We have no indication that Totem is going back to anything, but I don't think you'll get a straight answer to your question. The all-table format only one format of xxx show that was deployed from time to time. It disappeared for a while, but Liya is on her take-2 and maybe the director wanted to differentiate the show from her others. It'll give some users a reason to buy it.

Both sides of this argument are sometimes expressed vigourously and anybody who expresses a view, including me, is liable to get their nose put out of joint. Good pushback - I usually just sit in a corner and sulk silently. I tell myself that the debate is pointless and we'll never agree. But a bit more disclosure from Totem about the content of each show might take some of the heat out of it. Then we can get on with bickering about the % of xxx shows....

Just a reminder everyone's sexuality and sexual tastes are different. I prefer more of the teasing, stripping, but I also enjoy when a woman pleasures herself.

Like someone else mentioned I find it to be a turn off when a dancer sucks on a toy and I'm not a huge fan of the toys. What is cool about I stripper is I can delete these out. Granted I'm left with less scenes, but I'm usually happy with the fingering scenes.

Variety is the key with the ability to click off scenes.

Full disclosure of what are the clips would be nice.

I agree there should be clearer labeling. On Liya's card, they say "Full X show," and "For this card there are only 6 xxx animations," but that's ambiguous. Full X could mean "she went all the way," and "there are only 6 xxx" could mean there aren't more than 6 xxx shows. They should say, "There are no standing or pole clips," or "only xxx clips." I bought it, being a little unclear about it, and was a bit disappointed.

A few people asked to be able to completely rid themselves of the sight of cards that they had bought but did not want. Being able to permanantly hide hide them seems to be the way that Totem have responded to this request.

Personally I think that a card in order to be labeled as XXX should have at least three XXX clips. Moreover, it should contain (which unfortunately most times doesn't happen) AT LEAST one "ordinary" table clip apart XXX ones. And all table clips of a XXX card (XXX and non-XXX ones) should have sound.

Same for me. Half of the cards time should be XXX if a card is labeled iStripperXXX.

While I personally like them much, I understand how "new XXX cards with mostly XXX clips" can not be favorite ones of "plain" cards' lovers. That's the reason I proposed a new label for such cards.

I would like to point also, however, that for me "usual XXX cards" have too few XXX content, too few table clips and too few sound.

I hope not. I much prefer the cards that concentrate on the strip and tease promised by the name of the program. For me any XXX content would preferably be a ***** added extra - at most 5 minutes per XXX rated show.

I am, however, greatly in favour of making a summary of a card's clip list being available to all before purchasing the card so that people can have a better idea of what they are buying than they currently do.

So if you dont like XXX buy the regular collection and turn off the one or two xxx scenes.

Some xxx cards are still good value, even when you turn off the xxx bit. For example I have Angelika Greys xxx cards with 15mins turned off and the result is a great striptease.

The issue is that until we buy an xxx card, we don't know whether we're going to get 20+mins of xxx and a bit of perfunctory tease or we're going to get a little xxx and a lot of dancing. Whatever your preference, you need to know roughly what you're buying. The comments and ratings often reflect the disappointment that many people feel.

Totem could adjust the rating system, as @HansSachs suggested, or give prospective buyers access to the clip-list. Either would reduce disappointment and probably increase sales of xxx cards.

Well my understanding is that there are iStripper XXX and iStripper regular. If you prefer XXX then the XX collection are your best bet. The other regualr iStripper can has a xxx level too, but it will be a very small part of the cards.

I prefer the XXX and i like for the cards to have over half xxx scenes time wise. I do buy some of the regualr cards if it has an xxx scene or is model who has atributes that i like.

So if you dont like XXX buy the regular collection and turn off the one or two xxx scenes.

Either way there is no since *****, totem will do what it feels is best for its bottom line.

For Totem it's not what any of us want, it's only about what sells best and makes the most profit for them. So they have to try new (and in this case old) things to see what sells well.

If history has any saying, having cards that are exclusively XXX were a flop and Totem had to rethink the whole approach. Just stating the facts here.

Can you get special event cards from the box?

I would think not, because everyone with an otherwise complete collection could max out their SECs with just a box or two

1. I don't think Totem is going back to the old XXX-format, but probably there will be more of those old format XXX-cards since there is demand for those and Totem follows the money.

2. Totem should give information of what you can expect (cliplist). If there are no Standing and Pole clips in the preview you now already more or less that they are not in the card.

3. My preference are f-cards with Standing and Pole clips and a maximum of 10 minutes XXX-table clips.

The amount of xxx has been highly variable for a while now and it's really difficult to know how much you're going to get when you buy a card. Kay J's Victorian Secret was only about 7mins, where Liya Silver's Silver Lining was 21mins. And the actual striptease element is highly variable - some of Angelika Grays' best dance clips were on xxx cards. And I find that sometimes the xxx seems to be a natural extension of the strip act, sometimes it's pretty much independent.

This thread suggests that some xxx lovers are reticent to buy a card that might not have much xxx, where striptease lovers are reticent because it might have too much. I suspect that Totem are shooting themselves in the foot by restricting access to the clip list to people who've bought the card.

The solution, in the ***** of action from Totem, is for more people to include the clip count in the comments section.

Solution is simple: just create a new definition and label, "XXXX" or so, for the few cards who have mostly XXX clips, in order to make them even more desirable for some people, and also to avoid complaints from some others.

If you Have P2P enabled
and there are Active P2P downloads.
when you QUIT iStripper, it will keep the Active P2P connections established till the download is finished or the connection lost.

In the Past, the Desktop app, and the Downloader App were two separate processes.
Both are combined in one now.

In the Past the Desktop app would quit and close,
while the Downloader remained active if you had P2P activity.

What is iStirpper doing when it's Idle?

iStripper is never really Idle.
it is constantly scanning the registry
It phones home regularly
It checks your data folders
It downloads news and updates
It downloads card images and info if checksums don't match
it checks and updates the standard set of full Screen Scenes
It checks and updates all of the Featured tabs.
It's performing P2P functions if you have P2P active
It's updating Previews if you have them Enabled.
So It is always busy in the background, including Disk activity, Internet Activity
It might even be Making you Lunch in the background.

Ok, it's not making you lunch.. just kidding about that.
But it is almost always busy.
It shouldn't be using 50% in the background though.. a few Percent now and then.....



I did experience an issue once, where iStripper kept repetitively downloading the same card images over and over.
and CPU use kept ***** in the double digits, but HD usage was at a constant 100%

Not being able to Write to a file, and Not confirm the checksum, was causing an endless Loop
Download, check CheckSums, CheckSums not match, Download, check CheckSums, CheckSums not match......

that issue has long since been addressed though..

So this is a great card for me. If you want striptease buy the standard cards and not XXX ones.

I've been using Live Jasmin for about 5 years, beore iStripper made their deal. A lot of models charge 1.99 per minute but many charge more. 2.99 and 3.99 are common and I've seen a few at 5.99. Recently Live Jasmin has started charging extra for cam-to-cam. This can be 1 or 2 credits per minute. Live Jasmin customer support has told me the added charge is up to the model. It can be very expensive.

I'm running version 1.2.243 of iStripper on a 2013 Mac Pro under OSX 10.14.6. I don't see a process mediaanalysisd using Activity Monitor. I did an internet search. This seems to be a Mac problem related to facial recognition. It doesn't seem to be related to iStripper.

Was pretty disappointed this morning to see Liya's new XXX card has NO standing or pole clips. I know this community has had a lot discussions in the past and agreed that a model sitting on a table the entire time does not fit the definition of i"Stripper".

Problem was in Windoze - reboot after making sure no viruses, got iStripper back on the right track.
Puzzling thing was, that the problem only existed for iStripper.

@Z22 Correct - and I did "Quit" from taskbar. Things are called very differently in my language, so I often interchange wording for taskbar and systray. 😉

Been 9 years here on Totem, the most exciting moment was to see Totem announce a new, "Japanese Actress".
