In all seriousness though(which is hard after the mod said that ness stuffs) a model mini fansite would be cool. Get a couple extra pics, maybe a flitter like posting thing going on, videos, hey even keychains.

One small point that you may want to think about.

Currently I believe that the models are engaged to come in for a photo shoot, it takes a specific amount of time, then they are gone with payment in hand. The job is over and it is a job for them, not the love of their life.

What you are asking for is an ongoing engagement/interaction with the model. Are you expecting that to be free? That the model should give up her time to respond to e-mails from a paricular site.

The model I am sure would want to be paid for her time & effort. That's why a number of them have their own subscription paid websites.

So who wants to pay extra for the pleasure of sending e-mails to a paricular model? Totem is certainly not going to be happy to pay an ongoing fee unless they can recoup the cost from you the user & if your not a subscriber who can pay for a higher subscription fee, then how do they recover the costs?

Its a good thought, but there are negative issues. :)

Well said Cartref, another point to consider is the tremendous load on the servers .. another cost factor, because the servers now would never handle the load it would require if a lot of people wanted to write to models at once.

If only the servers were Diana Doll, then they could handle the load.

Serieus respond to what you did say about a models mailbox:
Everyone who work in a bizz knows how IMPORTANT the fans are, all artists i know for real putting a lot of time in that efford because the groupies will forget a person if he or she think it isn't necesary to have contact with the FAN's!!!

EDIT } just to say 2 names; even a pornstar like Jenna Jameson or the "Golden pole dancing girl Suzie Q" do having a free-mailbox for their fans allready!
And there are a lot more models and artists who having that option for the fans :-)

If ever the models here will having a mailbox than it's on her own mind what she will do or not doing with that (in my eyes) GREAT oppurtunity. :-)

Those models who maintain their own web site would probably have a mailbox attached to it. But that would be for people who come to their site & not separate mail accounst for all the various sites that they have done work for.

Yes, they know about fans, but also they know about limitations as well. You cannot answer 100's of e-mails from multiple addresses daily, so they just don't. Much like any other celebrity,if they are big enough, they may employ someone to do it, but rarely themselves.

I know what you think Cartref, and your thoughts are right. Answering at every single mail isn't possible or they have only to type with 2 letters like "ty" "yw" or what else.

That's the reason why i am happy that real "starmodels" taking the time to answering my mails with more than just two letters :-)
