Speaking as someone in the prime of life, I resent the suggestion that I must be either an onanist or an old fart! We have no idea if younger members are porn lovers or beauty junkies. We have no idea whether they spend more or will spend for longer than old farts - there are plenty of industries that rely on the oldies to keep them going. All we know is that there is a vocal minority who pile in on the forum, whenever somebody bemoans the high proportion of xxx cards or the length of the SE clips.

Fortunately Totem can track our spend profiles and react accordingly. There's no point in trying to second-guess their marketing strategy.

Old farts? What are you talking about? XXX cards started outnumbering the dancing shows, like what 6 months ago? And are these some kind of creative or revolutionary changes or are they just conformity? And it's also eliminating options, not adding them. And to counter your example, there are also plenty of other examples of the inverse. Change just for the sake of change has also bit many companies in the ass and caused them to lose money. It could very well happen to Totem in the long run. If they displease their long-term customers and whales and only go after the "young and dumb" they might only receive short-term success because these new customers might not buy that many shows. Or they might realize that there are dozens of places that they can see porn stars masturbating for free. Maybe another company capitalizes on the lacking soft-core market and profits off of Totem's conformity changes.

Of course this is only theory because we don't know Totem's finances, and also because not enough time has passed yet. But getting rid of the dancing shows sounds like an awful, awful idea. Only getting porn stars sounds like an awful, awful idea. But, hey, who knows, maybe I'm wrong and Totem has long-term success getting rid of or drastically reducing their dancing shows. I can't believe there are some people defending less options as good change.

But in september 2020, instead, only one XXX show has been published - and in several other months of 2020 there has been very very few - but at that time complaints from XXX lovers, if even present, have been far milder than what we have to see from "plain" fans every time there is even a minimal increase of XXX shows' number.

It could very well happen to Totem in the long run. If they displease their long-term customers and whales and only go after the "young and dumb" they might only receive short-term success because these new customers might not buy that many shows.

Same argument has repeatdedly been brought on in the past by people ***** SECs (and for some months I said it too) --- now, not only SECs are still here, but their number continues to be increased... it's evident they have been just increasing their earnings and that Totem's marketing strategy was not so a crazy one at the end...
It's quite probable they think now that the few collectors they'll lose from the slight increase of XXX will more than compensated by sales of same card to the new users - and this is quite probable to be working.

Oh, can't believe you read that, huh? It was just unbelievable! So because of September 2020, the recent trends of 80-90% XXX shows can't be mentioned or you won't believe it. It's unbelievable! I know we all have different tastes but I'm surprised that there are people here that don't like the dancing shows at all and want them to go away. I like how you call the dancing shows "plain", too. I really like the product, it is unique, and they get some extremely hot girls to do this. If this turns into a hardcore-only site then they might get only porn stars. 1) I like dancing shows too and would never want them to go away. I don't am happy, though, when I see people asking other conten - that I also like - to be removed.
2) The 2021 balance of plain and XXX cards is 50% - 50% (your "80% of XXX" is simply fake news) - so it's a good balance. No one is asking or wanting plain cards to disappear - no members, and not Totem for sure.
3) An "old style" iStripper/VG without XXX content is also more a legend than a truth.
Many "good old" plain cards did show masturbation or at least rubbing, even if there was not a XXX clip category at the time. And after such categorisation had been introduced... there were several such "spicier" plain cards also. Naomi Nevena's 1634 "Beach Tease" plain card (released in 2014), for exemple, has not less than six XXX clips!
It has also to be said that meanwhile, at same time, almost all XXX cards had almost only table/masturbation clips - now they have 3 or 4 such XXX clips only and contain many standing and pole clips too.
So, even if the global amount of XXX cards released has been recently increased, the amount of XXX content (clips) currently produced is quite probably still lesser than one of a few years ago (since every XXX card has now less XXX clips than once; and also, in recent times no more plain card contains XXX cilps - while once, more than several ones did have some such clip). Trusted and respected Mods as @Wyldanimal could probably confirm this.
