Hi, i'm a new member and I was asking myself what are the main differences between virtuagirl-virtuagirl2-virtuagirlHD.
And can I run on the desktop all 3? Are the older versions cheaper?

You can run VG2 and VGHD at the same time... but as separate software. However... there is no way to buy the older version anymore so if you don't have it you are out of luck.

About the first version of VG I think they only made a handful of models for that one. Maybe someone who has been around from the beginning can clarify about that one... I only have VG2 and VGHD.

Well, i wasn't around for VG and V2, but the main difference it's the high definition. Looks a lot better now with the new technology.
VG and VG2 are no longer available.

VirtuaGirl2 had 382 girls at the time of its closing.
Each girl had five outfits, usually.
There were 2 trios at least 25 different duos.

VirtuaGirl2 animations were tiny (check right side of screenshot).
The girls were always full body in the animations.

Each girl (and take) had a single main picture. Unlike vghd, these pictures often showed some nudity.

Most girls had a series of photos for each outfit and two or three videos.
Some of the videos and few of the photos had explicitness, including insertion (finger or dildo).

In the program, all girls were listed without showing the outfit names.
It was possible to click a plus sign (+) for any girl to show all of her outfit names.
Clicking any girl's name or any outfit name, gave a very short animation in the window (check bottom left of screenshot).

I've been around since the original VG, I've still got the software and girls on a few CDs somewhere. Off the top of my head I've no idea how many girls there were, but it was certainly a lot more than a handful.

As others have said the main difference is the size and resolution of the girls. The original VG ones were like tiny little pixies at the bottom of your screen :)

StripSaver was the first version I had, Stacy Silver, Nella, and Viki were available in that version also. I still have the program and 34 girls stashed on a CD and an old computer with Windows 95 on it, just in case of nuclear disaster or famine!
