For me, these files also exist for a handful of shows. ".vhdresolution" files are not required to properly play a show. I think iStripper creates them in situation where they are neccessary, but what are those situations? I'm not sure. Maybe it has something common with default resolution that you choose in Settings? Let's see...

Yes, it has. Try this: go to Settings, make sure "Advanced settings" is checked, scroll down to "Downloads" section and set your default resolution to, let's say, 720p. Now go to "My collection" tab and choose any of the recently downloaded shows. From the dropdown list select resolution different than your default one, let's say 3K or 4K. The ".vhdresolution" file has been now created. It contains info about selected resolution, not the default one, but the one selected for this particular show.

The same works the other way around. If the default resolution in Settings tab is set to 3K (or 4K if you're premium member"), but you choose different resolution for particular show, the ".vhdresolution" file will be automatically created. For example: @Evaneself has access to 3K shows and I can assume that his default resolution is set to 3K. But he choose to download Diana's shows in other resolutions (720p and 1080p). That's why iStripper created the ".vhdresolution" files for the other resolutions.

1. It seems that ".vhdresolution" is created by Istripper no matter what you have set in Settings. Just open details for any show, mess with the "Resolution" dropdown list and this file will be created. It is that simple.

2. If you choose 720p, the ".vhdresolution" file will be empty. It looks like this is the default resolution, so iStripper doesn't write data to ".vhdresolution" file if 720 is selected.

I do not think I have this file for any of my downloaded cards. I checked e0807 in the data folder. Not there.

But even at the start there were some A series cards that were about 35 minutes in length.

So there were, also at the start, shows which length was 20 minutes or even lesser.

As far as I remember these two files (.vhddisabled and .vhdresolution) are just plain text files and can be created manually.

.vhddisabled - is created when you disable a card in your collection. It is empty text file. The file itself is just a flag that tells the software that this particular card should be disabled in iStripper. You can create this file manually or programatically using batch script or any programming language.

.vhdresolution - the file tells what resolution is stored in folder for the particular show (it can be 480p, 720p, 1080p, 3K or 4K). It can be also created manually or using script or programming language.

So, no need to redownload a show just for these two files.

I said early shows. The switch to shorter times being the nom occurred well before the end of the A series. But even at the start there were some A series cards that were about 35 minutes in length.

I just find out that after I downloaded all the resolutions at the shows of Dianna: 3k, 1080p and 720p in folder "models", at the folder iStripper\data\(number of the card) I have two files: .vhddisabled and .vhdresolution in all the folders of her cards.
At first I had one card's folder with only .vhddisabled and I remember that I donwloaded only one version before.
I was about to ask why one card folder has only .vhddisabled file, but I checked again after I downloaded all her shows at all the resolutions. I am very sure about what I am writing here.

Please, check your folders e0807, e0808, e0809, e0810, e0811, e0812 from data folder, to have all the files:
.jpg,
.vhddisabled,
.vhdresolution,
.xml,
_full.png,
_nude.png

I would not say "usually". Checking A series i find some cards lasting more than 40 minutes, the vaste majority being around 30 minutes (particularly some minutes over 30 - exactly same amount we have now), but also many ones which duration was less of 30 minutes - some of such even during less than 20 ones (particulary the very first cards to be released on store) e.g. Laura a0049 lasting 14 minutes, Silver a0004 lasting 16 minutes - and they are not the only ones with such short durations.

I don't have time to make an extensive nor a full check, but, seeing what I have seen, I think I can infere, even if there was of course a bigger variability in durations than one we have seen in more recent years, medium duration to have been around 30 minutes also at those early times.

So the shows get shorter.

You get less for the same money.
The hourly wages of the models have probably increased, But they want to keep the price for the cards the same.
So the shows get shorter.

I've never had much interest in NFTs.
However, because of Dolz I started to look into it a bit.
Not to trade with it, but to possibly buy an interesting card for istripper (and then only for the purchase price of 200 Dolz).
I talked to an acquaintance who knows a lot about NFTs about NFTs last night. He's been on it from the start.
He talked about the fact that the government in many countries wants to get a grip on this and that you have to fill in your identification etc. everywhere when you purchase NFTs.

I also read that some (e.g. Robinhood) stop supporting e.g. Polygon (Matic).
He himself does not have a Matic, but was able to show me that the price has fallen from $ 0.85 to $ 0.53 from the beginning of June due to these actions.

Interesting. I installed Metamask mobile app on my phone and tried to buy MATIC using the app. I got different options to buy MATIC than when I was using my PC browser. The minimal amounts were lower, but at the same time there were different vendors and - unfortunately - transaction costs were higher.

I registered an account in Coinbase and bought some MATIC. Indeed, the purchase options are much better for person who don't need big amount of coins.

Now I have to buy some MATIC, using this method:

The 1st time I tried to send myself some USDC from Coinbase to my Wallet.
I thought, I need to use the Token contract address.
So I used the Polygon USDC token address.

I sent myself $10.00 or so I thought.

What really Happened was I sent $10 to the USDC token, and now it's lost in that Tokens Liquidity.
I basically Donated my $10 to the Liquidity fund.

It's lost, Non-Recoverable.

Never send to a Token Contract Address.
ALWAYS send to a Wallet Address, and make sure to select the correct Network.

So, I bridged my DOLZ from Ethereum Network to Polygon Network, just like has been described here:

and using some knowledge from @Wyldanimal's posts (BTW: thanks again). How much it costs me? Hmm... I'm not sure, but it looks like not that much. Before confirming and starting the transaction it said something about $8 in total. The amount was split into two values: the transaction fee ($2.98) and some other fee, I don't remember the name (it was less than $5). So, the whole "bridging" from ETH to POLYGON should cost me less than $8. I confirmed the transaction. I don't know why, but when I looked at my available funds after transaction was completed, the difference between "before" and "after" was less than $5. That's strange. Should be around $8 and was around $5. My thought was: "Not bad". Of course, still, these money are lost and I could use them to buy several standard iStripper cards, but at least it is not $25-$30 as in @Wyldanimal's case. I don't know, maybe I came in the right time when network wasn't busy, or maybe it depends on the amount of bridged coins? Now it doesn't matter. Finally my DOLZ are on POLYGON network and I can use them.

I don't like the fact, that I'm ***** to spend some minimum amount of real money to buy coins. Usually the minimum is much higher than I need. There are many people who would say wasting your time(and money) watching little woman dance on a desktop is idiotic, let alone pleasuring ones self to it, or watching it while working, or..... After reflection I have come to realize that special event, gambling, trading cards or an extention of the experience that istripper offers. Everybody who partakes in the software has attachments, addictions, preferences and some people love to collect, gamble, auction, sell, and a few will enjoy having an entire card that nobody in the world can enjoy. Totem has shown to be balanced in its decisions in the past and has shown restraint in only pursuing huge explosions of money at the cost of long term customers. I expect the same to persist. The fact that special event and trading cards are only slightly different attests to totems restraint in locking "new" content behind walls or is a reality that the product can't offer much more than what we get for a standard card.

I think such cards of 60 minutes to have been exceptions rather than standards even at time of their publishing.

If you have adblocker running in your browser, you need to turn it off for this particular website. Otherwise images won't load. In this case images are loaded from another domain, that's why they are treated as potentialy unwated content.

I was merely trying to point out that the length of current cards and the number of clips in them is a lot less than those in the Abigaile Johnson cards and other cards released around that time.

@FalconAF :Go to your collection tab, open the filters, select all resolutions below 4k in the filter "chosen resolutions" then press ctrl+A : at the bottom will appear several commands, including "resolution" : select "4k" then it will tell you how many cards had been downloaded into another resolution than 4k and propose you to download the 4k version :)

This is the kind of "expalanation" that needs to be in the User's Manual too, though. Don't get me wrong...I'm not ***** for the sake of *****. But iStripper is a unique AND complicated program with many ways to "do things" that the User Manual simply doesn't explain at all. Yes, I'm very familiar with users who won't take the time to "RTFM", but when a user WILL take the time and effort to go read (or search) the User Manual and there is NO information about "how to do something the GUI allows", then there is a definite "fault" in the application's documentation.

Also, if the information IS already in the User Manual, the QUICK answer for those users who WON'T initially read the instructions is, "Go to page ### in the User Manual for How To Do It." Saves other users (or the application creators or forum Moderaters) a lot of repetitve typing.

Start iStripper

Then ***** the Model to the screen that you would like to see her on
If you have more then one girl
you may have to ***** each girl to the screen.

Suggest you look at the length of the Abigaile Johnson shows.
Divine delight show a0723 has 27 clips totalling 55 minutes in length.

1. Why am I seeing models I don't own (advertisement to buy?) randomly on my desktop. I have the settings to only show topless and above.

2. How do I get the models to stay on 1 specific monitor screen. I have 3 screens and when I add more than one model, they show up everywhere (other monitors, on top of windows, etc.) or all stack on top of one another.

XXX cards, anyway, usually tend to have less clips than ordinary cards do.

It's not so much the Number of Clips that they build a card around.
It's total Play time.
They try to have at least 30 minutes of total Play time per card.

and as you can tell, the XXX clips are longer than Non-XXX card clips.
So while it is still around 30 minutes it results in fewer but longer clips.

The 1st AirDropped NFT cards, The additional clips per Level are EXTRA to the 30 minutes of the limited card version.

And the Final Additional Clip for the Legendary cards, is sort of a Special Clip.

It would not be easy to tell, I think.
There is an extremely variability about number of clips in iS cards: from what I have been seeing, ranging from less than 10 clips to more than 30 ones.
XXX cards, anyway, usually tend to have less clips than ordinary cards do.

@JonC001 I forgot to mention, not counting the demo clips that are sometimes just the first 20-30 sec. of another longer clip of the show.
So maybe about 10 to 13 clips without demo clips for an XXX card.

@pickle1 Thanks, I got that part about every level having 1 extra clip. It's stated on the auction page and was mentioned also in this thread.

Rare is limited +1; Epic is limited +2; Legendary is limited+3. You do not know what is in those extra clips (level, duration etc) in advance.

And @calgon - I doubt they have blown their wads. These guys would have bought big in the pre-sales when Dolz were selling at $0.008. They are currently trading at around $0.013 - an increase of (I think) 62% in their value!

So someone who bought 200,000 Dolz in the pre-sale has already made a potential $1,000 profit

@arise77 I am also not a participant in Dolz or in any crypto, just a curious spectator :) But what I know is that the four different rarity levels of NFT cards each has different number of clips. "Rare" has more than "Limited", "Epic" has more than "Rare" and "Legendary" more than "Epic".

If some people are willing to pay this amount of money just for one show, it's understandable for Totem to take adavantge of it.

I haven't been really following the whole NFT thing, just read some of the news here and there. I had a quick look at the auction going on.
Are the NFT shows any different than the regular ones here on Istripper? Are they longer, do they have more clips?

A regular Is XXX card these days has about 10 or 11 clips. Do these NFT cards have the same amount of clips, +1, 2 or 3 clips. Or are the "extra" clips already counted among those 10/11 clips?
Does that mean the basic NFT has only the stripping clips, and the 3 other levels get an "extra" explicit clip?
If that's the case, I don't really see the point of owning anything else than the 1st level.
If the 4th & most common level is only 15 to 20 min long and has the explicit table clips missing, then it's not an Is XXX card anymore.
Just my thoughts. It's way too pricey for me in any case.

I noticed that if I use firefox (my usual browser) in private mode with adblock and other customised privacy settings, isworkshop doesn't display properly. So I use another browser (Chrome) where privacy settings are more basic and that does the trick. Hope that helps.
