Cherry2000,
I feel the same way you do. There is a provision in the rules to address this. Any girl on the ladder can challenge the girl above her. Unfortunately, only the person who gets to choose the challenger can pick this scenario, so it's never happened. If I were to choose a challenge, I would have Melissa challenge Maya. I'm just highlighting this rule to make people aware of it because I want to see it happen from time to time.
Because this process sounds so tedious, I propose a new rule where we can challenge a girls placement on the ladder.
How this would work:
I'm a Bella fan, so I challenge Alyssia's placement. Bella then automatically challenges Alyssia. If Alyssia wins, the challenge is over, but if Bella wins, Eve Angel automatically challenges Alyssia, etc... The same as it works now, but in reverse.

I have a suggestion for the rules just because the list is getting so long, and remember it's just a suggestion there is no need to be rude or nasty. A no works just as well as a rant. I propose that any dancer that has a card featured in the top 20 worst rated cards be removed from the list because they entered the competition too early and would not be in the position they currently hold if it wasn't for dumb luck. Silver for example is one of the worst rated dancers on the site and yet she is ahead of such stunners as Melisa, Ariel, Eve Angel, Miela, Kami, Ana Tatu, Aria Giovanni, Jana Cova etc. There is no way if we started her at the bottom of the ladder right now that she would rise to her current position. If you disagree let's give it a try and you can prove me wrong. In the interest of keeping the competition more scientifically valid I propose Silver either be removed from the list or reentered because 4 of her cards are the lowest rated on VG.
