First of all your default File manager in Mint is Nemo,

In Mint Mate, the default File Manager is Caja. In Cinnamon it is Nemo. I don't suppose it makes any difference. I avoid breadcrumb navigation most of the time.

On the Desktop point: How else can I run the program? Are you suggesting I run the models and backgrounds on a media player?

Not only did you get rid of any promotions like "Buy 4 cards and get the 4th one refunded" or "All X type shows are 25% off but you also turned every single "Sale" into a heckin lottery or slot machine BS. And since this site turned into a digital casino a few years ago the so called sales certainly make up for any additional costs. I'm not gonna recommend any gambling inducing software to any of my friends / onlie friends hell nah. And I'm tired of this lame "stuff is getting more expensive" excuse.

Why not try to implement some user requests for once. One really old request I've read so many times over the years is trading / giftiing cards. Maybe with a small transaction fee of 1 or 2 credits per card so users still need to buy stuff occasionally.

If you want the SEC anytime before the September 1st deadline then you have to patricipate in one (or more if you want) events available until then and fill the progress bar to obtain the SEC. Once the progress bar is filled you will get the SEC. You can do it from a single event or multiple events. Progress is saved from one event to the next.

After September 1st (last day of the current series of events) the SEC will appear in the store as a SEC and can be purchased then (or any time later) using a Joker if you wish.

As you point out you could also participate in other events (after 1st September) and possibly win the card (unless there are other SECs you don't have in which case the SEC you win will be a random one you don't own).

@Socialhazard Ok I could live with that too if that becomes the way they do it. However that still renders the joker useless after the event and you would have to wait for a future one that would allow you to randomly win a previously unobtained SEC. So if that is the new idea when exactly would you be able to use the joker? The last week of the event? The very last day? I don't mind occasionally playing the games to try to earn a joker or maybe some free credits but I have no additional cards to win and I have a few jokers stashed already that hopefully aren't becoming useless. @pickle1 The Sky Pierce show that I mentioned from the previous event was available as soon as I filled the progress bar and I was able to download it so I don't believe that's the case.

You can leave iStripper open for this Task now.

Create yourself a new Directory inside your Home Directory, and you can give any Name you want,
but for the Fact that Linux is Case sensitive! for Files and Folder names, we will choose

"is_data"

without the Quotes, all small letters and with an underscore instead of a blank character.

So the new Location for your Shows is now,

/home/howard/is_data/

please double check that in your Address bar in Nemo after you have created that Directory.

Now open two Windows of Nemo or you can also open a new Tab in it,
to see the following two Locations at the same time.

/home/howard/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/vghd/drive_c/users/howard/Local Settings/Application Data/vghd/models/

and

/home/howard/is_data/

Copy and paste! now all the Folders form your /vghd/models/ Location to your new created Folder "is_data"
in your Home Directory.
Once that is done, you can delete all the Folders within,

/home/howard/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/vghd/drive_c/users/howard/Local Settings/Application Data/vghd/models/

but do not delete the "models" Directory itself.

Now go back to iStripper -> Settings and scroll down to the Data Section again,
to click on "Change Directory" once more.

Click on that Trash Can Icon to delete your current Path, and click on the Apply Button to confirm your action.
After that iStripper will immediately restart, be aware this might take a while depending on your CPU speed.
So no matter how long it takes, you just have to be patient for that process.
Once iStripper is up and running again, go again to the Settings -> Data, to select now your new Location.

Click again on "Change Directory" and "Add new Folder" and now a new Window should open,
generated from PlayOnLinux.

Single click on that Disk icon on the left, and you should see your home Directory
between "etc" and "lib" on the right.

Double click on that and you should see your Username "howard", double click on that too.

Now you should see your Folder "is_data" Double click (that is important) and you should see now
an empty space on the right side in that Window.

If that is the case, click on the "Open Button" down right in that Window, and once that Window is closed,
click on the Apply Button in iStripper to confirm your action.

I hope this Screenshot will help you to identify all that.

Once iStriper has closed and is up and running again, go to your Collection and all your Shows should be
"greyed out" again, if that is the case all was working so far.

Now go to Settings again and hit now the Button "Rebuild Collection" and your iStripper Logo in your
Taskbar will turn into a spinning circle.

This shouldn't take too long, but you have to wait until you can see the iStripper Logo again, and your PC
will become unusable during that process, as always patience is the key.
Once that is done, go to My Collection and you should see now your two downloaded Shows.

Like mentioned before and if you are unsure for all that, you can leave your Shows in the default "models"
Folder, but i can't tell you if you will loose Access to your Collection, in case something goes wrong
on the Totem Servers again.

First of all your default File manager in Mint is Nemo, and you have to make sure to configure your
Address bar, to make the full File Path visible, instead of using the Breadcrumb Navigation.

As next, please do not change anything any more within your Wine Configuration Window,
underneath the Drives Tab, this looks all fine for now.

Next, here is how to find the Location to your Animation Files,
and you can do this while iStripper is running, it doesn't matter for this Task.

Bring up the POL Window, highlight again with your Mouse the iStripper Logo,
but it might be already highlighted.

Now pay attention to the left side in that Window, and you should see several options
including "Open a directory" with a Folder icon left next to it, please click on that.

Nemo should open now a new Window and should take you to this Location here,

/home/howard/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/vghd/drive_c/users/howard/Local Settings/Application Data/vghd/bin/

and you are now in the "bin" Folder of your iStripper installation.

Click now in your Address bar in Nemo and delete the last "/" and "bin" in it, and press Enter.
Now you are in your "vghd" Folder

/home/howard/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/vghd/drive_c/users/howard/Local Settings/Application Data/vghd/

and you should see only three Folders which are "bin" "data" and "models".

According to your second Screenshot your Animation Files are stored in "models" and will be always
downloaded to this Location.

Also and from what i can see on your second Screenshot too, you have plenty of space on that Disk (4 TB)
and it seems you don't have a separate Root partition on your Mint installation,
but there is no need, at least for now! to investigate this further.

You can leave everything like it is, but there was a big Server Failure from Totem in late 2018 or early 2019
(not sure any more it's been a while) and everyone lost the Access to their Collections, including myself
while i had all my Animation Files stored in there as well.

After everything got fixed from the Team i moved my Collection to another Location on my Disk,
and since that i never ever lost the Access to my Collection any more independent from any Server
issues on the side of Totem.

I will leave it up to you, but in any case here is how to do it on your own machine.

I do not know how to find the path to the Animation Files on my machine.

Not a problem, the information from your Screenshots is good enough for me
to prepare something, as always i will keep you posted.

In the meantime,

One of them runs in an unmoveable screen in the bottom right quarter of the screen.

and like mentioned before, the Desktop mode is not a recommendation to watch your Shows,
even if you have switched to GPU rendering.

And to exit the Full Screen mode just simply click your left Mouse Button,

and you can add to @Wyldanimal 's reasons the increased costs in employing Totem's own staff that are administering that distribution. All such expenses have an effect on the distribution cost. Digital distribution is far from free and ***** from inflation just like everything else in this world.

As you know, everything is getting more expensive, including production and distribution costs. That's why we need to adjust the price of the cards to maintain the exceptional quality of our shows.

Update: the latest version 1.2.524 unfortunately gives me back both "old"

You seem to think that peple should be rewarded for buying things that they like.

In practice the various "rewards" offererd by businesses to their customers are there to encourage people to spend more, not a way to give them more or reduce what they have to pay - why should Totem be expected to behave differently ?

As a triple diamond and premium member you are already benefiting from the maximum reward/encouragement mechanisms much more than those at lower levels of membership but, as is commonly the case, those that have most insist that they "deserve" even more.

Some people should come to Hungary and experience how to live with the 30-40% food inflation, or better to Turkey and experience the 80% or Venezuela and try the 2-300% etc. Nobody is ***** you to buy all cards or any. If you buy 1-2 cards less per month than you used to, you will spend the same. End of the story. I wonder if anyone would do the same in a supermarket. (This refers to some very bad and unneccessary complaints of above.)

I've watched this product evolve for 13 years.

Case in point, the most recent app upgrade, while a bit of a shock at first, I can see small improvements here and there along with incorporation of new products. Some of the UI changes were unfortunate, but I'm an old codger. 😘

I went full in a long time ago for one reason, it's far cheaper than a single, wild night at a strip club, and you can visit any time you want, paying for more variety or simply just use what you already have. Better because the girls never get old on screen although I am almost certain that some of my oldest cards have models that have likely lost all semblence of youth, had a kid or two, and are living far different, hopefully high quality, lives. I don't know about the rest of the world, but the cost of one card here is far cheaper than a single "friction" dance at a strip club. 😉

They have likely been doing what they can to keep the cost per card level as low as possible. One example I can see from here (other side of the northern hemisphere), is the auctioning online of unique costumes worn once, or costumes that have seen some wear and were worn by more popular models. A lot of fund-raising potential every time.

Costume quality is significantly better now than it has ever been. You can see it directly if you own some of the oldest cards.

Production levels and video quality exceeds anything they did before. They appear to be keeping up with technology, that alone is expensive.

They are producing VR stuff too, on top of the NFT stuff. If I am thinking correctly, I think they also have a VR game out there, and yes, it's a strip club. 😲 I own a copy on Steam. I can't use it now, but I own it. 😉

I remember the iDancer project, and still own a copy. It was pretty cool but there was likely no way they could adapt it to the product they are producing now, despite the hopes that something more could evolve out of it. I think they had about 5 or 6 different dancers with unique styles that "danced" to some limited degree to the rhythm of any music you play on your music apps. It took a minute or two for the algorithms to figure it out and the music had to be consistent. I think I last toyed with it about 6 months ago before my PC died. No stripping, just interesting club style dancing from that time period. I think it was a usable app for DJ's at the time, if they used video displays along with audio. Yes, I had to pay extra for it, and I doubt they are even supporting it now. Just a case of how they are always looking at improvement.

Si ton répertoire Models n'est pas sur le chemin par défaut (c:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\vghd\Models), vérifie dans les réglages du logiciel et corrige-le avec le bon chemin.
Cela se produit souvent quand on utilise un disque externe relié par USB, Windows a tendance à changer la lettre de lecteur automatiquement parfois.

Use the ON/OFF switch at the top right corner of the GUI's window.

The same control is available as an Enable/Disable toggle via a right click on the iStripper icon in your Systray. You can configure that in the app's settings to be the action that is performed when you left click on systray icon.

@ColaAluka - if you are a fan of decent (or even half-decent) pole dancing , it is best to use the "pole-dancing skills" tag as we try to ensure this is only allocated to shows that merit it.If a show does not have the tag but has pole clips, the likelihood is that the model simply walks around the pole and holds onto it to stop herself falling off her platform shoes 😊😊😊As for seeing a list of clips prior to purchase, though this is not available in the app it is available if you go to the IS Workshop (www.isworkshop.eu).

The sync button on left doesn't do anything. When I click the rebuild button I get this.

Open the POL Software, and leave iStripper closed.

Highlight with a single click the istripper Logo in it.

Then click on configure in the top right (that big Cogwheel Button).

A new Window will open, in there switch to the Tab Wine.

Click on the Configure Wine Button, the first option left next to the Reg editor.

In that new Window, switch to the Tab Disks or Drives (not sure how it's translated in English).
Then show me a Screenshot from that particular Window with the Disks Tab selected.

Then close both single Windows again, start iStripper and go to Settings,
scroll down to Data, ckick on "Change Directory" and make a Screenshot from this Window.

As last tell me the Path on your physical Disk (within your Mint Machine) to all your
Animation Files (iStripper Shows).

I can get the software running in Linux Mint - sort of - inconsistently.

I managed to download two of my collection. One of them runs in an unmoveable screen in the bottom right quarter of the screen. I can make this full screen but then I cannot go back! The other young lady does not run - instead a different one pops up.

The '*****' hot key does not work.

All in all, the program runs well on my old W10 machine. But this means I must power it up specially which is a bit of a hassle.
It would have been nice to have iStripper available on my everyday Linux PC.

I always knew one day it would happen 😄, it is not too unfair as well, as we all know the costs are increasing for everything, but on the other hand not everyone is in a better position to spend a lot, because of the disparity between costs hike and common man's earning worldwide. I really feel about it, we are all on the same boat.
I love this site and want them to continue so that we can enjoy future shows, but that has to come with a cost we all know.
My one request is, please increase the possibilites of winning SECs in more creative and newer ways. The people who have invested and/or tenured should be getting more chances of winning SECs, not sure if its a fair ask, let them be pleasently surprised with some SEC gifts for some spending.. Maybe two consecutive 500 topups in a day will reward an SEC or a Joker card. OR a Premium user gets some SEC privilege etc.. See these things are not going to ***** the business because you can always add more SECs in future for people to crave for.

I don't exactly know how you would want to device newer strategies but please look into this if possible.

Yes, I wish that everyone had more Money, or Enough Money
that they did not have to balance Food on the Table or their hobby.

And I get that some members have far less Money to spend on iStripper than others.
So this Increase affects them the most.

Audio is only a normal feature on sexually explicit table clips on XXX shows - though it can sometimes be found on other table clips on XXX shows.

But there is no audio on non XXX shows.

To cut a long story short, I can get into iStripper reliably in Linux Mint, but I cannot rebuild my collection.
None of my 49 shows are active.

I know about Settings and the 'advanced' tick box.

The sync button on left doesn't do anything. When I click the rebuild button I get this.

Anyone else has missing audio on some of the shows on some cards I hame many of my cards that do not have audio on many shows. How can this be fixed ?

It does look like the difference is that the SEC can only be retrieved at the end of the event - and this time that could be 5 weeks.

Does the same apply if you complete the progress bar prior to that?

I don't think it's a glitch but you should be able to use a joker to get the card after the event.

I have learned to live with the process over the years it is what it is. What I am starting to get annoyed of is that during the latest event starting today there is no option to use a joker card to get the new SEC. This is the second time that this is happening the previous time was for the Sky Pierce show from I believe the pleasure chest game from a couple months ago. Are we now slowly phasing out jokers too? Or making them selective? If it's a glitch forgive me but if it isn't than taking those out of the equation will become frustrating.

It would be fantastic to see her again but not just to have her sitting on her ass on the taskbar doing repetitive xxx for 4 or 5 half hour shows.

Most anger is associated with not being able or willing to access all the content because of price walls. This makes people feel poor and inferior to others who are able or willing to spend hundreds and thousands on istripper perks. This by nature pisses people off. It takes humility and thoughtfulness to understand that totem is creating tiers for all kinds of customers and figuring out as we speak how to leverage the wealthiest. This new decision is one of the few that ***** the main buyers, especially new customers...most of the time us "poors" just have to deal with not getting a special event card, or a dolz set, now we see our prices rise, which is a big deal for people who do not have a lot of disposable income and are not gamblers by nature. I imagine totem can't survive long term without new customers and maintaining the hundreds or thousands of selectors that pick and choose, but in this new age of people spending 500-1000 for a dolz card, who the hell knows. Maybe seeing the wild spending on dolz pushed them to not worry as much about new or lower level customers. A risky game it seems.

It is also really bad optics to announce week after week thousands of dollars spent on dolz cards, and a new VR project just as they raise prices on istripper. I think the idea that istripper would be supported by dolz and would be maintained at the same price point kept people from boiling over.

So.. Now with 2728 cards and Triple Diamond, I have 45% discount from 25 credits which means 13,75 credits.
At 3000 cards and Master Diamond, I will have 50% discount from 30 credits, which means 15 credits.
I have to level up to pay more than I paid before and this is a big favor???

It is LONG overdue. iStripper has NOT increased it's prices in many years...

NO ONE will see a Decrease.

But the Additional Level with the extra 5% discount, will reduce the Increase seen by Members at this Level.

In My previous Post, I showed an example of a Member with a Full collection and Premium Subscription.

If this Member gets every card in a Year ( 365 cards )
The Increase for the Full Year is $27
An Increase from $302 to $329 for the Full year of cards.
