Yes, it is 100% correct, while 2.0 was still in Beta.

But now that it has been set to the current Stable Release version
changing the Advance Setting called Version Type
will no longer install the 1.2.552 version
It will install 2.0

Close and Quit iStripper
you then need to Manually download 1.2.552
then Install it OVERTOP of your current version.

I dislike 2.0 because a lot off change that for me makes it harder to use it.

In the old version when I hover over a card buttons appear. 2 most importend the play and enable/diseble. If I select 1 or more the button show on the bottom. Again with the 2 most importend button plus handy extra. I use that a lot. In 2.0 I have to use right click menu. I ***** that.

In the old version there was less useless space. In 2.0 the top row is move to the left so in the store/Collection/NFT there is now less space for the cards. Also the cards size option is gone so the cards are big. Greate for 4K screen users but not 1080P.

Would be nice to have the mute button back. Sure using the slider works but 1 click to mute is better.

The release year filter is gone. I did not use it every day but enough that I miss it as there is only 3 option for collection.

Now above is bad but I can sort of life with it. But not with the Queue the way it is now is realy bad in how I use iStripper.

In the old version I simple select and enble the cards I want to play and click play (on\off switch or left click system tray icon) The software then play alle the enable cards and when disable one card or more cards it stops playing that card. >>That's Perfect and as expected<<

2.0 version when I select and enable cards it put it in the queue and when click play (On/off icon or left click system tray icon) the software play alle the cards in the queue. So far is the same. But then when I disable 1 or more card it will not remove it from the queue and the software will contiue to play the card.

The problem is that I have to remove them 1 by 1 from the queue as it does not do it when disable the card.

That is why I dislike the 2.0 version and the preview but that is already fix/change.
If Totem can make an option to disable the queue and have the software work like the old one I would be happy even if they do not fix/modify the other things.

Honestly... I don't know how many people are even using full screen, there's so little posted.

I wrote a script to pretty much automatically convert shadertoy shaders but with so little interest and you having converted the same, I didn't see much point in duplicating what you are already doing.

At the moment as you saw, I'm working on 3D SBS images. Being able to run 8K on my PC is awesome. I need to put some thought into how to categorise my 3D images as I am creating quite a lot of them.

I'm probably going to do 4K as well as it's just a couple of extra clicks to scale the images back down and then they might be of interest to a few more people.

I don't think there's a very good route for new iStripper users to even find fullscreen let alone learn how to build scenes in it.

Now, the version 2.0 build 1036 is the stable version.

Sorry if I only *****, I am sure there are positive things as well. My first impression of 2.0 was not the best. The app opened with dark theme with black text on dark background and thus more or less unreadable. Right now the dark theme works but if I switch to the light theme it works in the app but I get white text on light background in the forum.

I like to have an overview of all of a models shows, not on a slide that gets very long if the model has many shows. I can get an overview if I write the models name in search, but there is no shortcut. If I click the models name I get to an empty store page, since as an elite member I already have all her shows. Clicking a tag also take me to an empty store page for the same reason.

I also like to have an overview of the photoset belonging to a show, not on a very long slide. I sometimes like to have a model dance in front of one of her photos, and with the new display area the photo is smaller and I also miss being able to zoom with the mouse wheel.

I can, of course, get use to the new. I can download a photo to let a model dance in front of it. I can go to the iStripper website and get an overview of a models shows and on the website I also get an overview of a shows photoset. But I would prefer not having to visit the website to do things I could do in the old version of the app.

When l'm searching in my collection for a girl by name l would like to have all the other applied filters disabled like they used to be in earlier versions, so l can see all her cards (disabled, deleted, hidden etc). Same goes for the store.

Just gotta say I definitely like the new design/format for the 2.0 software. Great job to the iStripper Team!

The issue with multiple resolution screens not displaying the models correctly is make or break for me currently. A feature I would like on the new version is a classic shell option. Give me an option to make it look and act like the old version. Making clip choices on the fly is not something i see as needing to be easier. I just want to ***** and drop the shows i'm interested in in the moment. It's not easy to build a large queue on the fly. Bring back the sidebar queue as an option and ***** and drop as an option. Add an easy way to select large amounts of models. As it stands it takes way too long to build queues like I was able to on the previous version.

Yes, Dolz cards end Istripper cards can be played in the same playlist.
Also you can only play the clips you want.

The playlist can also import the old playlists (vpl format) modified and exported to the same .vpl.

@charliefoxtrott: I don't have any of the DOLZ NFT cards so I don't know if they will be playable but I wouldn't expect them to be. It really depends on how they are treated. Like normal collection cards that are stored in the same models folder like the normal cards and that can also be found in the models.lst file (the database file for your personal collection) or as separate entities not part of the normal collection maybe even stored in different folders.

The reason for me not upgrading at this time is not $$$ its because..
I am happy to be catering to folks who may be experimenting with OpenGL
to remix their code on an independent convenient free platform
without too much demand on their system & still do it in an entertaining way.

I can select shaders that should run as originally intended on, lets say, the 'average' PC.

Its a bit sad that apart from ones you've done, not much remixing of these shaders seems to get posted here yet, but they are all Creative Commons share alike, so I continue to live in hope.. that someday more of that will happen.

Even when screen 3 is specified in full screen, there are times when it appears on a different screen. Especially the scene where you ride a swing.

Have you gone to "Collection" and seen the "My Playlists" in the menu? It should be there next to "All" and "Special Event Card". There you find a tile with a big + in it (create a new playlist). When you click on it you will have an option to import an old playlist. I have no old playlists to test it for you, but try if that works for you.

If the menu item is not there, maybe you can try to create a new playlist by right clicking on a card and choose "Add to..." and create a new playlist. I don't know, maybe that ***** the menu item to show up.

Here is an update to my Starz4 scenes
I added two 3D SBS scenes Specifically for 8K in Portrait Layout

Using the Virtual Monitor Application, create an 8K size Screen and Setting it in Portrait Orientation
Then using VR Desktop Streamer for the Quest VR headset ( I have both the Quest 2 and a Quest 3 ) tested on both.

Took a bit of Fiddling with Virtual Desktop to get the 2nd screen to be the primary.

It's twice as tall in VR.
I only wish More Models didn't walk so far left and right.
Pole and Cage Clips work great because the models don't wonder off the side.

Best product imo would be gotten by totally dismissing the 2.0 project and getting back to update the 1.2.55, which (unlike 2.0) is both graphically and functionally almost perfect.
As an exemple, the right-click system could much preferably be added to the old detail page with separate pages, instead of replace it

It is wrong that something that was not a problem in the previous version is a problem in the new version.
Users are paying to use it.
It would have been nice if they had received sufficient testing or added features that users wanted, but it is unfortunate.

After the 2.0 update, no scenes appeared on the screen.
I couldn't figure out what the problem was, but I figured it out on my own.
It turned out that the problem occurred when the resolutions of each monitor were different.
Even though the resolution of the monitor being played was different from the other resolutions, it was playing in a hidden part of the visible screen because it was trying to play in the same location.
It wasn't a problem in the previous version, so I deleted 2.0 and came back to the previous version.
I can't go back until it is fixed.

Through All of the Alpha and Beta Testing, even if that was just a small pool of users,
it was deemed stable enough to release it to everyone.

The more diverse the users are, the more Issues that can be exposed and corrected.
All the more Suggestions for wanted features or missing features will be collected.

So maybe it's frustrating and New and Different and feels clunky and unfriendly at 1st..

Yes, I don't understand. Ever since version 2.0 was released in beta and is now stable, I've seen a constant stream of complaints from dissatisfied users.

It's obvious that the Totem team is stubbornly sticking with a version that isn't user-friendly, since time and again many people don't understand how it works, and lament the loss of certain useful functions in older versions. I'm not sure that the “right-click is your best friend” idea is a good one?

It seems that not all the bugs have been fixed, and that Totem has decided to make it a stable version all the same.

Personally, I'm very happy with my old version, which works just fine. I have no desire to migrate, reading all the negative things written about it.

In any case, Totem's other products (SEC, jeux de hazard, NFT and Ex Card), which have led to these increasingly complex version changes, only serve to spend credits unnecessarily. And credits are money. At least for me.

Haven't been spending much time with IS lately but got a new computer a few weeks back and today I installed 2.0 and it's **definately** not for me!

Assuming I can find an older version can I just install it over 2.0 or should I uninstall? (PC version)

Can't play individual clips. Keeps locking up and crashing. Jerky and slow. If I want a preview clip I will click on it. Do not need unpurchased to keep showing up. Very frustraiting upgrade.

Just found individual clips. You right click on the card and a menu appears and the clips link is near the bottom. Unfortunatly the clip menu is in the center of the screen and is covered up by the model.

Perhaps I should just wait for the next update and hopefully the programmers wiz gurus will address and fix the problems that many have been displeased about. This is the worst update in what has been very functionable pleasing UI with istripper 😐

Right click on card, select edit clips to see clip list, double click clip to play, click on dots to add clip to queue

I reported a 2.0 bug in discord. Seems the app is not updating automatically. If I synchronize server the cards show up in my collection the day of release.

I am quite happy with the new version. It did take me a while to figure out how it worked. I especially like customizing the theme option, it would also be nice if you could save/create a theme. You will need to update the guide on your Help Center, that would help people to know where to look for things they enjoyed in previous versions. It would be nice customize the color of the shadow filter in the graphic render too, I remember having this option long ago in previous versions. Istripper sure has come a long way since the old Virtuagirl days. Thank you for all the creative efforts through out the years!

In older version, there was a menú option to see all the previews you have downloaded. Where are the previews in the new version? Could not find it anywhere!

Yes, a linux client would be much appreciated.

So I had to uninstall completely iStripper from my main OS (linux). I Stripper works partially on wine (transparency on the shows don't works, fullscreen shows works, videos don't play, oldest shows don't works). I still have windows on the computer but it is totally secondary.
As the iStripper library take fastly an enormous amount of space, I share it between the two OS instead of having it two times. The only way to do that is via widows' ntfs as windows works only with himself. It was working perfectly with 1.2. Unfortunately it don't works anymore with 2.0 : result on iStripper instantly crashing.

I, too, see the three weekend cards as released on 2/20/2025.
Since I don't live in Paris, I am off by half a day anyway.

I just tried something that might help you.
Open your collection and then open play list
Make/add a play list for the category you want.
I opened my collection "all" and picked a category.
I used the keyboard "control A" and it selected all the cards (now they are shaded/highlighted)
I then right clicked one card.
add to play list

this worked for me.

Sorry, but it's not easier to access.

First of all it's hidden, you have no more dedicated page. You have to right click card and then click again and so it will be opened only a terrible small popup window which:
1. slows down animations while is opened (and I keep clip list opened during all time I play cards...)
2. Is very small, so you can see only few clips listed and you have to continually scroll. Unlikely the old version, you can never get a full vision of the whole list. Not functional at all.

You (and others) quoted the fact in old version the list function had to be activated. But this is for me not even an argument in favor of new version. Once you had done that just 1 time, the function was always active, so no bother at all.

Moreover... in order to get the list, on old versions you have to click on card (1) then click on the list icon (2) (and so you get a beautiful and user-friendly full page list).
On new version 2.0 you have to right click card (1) then click the list function (2) and you get the small list in a popup.
You practically need same amount of clicks both on old version and new one in order to get the list...
So, another argument which I heard several times in favour of new versions' list (less clicks), has no real value.

Also when you went into the card, you had a list of all the clips, and could select which clip you wanted to watch. This is now no longer there?

Actually, the list of clips is there and it is easier to access..

in previous version you had to Enable it 1st in the advance setting.

Then to See it, you had to go to the cards Details page, then click on the Icon for the List of clips..

in 2.0, It is already enabled.
in the collection view, just right click on the card and select edit clips

It also works in the details view, but you Don't HAVE to go to that view to see the list of clips.

It works in the Playlist too.

As well as also wishing for the return of the previews page like others, as I often made more purchases though that than checking daily for new cards.

Il doit bien y avoir des utilisateurs satisfaits de cette nouvelle version car perso j'ai du mal à croire que les équipes chez iStripper soient aussi inconscientes voire stupides à publier une version qui perdrait en ergonomie et en stabilité.

Les indécis comme moi ont besoin de faire une évaluation de ce qui fonctionne et de ce qui ne fonctionne pas pour se décider.
