The Virtual Desktop Streamer, will capture the Frame Buffer of the Display and then send it to the Quest Headset,
it will Upscale or Downscale this frame buffer to the size to fit your Quest Headset.

This is how using an 8K virtual Display, Results in a Better Quest Display.
it is Downscaling from 8K, instead of Upscaling from a lower resolution.

I us the VR app Called Virtual Desktop.

an App for your Desktop device that Streams your Screen(s) to your VR Headset

Start iStripper on the Desktop

then put on your Headset and open the Virtual Desktop app in the Headset.

You should now see your Desktop screen in VR.

you see it Side be Side
now Click Under the Virtual Screen
there are some 3D choices
the One to the far left Half SBS is the one to use.

to Switch Back to 2D
repeat, Click under the Screen and then Click the same 3D icon to turn it off.

Using the Virtual Monitor

the Key point to make it work is this:
Enable the Driver.
Then Before you Create a New Virtual Screen
Set the Registry Values up that control what Resolution the Virtual Monitor will Have Available to it.

These "Default" resolution settings are what makes it possible.

Open a command prompt window as Administrator (you cannot add a device to your system unless you "Run As Administrator")
Run the following commands:

deviceinstaller64 install usbmmidd.inf usbmmidd (If you are on a 32-bit system, replace "deviceinstaller64" by "deviceinstaller")
Make sure you see the message that the drivers are signed by Amyuni Technologies Inc. This is a confirmation that the drivers went through Microsoft driver signing procedure and are virus free
Starting with version 2, the virtual monitor supports the following display resolutions by default:

1024 x 768 pixels
1360 x 768 pixels
1440 x 900 pixels
1600 x 900 pixels
1600 x 1200 pixels
1920 x 1080 pixels [Default Resolution]
1920 x 1200 pixels
2560 x 1440 pixels
3840 x 2160 pixels

After the first step above is executed, you can modify the list of supported resolutions by changing the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WUDF\Services\usbmmIdd\Parameters\Monitors

Up to 10 resolutions can be defined through this registry key. The keys should be named from "0" to "9". The (Default) registry value defines the default monitor resolution.

Could you please describe in more detail how to setup the PC to use a dummy plug monitor for iStripper?

The short answer is....just plug it in and your PC should recognise that it has a second monitor which you can then see using virtualdesktop on your Quest 3....

...but @WA found a better way to do this with a virtual monitor instead of a dummy plug.

It's a bit of a learning curve but well worth the effort. My PC now creates a virtual 8k monitor automatically at reboot and I watch shows almost entirely on that via virtual desktop. (Link above in this thread)

I have one monitor (1440p) and will view 3K iStripper shows via Quest3 and Virtual Desktop, just for the large screen fully immersed affect. I haven't attempted multiple monitors with this.

Yes I do believe several previews that I watched previously re-downloaded. Since there was a core group I was paying attention to.

Notably as well a great majority of my wishlisted items do not appear in the list as of now. Only a ***** portion of ones I'd chosen are listed.
It is possible to attempt to reproduce the 're'-dl'd pvues(previews, shorthand?)...I digress.
So I use a pretty big monitor currently 2660x1880 I think. But in the forums I have found I can use the default win cntrl rollerball to adjust the font size, but it forgets it upon reload.
I wish you guys would enable the default f5 refresh key, it could help aleviate some problems sometimes. Just coming from a place of near a decade in the QA Test Lab with various companies/studios.

The preview clip is a bit blurry/low res for me in 1080p. Like it is upscaled 720p instead of native 1080. The one where she is on her knees. The standing clip doesn't seem noticeable. I've been noticing this with occasional new clips for a long time; ever since a similar issue was confirmed back in... maybe even 2023. But it doesn't affect all dancers.

I bring it up again now because I'm one of the people who requested Annie Hill and have been excited out of my mind to see her on here! Thanks for bringing her, she's so sexy.

Issue Description

When the program starts, four random videos begin playing simultaneously. I like four girls in my screen.
If I open My Collection and choose a new video to play, the program replaces only one specific show—always the same one—no matter how many times I select a new video.
As a result, only that one slot can be replaced, and the other three remain locked, meaning they can never be updated with new selections.

Expected Behavior

Each time I select a new video from My Collection:

The new video should replace the oldest currently playing video, or

The new video should replace the video that was played first, ensuring that all four slots are eventually refreshed.

Current Behavior

The replacement logic always targets the same video slot (for example, slot #4), so the same one keeps being replaced, while the other three stay fixed indefinitely.

Suggested Fix

Modify the replacement logic so that:

The program tracks which of the four videos has been playing the longest or was loaded first, and

When a new video is selected, it replaces that oldest or least recently added video, rather than always replacing the same slot.

Alternatively, implement a round-robin replacement system:

Each new selection replaces the next slot in order (e.g., 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → back to 1), so all four can be replaced over time.

I just upgraded to 2.1.002 (build 1001) 64bit QT 5.15.18. Where do I start with the complaints.

I kinda gave up on IS a year ago but upgraded IS on my Windows computer a couple days ago to see if I was missing anything and [for me] it was a terrible experience. Thought I would finish off my credits but browsing the store is so *****. The App is unusable but what's worse is the card covers are not the best and the font is unreadable. It was hard to find any shows I wanted to even preview.

Most of my collection would have to be redownloaded but from what I can tell the shows do still play fine so I guess I'll call that a win. Didn't buy anything and will check back in Dec to see if Black Friday motivates me. Looking forward to version 3 and hopefully next years cover art will be more viewable. I'm posting this from the App but may check the website to see if I like it any better.

I have a 15" laptop. There is so much (unneeded) junk on the Collection and the store pages. Both of the sides and on the top. Put a slider on to make the photos of the cards adjustable. Why is there a need to have a link to become a Premium. You already have it in your Profile. Put the things that are on the left side back on top and put the what is on the right side, back the way it was.
Keep the NFT cards separate. It's bad enough that people have to buy the cards, but then you have to pay for the privilege of buying the card too. Why should we be penalized because some of us don't buy the nft's.

Black Friday's coming up. I'd put my hopes there.
