When I started working as a system administrator and supervisor in 1999, each my colleagues had access to two servers. There was an Exchange server and a data server. Only a few ones had access to a special database server. Then a proxy server for internet searches was added.
When I became a pensioner many of my former colleagues had access to several data servers on several locations, an Exchange server and all the proxies available at my employer.
Also data were made available via the state data network as well as data from other offices and state enterprises were used.
It's time to come clean (German: Reinen Wein einschenken).

I didn't foresee this development in 1999 and 2000 either. They already tried to limit the number of servers by placing them at headquarters if possible. But then came problems with the transmission speed and reliability, especially at smaller locations. And I am convinced that not much has changed yet. It's like fighting against windmills.

Discord was having a high rate of SPAM bots attacking server.
Seems Our Server went in to t a Self Protect Anti-RAID Mode.

I tried everything in the post (not saying i did it right :) and all i got was the greyed out posts in Discord. My discord name is Cheddarcheese if anyone has any thoughts that could help out. thanks in advance

Unless you know their exact NAME#nnnn

when you log on to discord
at the bottom Left you see your own name
and below you name are the # sign and 4 digits number

if you Click on your own name, it says Copied..
that copies your FULLNAME#nnnn to the clipboard.

I cannot get access to any of the postings in Discord. I got the Captcha bot a couple times, but it always says that it fails to connect. This is extremely frustrating. Seems there shuld be an easier way to get access.
