need them.

Some time ago this promotion had a bug. You didn't have to restart iStripper. You could simply refresh the page and a new set of cards was drawn, but, if you bought a set, the wrong cards were added to your collection.

Information about the drawn cards is stored on the server. Deleting any files will not change the drawn set.

Is there a way to change the 3 pre-selected cards?

I remember a few years ago, by adding or removing cards from your wishlist, then restarting the program, you would have a new set of cards. Doesn't seem to work anymore.

Is there another way? By manually deleting a file in the Data folder for example.

Pornstars know that Totem needs them, they have full agenda's and are in a stronger negotiation position. They can and will ask more, but no idea about how much more. Extra costs of famous names are evened out with new unknow models like Liana, Kristi, Eva Ginger. Totem/iStripper has a perfect nose for new (relatively unknown) talents like Jenny Wild and Sherice in the beginning of their career.

I tend to not agree. Team should search for beautiful and skilled models. I personally don't care at all if they are famous in the porn star system or not, it's quite the same for me.

Just click on picture 1 and use the left symbol under the picture to download it, and there you go. That´s all it is. Just a picture. It does not give you any advantages, nobody can even see this except yourself. All you can do with the badges is print them and make some scrambled eggs on it. On Steam, the Gaming Platform, you can see how many kids are chasing for the same kind of Badges and Achievements. They spend lots of money to get them. I always thought this are only kids who spend their pocket money, to impress their friends or making stands. But to see the same bullshit is working on an adult platform as well, makes me laugh a little bit. I really cannot believe it.

I actually usually like the scratchers but after 185 cards, and not getting a single SEC, kinda thinking it's not worth doing it in the future.

I have just uploaded version 3.03d of the Playlist Generator. I've fixed 3 programming error all relating to clip filters and tags. I've also added a new tag "Tran all types" which should make it easier to exclude transition clips. I also changed the clip hotness count logic. Transition clips are no longer counted.

I agree @HansSachs - while I am qt home self-isolating I have been working my way through my unwatched cards and I have been posting what I hope are useful reviews.In doing so, I am seeing more and more so called reviews that are simply one word - and as reviews they are neither use nor ornament. If people can do this simply to win a badge it cheapens the achievement and makes it harder for people to be able to assess if a card has what they want before they buy.

What is surprising is that more review systems don't put more criteria to what you see.

Example anyone could write a review but as a purchaser I should be able to filter to only see reviews of owners, people who watched for 10hrs, ect.

I could also rate the reviewer and the ones I agree with show up and the ones I disagree don't show up in my rating.

I'm one of those people who have adverse reactions to substances others find recreational.
*****gives me a sickening dizzy headache.
***** makes every muscle cell feel ill to the point of wanting to throw up.
Thankfully, ***** does relax muscles but the cheap stuff can give me a bad hangover so I'm not in danger of being an alcoholic because my body punishes me if I overdo it.
I prefer good bourbon or a nice single malt scotch.

I think we have to be patient and let Celine and the team sort it out. They are working in difficult circumstances with working from home and they have a buggy beta version 1.2.248 to fix plus the faults as mentioned by @HansSachs.

So - we don't know their internal priorities but I'm willing to cut them some slack if they can at least keep us informed.

They likely stopped to promote urgency when they do release a pack.

I will say I think like someone else said the only reason to get scratch cards is if you are new like I am or if you want the SEC.

Its not a great deal but its okay for people with zero discounts on their profile. That deal is outweighted by getting random cards.

I think possibly a better option would be a hidden booster pack with a theme in which a SEC could be randomly won. Possibly it could be that if you get a duplicate card it refunds you that portion of the booster as well.

You could just "scratch" to reveal each of the cards instead? Or possibly have it where you purchsae between 1-10 cards and there are 12 of them on the page and you the cards are numbered 1-12 you getting from 1 up to the number you purchased?

Lots of ways to possibly remove some of the complete randomness, keep some of the profit that they want, and get more out of it in the end for normal people.
