I'm baffled about the number of negative comments about this promotion. It's a promotion, be glad. Most of the times these discussions are about cents and dimes, really I don't get it. A card on it's own is hardly more expensive than a dollar and a half, what are we talking about?

Moi de même, je suis consterné par ce manque de lucidité et cet aspect négatif récurrent chez certains. Leur donner les cartes ne suffirait même plus il faudrait bientôt aussi leur donner de l'argent avec.

De quelles vidéos parles-tu ?
Si ce sont les vidéos bonus : elles sont enregistrées dans ton dossier Téléchargement si tu les télécharges et tu peux les regarder avec VLC.
Si ce sont les shows : ils sont enregistrés dans le répertoire Models de l'application et il faut utiliser le logiciel pour les regarder. Les fichiers sont cryptés et ne sont pas visibles avec un lecteur vidéo standard type VLC.
Je te conseille de lire l'aide intégrée du logiciel en cliquant sur le "i" cerclé en haut à droite de l'interface.

I would also emphasise the word "purchase".

Once you have done that, and only then, do you get the refund. You do not get any card without paying for it so there is no free card - what you get are credits equal in value to the cost a card. There is a difference, one which has very real consequences for some of us (up to affecting our bank balances) even if for you the end result is the same.

You could argue that what you get are a few free credits, not a free card.

Many of you have noticed that Showroom has been down for about two weeks. I got some private messages and you also wrote about this issue here, in this topic:

This is due to the iStripper update. I wasn't able to delve deeper into the problem, but it looks like the structure of the data retrieved from iStripper server has changed. This most likely caused Showroom to crash and refuse to load content.

Anyway, the problem has been partially resolved for the time being. I say "partially" because the most important functionality has been restored. However, some functions may still not work properly.

Some of you already knows that the upcoming version of iStripper will bring the new functionality allowing you to preview the upcoming cards. It seems that the showroom will no longer be needed. Not exactly! In addition to the upcoming cards, there is still a lot of new content to discover, such as images and video clips that even the new version of iStripper will not show you, but Showroom will :)

The current version of Showroom will no longer be updated. There is a newer version in plans, faster, more convenient, more mobile-friendly. Of course, it will take some time to finish it, and I don't have much free time. Therefore, the new version will be developed gradually.

Why does the system not allow you to get your free 5th card if you don't have enough credits to buy that 5th card? I have bought 4 cards, the 5th card should be free but it wont let me have my free card as I only have 0.26 credits left.

A good solution to avoid this kind of mishap in the future, I left my Lamborghini in the car park for a day. With the petrol savings I was able to credit my iStripper account four times => 4 * 500 cr = 2000 cr and then buy the 5 cards and get the least expensive one refunded without any difficulty.

when you install the software for the 1st time on a Computer
you will most likely get a Firewall Popup Question.

if you didn't Allow the app access through the firewall
the Communication will always be blocked
and you won't get a 2nd popup.

it just remains Blocked.

You may have to Search How to Allow an App through your Firewall.

There are several ways Totem could have implemented this general sort of offer, e.g.

Buy 4 cards separately get the next free or at a reduced price if it is not the cheapest.
Buy 5 cards in a single purchase and pay for all but the cheapest of them
Buy 5 cards separately and then get a refund on the cheapest one

The second of these is how many shops work similar offers, but Totem have chosen to use the third. I suspect the reason is simply because that was the easiest to implement (especially as it is only a ***** variation on previous similar special offers). The first, I think, would be the most complex to implement.

For most people it makes no difference which method is used. For some it means that they need to reload credits slghtly earlier than they otherwise would have needed to but for most of them this would make little difference. For a few, those that can not buy, or do not wish to buy, more credits it does make a difference, but I expect the number of these to be small.

The 5th card is not free, you get a refund for the least expensive one, so you need enough credits to buy 5 cards first to get the money for one back.

(which in English becomes something like: "Rather than nothing is rather better"......)

Certainly it is less attractive than its previous incarnations, but, in my opinion, it remains one of the best of the special offers - one of very few in which you have complete control over which cards you end up with and know beforehand how much it will cost to get them.

You get the best percentage refund, 20%, if you buy 5 cards that are equally priced and the best absolute value for the refund if you buy 5 expensive cards. But no matter which 5 cards you choose you effectively get one of them at no cost (ignoring for now the slight complication if you run out of credits before your 5th purchase).

To some extent, at least for some users, the previous versions of Cashback encouraged purchasing old, cheap, cards to get an expensive, 30 credit, card for free. The current version encourages either buying newer cards or buying 5 of the rarer more expensive cards if there are 5 left in the store for you to buy. But if you do that make sure that your purchases are properly sychronised - you do not want to accidently qualify for the refund after buying 4 expensive cards to get the refund for a cheaper card bought the day before.

The cashback is less attractive than before, but I have most of the cards I want so I don't care. One of the previous cashbacks I bought many cards and watched that the fifth card was the most expensive card. Lucky me.

There are 41 cards that have a higher than Regular Price.
So technically, if a member calculated it out, and waited, they would have had 41 opportunities
to take advantage of the old version of the Cash back offer.
