It seems that the Strike for Ethnic Diversity requires a bit of explanation. To me I want to be able to see a visual difference or uniqueness to the models. In other words from the 3 major genetically unique areas of the world where they came from. These being (black) African, (white) European and Asian or Oriental.

If in one week Totem gives us a model from lets say Spain,France and Czech Republic, these are not Ethnically Diverse visually, they are all of white European origin and will not end the strike.

In all fairness, if they release 3 new cards per week give us one European, one Black and one Asian.

Even we Gnomes are not all identical

That sounds a lot more racial than ethnic. An Egyptian and Latin young lady from France has quite a bit of ethnic diversity all in one 5.25 frame. A global ***** potentially from three different continents.

Many thanks to SharkaFan01 and the subsequent fellows that dived for the missings specials in this humongous thread.

Being evident that the floor for cards on special is no lesss than 8.70, there's a currently pool of 236 cards matching or above that mark, with only a little more than 30 cards not been on special at least a second time after the release, for the newer ones, and never for the rest. Not a bad percentage at all.

So, my request for Totem is to incorporate the missing cards to the rotation and ask them to let the rotation go from start to finish without repeating the cards. There are like 3-4 cards on special everyday. Placing the cards the way of an ordinary i-tunes playlist for example, and adding the new friday releases, we should not see an special repeated after nearly 2 months or more.

I know a lot of people would like to have lower rated cards at special, but, quite frankly, the opportunity to have all the cards as specials at least once is a VIP privilege.

Well , I guess the quest for VIP status is a lost cause for me since there aren't nearly that many that I would want. At present I have 141. There may be half again as many that I would purchase at special now plus new cards as they become available .
But since I'm a lowly platinum member , the lower rated cards will not likely be available @special , therefore I will resist buying them.

Oh well. I was a "lowly" platinum once too. ;) If you search in this thread, you'll see that i ***** a lot about it. Everyone below the 300 shows, and specially the platinums, were affected by the company's decision of suppress the old calendar system and replace it with this flawed one. I've never liked the changes, but some adjustments have been made that slightly improved the initial disaster (remember VirtuaMorgane?).

I'm only saying that potentially more than 230 cards on special, rotating properly and growing, is a fair share of the total pool available at VG. Not to mention that we are talking of the best rated cards. It could be the opposite way, they offering on rebate only the + 300 lower rated cards. I guess never seeing Ariel or Melisa as specials could be a lot worse for many.

And yes, spending more money gives you privileges as a customer anywhere. That was also a hot potato with the stocked, old customers, and the solution was to give them the VIP status.

I have another concern .

I just hope there are enough Czech school girls coming up through the system to fill the ever burgeoning need for VGHD talent at the major league level.

So @titilate Can we agree to disagree on the terminology of your strike? When you say ethnic diversity I’m going to think of it as exotic diversity since you seem to want more black ladies and most likely could care less as to their ethnicity. I’m mean if Krystel was from the Czech Republic I doubt you’d care. I think my issue is semantics and not the point you’re trying to make. It just bothers me when someone is judged solely by what country they were born in or how much time their ancestors spent in the sun, no one has any choice in that matter, and I believe your issue is you and your fellow strikers would like to see a bit more of the rainbow than you are currently seeing.
I’m not joining your strike because; while I think Krystel is exquisite I have no real issue with the young ladies offered. I support you and your fellow striker’s courage of conviction and applaud your tenacity.
Personally I’m a sucker for dark hair and blue eyes and Eufrat and Melisa are right up my ally.

The booster packs are a good way to get some of the lower ranked cards, I got I think 5 of them overall, averaged out to be 7 girls per pack that I was after to add to or complete ones I was collecting.
