Hi there, I just noticed when I looked at the coming soon tab Sirena Milano..
when I looked at the details tab and what other shows of her are coming I noticed a SEC with the title Cherry Blossom Time .. It looks very Nice but next to the picture of this show it read : No longer available !!
Did I missed something somewhere or is this just another Bug ??

Wow... That really was the issue - I blanked the value "12510" from registry as you instructed and now everything looks as it should: the stars are there on SEC (current style, not old) and also the other watermarks are updated as they should.

I know what your issue is.
When you downloaded the software, You must have added a Hyphen followed by a name or a number
to the file you saved.

Then you used this Hyphenated Setup file to Install it.
For example: I often save them like this.
setup-iStripper-12510.exe

But I make a copy of this and rename it just to
setup-iStripper.exe
and I install from that copy.

WHY?
the Hyphenated part on the End is Used to Create a Partner version using a different set of Graphics
Including the Tags used on the card.

If the Partner Folder that Matches the Hyphenated Name, can't be Found
it uses a different set of Stickers ( grabbed from the server ).

and Clear out the value in the Key

Issue Solved.

About my posts regarding wrong or missing stars on SEC and wrong / old-style watermarks on even the latest released cards: this doesn't seem to be related to this new beta version 1.2.510 since I have the same problem also with at least 1.2.360 and 1.2.378. And I might be the only one ***** from all this.

So, if mods think those posts should be moved to some other thread, that's fine by me.

I also just opened a ticket with support trying to describe the issue.

Thank you for your help in this. My registry is pointing to the correct data-folder, so that checks out. Also I do have all the six image files and their file dates are same as yours (November 8, 2022). Just in case, however, I replaced my same six files with the ones you had zipped, but it didn't change things.

One funny thing I noticed is that after I had reverted back to 1.2.360, I couldn't select basic skin at all. In Settings/Change Skin the basic-skin wasn't selectable (same thing with some other skins as well) even though the folder was present as before (...vghd\data\skins\iStripper\basic). When I changed back to this new beta, basic-skin was selectable again. I will have to check again, whether both software versions have the same paths...

My star tags (those 9 that are left) are all on the top right corner whereas they apparently should be on the left as in your video. For example, on the card of Niemira's only SEC the star is covering the card number in my collection.

I noticed that you have a file called "watermarks.txt" in your "...skins\iStripper\basic\cards\watermarks"-folder. I don't have such a file. Is that possibly a file that software is reading from or is it something unrelated to this issue?

And then I have those vertical "iStripper" and "iStripperXXX" stickers on every card (seems to be from "deskbabes_2016.png" and "virtuagirl_2016.png"). Every single e-series card in my collection, including the very latest releases, show that vertical iStripper-logo on top-left (red "i", black "Stripper"). except those few early ones that have Marc Dorcel-logo there. For f-series, cards f0001-f0127 have "iStripperXXX" horizontally on bottom-left. All the rest have the vertical "iStripperXXX" on top-left.

A very very ***** thing.

The text on the initial splash screen that says "the girls are fitting into their skirts" is a very odd way of expressing it.

More normal would be a phrase like "the girls are getting into their skirts" or "the girls are putting on their skirts",

I think it may be a matter of things not being cached until you have first looked at them, I have only used to Featured page to go to some other page but although the first time I followed a link in the News section it was slow if I went back to the featured page and followed the same link it was very quick.

That might not be the optimum way to handle this.

When I click on any of the news items in the Beta version it takes 5 seconds or more to load and show the related page. When I do this in the current version it is almost instant.

The entire UI in the new version is blurry for me.

Probably because I use a high resolution natively and upscale to have bigger fonts via the Windows slider.

Is there any way to get rid of that problem?

Thanks guys. I love swing clips. I have 338 swing shows and 176 still to collect. As well as going around in a Carousel together, each girl has her own unique motion to make it look more random/windy. I tried to make the clip name look like it is curved around the balloon but it's not quite right. If I ever have time, I would extract the background balloons from their shader and use a more detailed landscape shader for the background instead. The motions of the girls in their clips are quite different - the swings are sometimes different heights and sometimes they swing side to side so getting the swing top end to stay behind the balloon but not wanting the models head to go behind the balloon is a playoff. The longest swing I've found so far is



If you play that one you'll see she's very low on the screen.

Although I normally run with the GUI at its maximum size but sometimes, depending on what I am doing with the GUI, I run it with a smaller window (e.g. to compare what I see in My Collection with something in another window).

Currently the program's minimum window size is larger than I would prefer as it is wider than half my laptop's screen width. Could you please consider allowing us to use a smaller GUI window - even if this was at the expense of overlapping texts in the header line.

Well even with the Beta Version my Problems still exist, the Tabs "Featured, Events, VR and Forum are empty and do not load.
Also do the Credit and Profile Tabs not work.
And dont tell me my ISP is blocking this Stuff, all this works fine over the Browser, without a VPN.

I found the last (most recently released) glass card not in my collection is Vanessa Alessia's last card, a SEC released late July 2022.

I had always hoped that some day we would be able to define our own carousels - perhaps as a way of displaying the contents of a short playlist (or even a long one with girls getting on and off the carousel at its furthest point).

At times I used to use them as a kind of roulette game by holding down a left or right arrow key to make the carousel spin rapidly, releasing the key and then playing the card that came to the front.

Yes, it was something dynamic in the program, which could have been better exploited and improved.

There are some useful and pleasant program options that disappear in the updates, and I find this deplorable.

I would be surprised if a large number of people in the survey about changes to the program asked for the disappearance of the carousels.

Even the appearance of the giants by mistake was comical.

I did notice that this new UI has a lot in common with vixen networks. Might just the way websites are organized today but I hope there is more collab between the more popular porn sites and istripper to get more diversity of models.

Thanks for that information! I have also a folder "...vghd\data\skins\basic\cards\watermarks" for the basic skin, and also 20 folders + 20 files in it. All the subfolders in "...vghd\data\skins\basic\cards\watermarks" have last edit date in Windows Explorer as May 17th 2023 (probably because I just switched to that) and all the 20 image files in that folder have last edit date as November 8th 2022.

Some of the 20 image files are named as *exclu.png, *star.png and *etoile.png. Those are the ones containing the star with iS or iS xxx -logos. Why the software doesn't use them for all SEC, I don't know...

EDIT: for what it's worth, I reverted back to 1.2.360 and the same issue remains (regardless of the skin I select, as I tested with a few). I don't know / remember if that issue was there before updating to the new beta. Maybe I had just missed that OR maybe it appeared because of the update... but why it only affects some of the SEC (and curiously just the first ones of the e- and f-series) and not all, is interesting.

Odd that installing the new version did not get back the missing files and folders.

I cannot even use the new version. Still using 12376.

However, in my folder "C:\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\SexyGirls\data\skins\iStripper\basic\cards\watermarks", there are twenty folders and twenty files for a total of forty items.

note: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is not my real computer user name but replaces a folder that I created specifically for all files I get from the internet or create.

I was using a skin called "Belka - Booty in Leather", but switching back to basic skin didn't correct the issue, even after quitting iStripper and starting again after that change. Also, that particular skin doesn't have watermarks sub-folder. The whole content of that skin folder is this:

• description.txt
• desktop.jpg
• img_left.jpg
• palette.txt
• skinThumbnail.png

The strange thing is that there are no custom card images for any of my SEC. My only custom pictures in the ../vghd/data-directory are for deleted shows in my collection (***** O'Fee, Nikky Case...). All the SEC-cards have regular card image without the added layers of "iStripperXXX" / "iStripper" or the star-symbol, and they are named simply e1387.jpg, e1416.jpg (these two examples being the first e-series SEC in my collection missing the star-symbol).

I even named the card image on vghd/data/e1387-folder to "xe1387.jpg --> then closed and quit the software and opened it again --> synchronised with server. And still the card image shows as before even though it is named differently.

A few minutes later I noticed that e1387.jpg was downloaded to the above folder (so that there is now both e1387.jpg and xe1387.jpg). These cards are identical and in software it still shows without the star-symbol. The "new" e1387.jpg was therefore just downloaded from somewhere and it still has no effect on the issue.

Quite a head scratcher... But I think this is something not to get too stuck with. Whenever the new final version of the software is released, this probably is already fixed and if not, I'll bring it up again.

Hi, can you please do the following: Install the new beta but don't launch it. Go into your data folder (by default, C:/Users/[your_user]/AppData/vghd/data) and find "vghd.log" and remove it. Launch iStripper. Wait for it to crash and note the exact time. Go into Windows "Event Viewer" and see if you can see anything related to iStripper at that time (most probably in the "Windows Logs => Applications" section). Send me (e.g. via Manue at the support or directly on discord if you're using it) your vghd.log, anything you may have noticed in the Windows Events Viewer, as well as the exact time the crash happened (please include your time zone with it) so I can take a look at it on our end.

I get a "DesktopWare / Istripper has stropped working" message.
I tried this a few times and every time is the same.

Version 12376 still works for me.
Something has changed that makes i impossible for me to use this version. It may be totally incompatible with Windows 8.1

I will write about this and send screenshots in the discord beta thread.

Skins still work.

Not all of them.

They have changed something so that the colours defined in the Pallet.txt file are not the same.

I have at least one skin where the menu bar text is not visible because the background is not dark (but it is dark in the current non-beta version).

I am also having difficulty with some of the text in the forums in some skins.

Some still appear to work OK - but not all of them.

I need to work out what has changed but I don't have the time at the moment. Hopefully it will be fixed,

I appreciate that the cards are larger in Models individual page, they look good, accept they have been defaced by the "In my collection" banner across all of them. Why can't the cards just be separated into 2 categories with "In my collection" only having to be mentioned once.

Like @pickle1 all of my 32 SECs have their gold stars clearly visible.

Strange... I have synchronised with servers a couple of times, closed and quit the software, and still the same thing. I have 51 SEC and 9 of them have those stars in the corners. 42 of them look like regular cards.

Of course this is not important, just a curious thing the developers might want to know about. Probably will be corrected for me, too, later.

I haven't downloaded this new beta version. And I plan to wait, and don't know if I will. I'm not convinced of the real improvement of these changes.
