Well, as it looks like my previous post on the topic has just been deleted, instead of answered, I guess I have to re-submit, so here goes:
The "optional" recurring subscription is checked by default and I noticed too late, but the confirmation did not show, hence I thought it did not go through and ran through the proces again, this time without the subscription checked.
However, I have been billed for both transactions, and probably signed up for the subscription too - and no reply from the support to rectify this.
I don't care too much about the 200 CR on my account now, but please DO confirm, that this subscription thing is cancelled!
