Why the sudden explosion in the number of categories?
There are 57 now.
7 new ones: bdsm, bunny, casual, costume, foot play, kawaii (why not cute? -why go Japanese?), kitty
I think bdsm is unnecessary - those cards usually involve leather or latex, categories which already exist.

Why not "solo" for fullscreen scene writers who do not want duos messing up the scene?
Why not "Wings" when a card is ruined by silly clothing? "silly" might also do. I already know to avoid "bunny", as that too would be appropriate for a "silly" category.

And while on my little hobby horse - why keep changing them?
I never understood what was wrong with "naked feet" - is "Bare feet" (note the rogue capital letter) so much better.
Duo was changed to Lesbian, hairy to Bushy (note the rogue capital letters again), skinny to slim, tiny tits to small tits. Mysteriously, "porn star" was changed to "pornstar". Also we got a category for US Stars - tautologous when one glances at the model's Nationality or City.

I suppose that "skinny" might be regarded as mildly perjoritive in the days or wokery, and was worth changing.
But what am I to undertand distinguishes a costume from a dress?

This means there are inconsistencies between the GUI and the .xml descriptor files - both those which get downloaded and staticProperties_iStripper.xml.
@lucaszr is still using the old tags - naked feet in particular - in his www.isworkshop.eu web site.

I would be interested to know from a moderator or even a developer what evil logic lies behind all this category stuff. I think it is all very muddled!

Hiya. As a moderator who is also involved in QA checking the shows, maybe I can enlighten you.

I had not noticed that "foot play" had arrived and I cannot find any card yet with "kawaii".

However - why the increase in the number of categories? Simply and primarily - to help members find cards in the store that they might want to add to their collections. Think of two scenarios....

Firstly - you have had a preview show flash up on your screen and it was gone before you could find the model details but you remember the girl had kitty ears on - well you could now search the store, pull up all the girls with kitty ears and find the show you want - and buy it.

Secondly - you have a fetish/peccadillo/interest in a certain genre or style of show - if you could enter those details and get a nice tight return for your criteria, you are more likely to buy the show.

So - potentially greater customer satisfaction and increased sales.

As for changes from "naked feet" to "bare feet" and the changes to spelling of pornstar etc - I will have to pass on that one.

A sort of change log here but some is just guessing on the why and others know way more than I do on this. Also I only use the app and not the website. The tags may be different there.

Celui-ci me pose problème, car il pourrait être attribué à trop de cartes, a mon avis, il devrait donc être affiné 😕 I have a problem with this one as it could be attributed to too many cards in my opinion so it should be fine-tuned 😕

Maybe it does help new customers locate cards in which they might have an interest. I am an old hand so, and I usually catch new cards soon after their release, so it does not apply to me.
I seem to remember reading here some time ago that one cannot select more than one category. So if you want a nurse wearing stockings you will have to get all the nurses and proceed from there!

However, the reasons for changes seem a little obscure. I can understand one or two , but by no means all.

I am wondering how many customers called for the new 'kitty' category. Do you need 1, 10, 100 or 1000 requests?

All rather trivial, but some seem interested.

Two tags "disappeared" a while ago. We in QA suggested that, should they return, the tags "tiny tits" and "skinny" were more like playground taunts than categories a model would be happy with - and I think that was why they became "small tits" and "slim".

As for the "BDSM" tag - in my personal view we have allocated it too broadly - I would have preferred to see it reserved for the real hard-core BDSM more like Marica Chanelle with the hot wax and Veronica Leal with the way she slaps her pussy.

"Costume" covers any clearly defined costume like secretary, nurse, cop etc but excludes cosplay which is reserved for recognisable characters from games, manga etc.

"Casual" should represent daytime wear - so if you like seeing a girl dressed as you would probably expect to see her anywhere in real life, this hopefully will suit you.

"Kitty" - pass!

With all these tags, there is always a degree of subjectivity rather than objectivity and will I'm sure get "fine tuned". Certainly in QA at the moment we are "suggesting" addition or removal of the tags from new cards rather than being certain 😉
