Not only they constantly use favorite models to wear those silly cosplay/anime outfits, they sell them at the highest price. Are those cheap outfit so expensive? Or maybe models ask more for showing in these outfits. But if it's because they have to pay rights, I'm even more against cosplay/anime.

They're not paying rights - there's no way the rights holders in a lot of these cases would allow their brand to be officially associated with adult content.

Personally I enjoy the outfits but I ***** the cross-eyed tongue-out face that some of the models pull when doing an Anime inspired show. I haven't watched enough of the recent shows to know if it's particularly common in them yet, but the possibility does make me less likely to get some of those shows.

I'm not against cosplay, just against the higher prize because of some cheap 5$ outfit.
And they don't pay rights, because it is always called a parody and there is a disclaimer saying that.

I very much love Belka and will buy all of her cards, except SEC.
Pikachu is not human. However, Belka playing this is very much a beautiful human. And, I like the looks of this cosplay.


Cosplay is rather nice and I like girls doing that. The clothing is sometimes a bit odd, but usually I like it.
One example (the only cosplay I have seen [other than pics] in the past three months): Li Moon - Div.ass

She is beautiful and is really having fun in this card, enjoying the cosplay.
Of course, I will also buy all cards of Li.

In short, Cosplay of any kind does not stop me from buying a card of a beautiful and/or very desirable woman.

'Ahegao' is a facial expression of which I am not fond. It is obvious that many girls like to do that. I will never tell a girl she should not do that. If a girl likes acting a certain way in a card, then that makes that card that much more enjoyable to watch.
On another adult website, I have often said this (or something very similar) to a girl, or a pair of girls:

As long as they are properly labeled i.e. tagged I don't care and plan to simply ignore the Anime cards. I'm fine with some cosplay. Also there should be a tag for "Ahegao" (which I think comes from Hentai) as many cultural things simply do not translate. I also tend to avoid "Kawaii" now that the tag exists. I think that one refers to the movement and mannerisms. It's all good, just have it tagged is the thing. <(^_^)>

That's how I feel too and don't really like much the silly ears, especially where they stay on through the whole show and in all the photos.

knowing what I know, it's not cute, it's not funny; it's a turn off.

I wish there was a clip code designation, like there is for Glass clips, Accessory clips

Not only are they cheap, Totem will put the costumes on eBay and make a massive profit on them - so how can they justify the extra cost of the cards?

Then you'd realize, that Totem is making hardly anything on the cards.
Some of them don't even break even...

Popular cards make up for the ones that don't.

Just suppose they sell 15% less cards because the card is 15% more expensive and the model wears a cosplay outfit, where's the deal for them or the angry members? Of course we don't have those numbers but I'm just curious. Unless people claiming not buying, buy anyway.

... or what the economists call the "elasticity of demand". We don't know that and we don't know how representative is the sample of 50 or so voters, of the 10k+ active members (the Discord population). And, even if we knew the price elasticity, we still can't account for the customers' reaction to novelty or comedy. There's no ***** in shooting the breeze, though. Or venting a bit of spleen.

I reckon all credit to Totem for trying something new and producing a goofy and whimsical parody. At least Belka, like Sia Siberia, can do a decent job of mocking the genre, and mocking us. As striptease customers, we deserve a bit of mockery!
