err, what? i've never had a problem swapping out an image for a shader. Did you set up a framebuffer for that shader eg;-

You bought the right to play a card just as if you had bought it via the app or the normal web site, While the mobile site was in beta test you had the ability (not the right) to also stream the card. It is the streaming service that is now seperately payed for.

I do agree with you all that the change came as a bit of a shock, especially the price, But it was quite consistent with what Totem has said about the mobile site.

Whether the change, and again especially the price, was a wise decision is a different thing - one about which i am expressing no opinion.

I don't think many people will leave due to this since there is no alternative to iStripper, that I know of. Should there be though, I'm pretty sure this move would have been a shot in the foot. I'm not an avid user of the mobile feature, but I liked the option to every now and then use it; this "decision" to change the "economic model" is strictly a way to get us to fork over more money. Many users are mainly mobile users and have been strictly using buying "mobile" cards, and now they have to pay more for content they already bought? I would be beyond livid.
If this decision had been made taking into account, even slightly, the consumers thoughts, they could at least offer to refund the "mobile cards" for credits to be used to but the damned "subscription".
At the end of the day, iStripper is just a company trying to make a profit, not an NGO for consumer rights. But like any business, I'd be wary of decisions/moves that antagonise big chunks of their clientele. Because, also, at the end of the day they are lucky for not having any real competition on this market... Yet?

Customers are the centerpiece of any successful business, seems to me this decision will cost Totem more revenue from both platforms by driving away existing customers than it will possibly bring in from remaining customers. Popular streaming platforms are looking for ways to lower subsciption fees to keep already existing customers from leaving with the current world economic situation rather than putting already subscribed content behind further paywalls. If you ask me, I don't think this new mobile model will last in today's economy.

If the free version was indeed introduced as a beta test for a trial period then nothing has been voided - you were given a "free trial period" in exchange for acting as a tester of the program - something that seems to be quite a common practice. That you, and I, had forgotten that it was a beta test doesn't change things - only how we feel about them.

Now, I do think the price for the streaming service is high - but as I am not interrested in it even as a free service any price would be too high for me.

To me it is simple: I bought the card on mobile. To use on mobile and desktop. Beta does not void the purchased good in my view. I have seldomly seen anyone *buying* “beta” software or goods who does not get the final product.

But be it as it may. I will act according to my disappointment as a customer.

I have bought nearly 600 shows alltogether and I strongly consider to not add any more credits. If they can take away "bought" shows on mobile they can do so on desktop if the test is successful. No. Simply no.

Normally I refrain from subscription software except maybe for antivirus when the Microsoft product was insufficient. I stuck to Office for a long time. I only subscribed to Microsoft 365 because 6 TB of storage for a bargain.

There could have been another way:

You can no longer buy new shows for mobile, you can only buy them for desktop. But all already purchased shows are available for desktop and mobile if they where mobile then.

I am still a DynDNS member for no additional costs because I charited a one time fee 20 years ago when they were still non-commercial. I still own office programs I bought years ago. My purchased music is still my music. The car sharing I use gave me a special discount because I entered when they were cheaper.

Makes a good point. Totem needs to address the reality that they apparently have no problem removing services that were previously offered and locking them behind additional paywalls. They could remove 3k service and require premium membership to download 4k, they could require sub to use the software at all. Why not just allow people to play bought cards on mobile and allow others to play all cards with sub? Seems like a poorly thoughtout plan, hopefully not a reaction to money lost because of NFT.

@Calgon - EverthangForever is correct. In some things the coordinate system has its origin in the top left corner and for others the origin is in the bottom left corner - so in some places Y increases as you go upwards and in others as you go downwards.

This can be a bit annoying but you can usually quite easily get the orientation you want either by a using a hotspot: clause to change the origin of the local coordinates or a pos: clause to shift things by the height of the "thing" and then using a negative scale factor for Y to perform an inversion. Basically you need to map Y => H - Y where H is height of the item.


Where 3d coordinates make sense you can use a rotation by 180 degrees about the Y axis.

I figured out why I wasn't getting to the same number as you.

You had 10 cards coming up (e1779-e1784-e1785-e1789-e1790-e1793-e1796-e1798-e1799-e1806) in your count. So I couldn't get them, and you didn't include the F9998 card from Kitties the cat.

So I have 1269 cards, from which I subtract Kitties the cat's card, which makes a total of 1268 cards.

If I add the 17 SEC cards not acquired that makes a total of 1285 cards.

If I add the 10 cards to come that makes 1295 cards in 4K.

The count is good for me. The Comte is good. (sorry easy joke) 😊

J'ai trouvé pourquoi je n'arrivais pas au même chiffre que vous.

Vous aviez 10 cartes à venir (e1779-e1784-e1785-e1789-e1790-e1793-e1796-e1798-e1799-e1806) dans votre décompte. Donc je ne pouvais pas les avoir, et vous n'aviez pas incluse la carte F9998 de Kitties le chat.

Donc J'ai 1269 cartes, dont Je soustrait celle de Kitties le chat ce qui fait un total de 1268 cartes.

Si j'ajoute les 17 cartes SEC non acquises cela fait une somme de 1285 cartes.

Si j'ajoute les 10 cartes à venir cela fait 1295 cartes en 4K.

Le compte est bon pour moi. Le Comte est bon. (désolé blague facile) 😊

A shader running on another shader will invert its texture2D. I think what you are seeing was an oversight
when Totem initially incorporated the OpenGL platform into their player. A bit like the left-right reversal of clipsprites from their original films.
Rather than fix it, they left it as it is. ...If you want to correct the upside down, just refer the initial shader
output which is using the sprite, subsequently into a framebuffer using Emu's Null shader. You can find a
a spare copy of TheEmu - Null.fsh as an entry in the ET Scenes/Shaders folder or on @TheEmu 's website
as TheEmuLib.Emu_Null.fsh

I'd been trying to use a shader as the background for @Z22 SexualPredetor but couldn't get it to work. I see the ET has done that in FG738. When I change the background shader for a different one I found it comes out upside down. Does anyone know why this might be ?

What almost everyone (including myself) seems to have forgotten is that until now the mobile streaming site was a beta test version, which is why it was free. I can't find the original announcement and, as was never interrested in it anyway, I don't know whether that was mentioned on the site itself but a web search finds several articles refering to as a beta version,

I have been following her for a while on instagram even before her debut in Itsripper. But, When her first card got released, It had had some underwhelming reviews and ratings. So, I thought I'll give it some time for her to get get her best card yet. So far all her cards have been very low rated, Barely even getting close to 4 !! And in some of these few cards that came out later there have been 1 or 2 comments from users ***** why her cards were getting such low ratings and they thought it was good and were demanding proper reasons for the low ratings rather than just one line reviews !! This is a terrible business model. I pay for Gamepass so i can play a game on either my PC or the Xbox. This sets your customer base to use one platform or the other. It is poor practice to double dip in a current global economic downturn...Shame. I guess I will be deleting the mobile platform now.

Came here to say the same thing. Having to pay extra money to see cards that I've already paid for is just plain wrong. My guess is they will ignore these complaints though. Look how long it took them to add a simple notification that cards are all desktop clips.

Une lecture au second degré aurait été la bien venue, c'était une forme d'humour qui essayait de circuler à contre-courant, de renverser la vapeur et réchauffer ainsi toute cette négativité mal à propos.

C'est justement une dérive du terme "offre" qui pose débat ici pour les non-initiés aux règles du commerce, iStripper "vend" des services...

J'ai désinstallé dernièrement iStripper pour des raisons de gain de place virtuel, tellement bien que je n'arrive plus à le réinstaller. Je ne sais ni où, ni comment retrouver le programmer. sur le site je suis encore en possession de mes 3000+ modèles mais je ne peux plus me servir de mon compte.
Merci d'avance! Et s'il vous plaît, ne m'expliquez-pas que c'est tout simple, je ne vous croirai pas...

Perso je n'utilise pas la version mobile afin de préserver la batterie et aussi pour ne pas passer tout mon temps devant des animations de danseuses.

Pareil : comme l'a dit quelqu'un d'autre au-dessus, la plupart du temps, iStripper tourne pendant que je fais autre chose, et j'y jette un coup d'oeil de temps en temps. Sur téléphone, ce ne serait pas la même utilisation, et ça ne m'intéresse pas trop.

Regardez autour de vous: il y a de moins en moins de services gratuits même les réseaux sociaux risquent d'y passer.

Je croise les doigts pour qu'il en soit effectivement ainsi : ce serait une bénédiction pour nos sociétés, de plus en plus abruties par les réseaux sociaux.

Mobile Sub. is a good feature for all new member. ~3 mobile shows /week. 12 / month.
But a punch in ya face for all old member wo already have 50-100% of the mobile/desktop shows.

As for the store, the only cards out are the 17 SEC cards I don't have that I added above in my total of 1285 cards in 4K.

The other cards in the store are not counted, as they are not out.

So I'm 10 cards short with you, for cards in 4K. (1268 +17 SEC that I don't have = 1285 rather than 1295 for you)

There is one card that could explain the result of your code, which shows 1267 cards, rather than the 1268 cards I have in my collection. That would be the KItties cat card, which may not have been included in your code.

If so I am 11 4K cards short with you.

I went back and looked at the last 3K cards released, to see if any of them didn't have 4K, but I don't see any. They are all 3K at full resolution.

Les autres cartes dans le magasin ne sont pas comptabilisées, étant des cartes non sorties.

Je suis donc en déficit de 10 cartes avec vous, pour les cartes en 4K. (1268 +17 SEC que je ne possède pas = 1285 plutôt que 1295 pour vous)

Il y a une carte qui pourait expliquer le résultat de votre code, qui fait apparaître 1267 cartes, plutôt que les 1268 cartes que je possède dans ma collection. Ce serait la carte du chat KItties qui n'a peut-être pas été incluse dans votre code.

Si c'est le cas je suis en déficit de 11 cartes 4K avec vous.

Je suis retourné voir les dernières cartes en 3K sorties, pour voir si certaines n'avaient pas le 4K, mais je n'en vois aucune. Elles sont toutes en 3K en résolution maximale.

In case you are not aware, the cards purchased on the old mobile site are not lost.
All of the cards that have been purchased are still available on the Desktop app.

Many mobile users have no desktop computer, so for them those cards they've already bought can be considered as stollen because they can't continue playing them freely unless they keep paying a subcription. It is in direct contradiction with Totem's policy about the client being the owner of his/her cards and being able to play them at will.
