I have been going through the files one at a time with 3 different folders open to move clips around that I was sorting through for keepers. I was informed about this player and this is EXACTLY WHAT I needed, no more copy, paste and delete 3 different times to get the job done. TY TY TY TY TY TY TY TY and TY. Only thing that is disappointing is you can't fast forward through clips, but that's ok, it's already saving me time. You are the man!

but you must have one of the Other Players installed, as it needs the VB6 runtime files from them.

I had this add on installed on my computer but lost it recently when my computer was repaired. Because of my limited computer knowledge I found it very difficult to install it originally and now cannot reinstall it.
I can download the zip file onto my desktop but when I use Winzip to open it I cannot seem to get it to install properly.
Can someone please post details of the procedure I need to follow to install it.

hello @peterbanker if i remember well, the 1 program you install have one install procedure, start by choose the program for the product you want, VG DB or VGUY and install it, after you find in the program file the folder VGHDPlayer2, in here you can place the new ADD.

You helped me solve the problem.
After installing this add on you have to go into Program Files, find the VGHD2 Player folder and inside that is the application to right click to produce an icon on desktop to run player. (Hope that makes sense and helps other members when they install and run this player)

What in the world did you do with your program? First you sell out to advertisement which flags my virus protection, then the program doesn't work anymore...ummmmm. Was the best VG addon, now not so sure.

I finally got the right one but now I'm having weird issues with VG, I really hope I didn't download a virus from the place that's trying to falsely advertise yours. This sucks.

I just looked in my add and remove programs and I see the virtuaguy player twice but can't delete them. I did a search manually for file names associated with it and I can't find anything. I don't know what to do and I have no idea what kind of virus I downloaded from that site but I guess I'm going to have to do another fresh windows install. So I guess that's a warning to anyone trying to download your player. Google will try to redirect you to the http://www.lvnd.com/ site and it is malicious software. This totally sucks.

I did a fresh windows install already but thanks for the offer to help. I know now where to go to get the correct ones. Lesson learned.

@Wyldanimal - I am still having trouble installing the DB version on my laptop with Vista, although I managed to download the VGHD with out any problem.

Could you briefly summarise the screens that we are supposed to see and an describe what we are supposed to do (e.g. left click or right-click) at each point just to ensure that I am following the steps correctly.

Each time I try to download, it seems to dump some files in a zip-folder in the download ot a temp folder. And I cannot open the software.

The VGHD version (which I can use) is in program files.

VGHD Player 2 Version 2.6.0.4 works fine for me with the new version of VG. Any fixes or improvements are always welcome though of course :-))

strange thing on my computer is .....the player for VG works errorfree....the player for DB not ( error 380 ) .

How can that be ?

fixes incompatibility with new version of VG and Deskbabes.

UnZip it to the Same folder where the previous version is installed.

Vista and 7 users you will have to Set XP compatibility mode.

The Deskbabes version, when it is done, will be called

Here is some secret information for you.

But did you know that if you make a desktop shortcut icon
You can open a models folder, and with the Icon on the desk top visible,

Click and ***** one of the clip names and drop it on the Icon.

So you have a ***** and Drop player for the clips in the Models folder.
but that's just way to easy to do it that way.

Vista and 7 users will still need to set XP compatibility mode on the shortcut.
