I recently saw an iStripper ad saying that it has over 24 million users. Let's say as few as 10% of those accounts are active, each of those 2.4 million users were given one lottery ticket by default. If none of those users obtained any additional tickets, then accumulating 240 tickets would have given only a 1 in 10,000 chance of winning. The odds get significantly worse if (a) more than 10% of the accounts are active, (b) those users got additional tickets themselves, (c) I had fewer than 240 tickets. I certainly hoped to win something, but that simple math kept my expectations pretty low.

However, congratulations to the winners! Sadly, poor @blaze65 will no longer have the fun of trying to determine which cards to buy in 2020. (Aren't those ***** purchasing decisions half the fun?) Our condolences go out to him. 😰😀

To everyone else (includingh me) - better luck next time. It was a lottery so it doesn't matter how many tickets the winners bought (I had 35 by the way) - it is pure luck. Buying more tickets merely improves the odds - but when you consider that there are 2 million subscribers to iStripper the odds are pretty long....and some of these guys have 4,500+ cards so think what they have spent.

But it was fun playing the games and I did pick up 5 special event cards, around 6 free cards and a lot of other cards at very good prices. I'm nearly a diamond member now.

Hier nun die Antwort auf die zweite Frage.

Von den Karten lassen sich Backups herstellen.
Hierzu ist es notwendig die Karte aus dem Ordner "data" und aus dem Ordner "models" zu sichern.

Jede Karte hat eine CardID. Diese besteht aus einem Buchstaben (a bis f) und einer vierstelligen Zahl.

Beispiel: e0167

Der Buchstabe "e" steht hier für die Karten der Serie E, die seit Ende 2014 erstellt werden.
Die vierstellige Zahl "0167" ist die Kartennummer innerhalb der Serie. Auf der Karte (Bild) wird diese ohne führende Nullen dargestellt.

Wenn du ein Backup von der Karte hast, dann kann diese Karte wiederhergestellt werden.

Dazu ist die Software von iStripper zu schließen.

Der Ordner mit den Dateien (vghd und demo-Dateien) in den Ordner "models" zu kopieren".
Der Ordner mit den dateien (Bildern) in den Ordner "data" zu kopieren.

Solltest du die Bilder zu dieser Karte nicht besitzen, dann läßt sich diese Karte aber trotdem abspielen.

Die Software iStripper ist nun zu starten.

Damit die hinzugefügten Dateien von derv Software erkannt werden, muß nun ein Rebuild der Sammlung durchgeführt werden.
Hierzu gehst du in die Einstellungen (Zahnradsymbol).
Aktivierst die erweiterten Einstellungen.
Klickst auf das Feld für die "Sammlung neu aufbauen".

Der Aufbau der Sammlung kann etwas Zeit beanspruchen. Dieses ist abhänging von der Anzahl der Karten abhängig.

Wenn du kein Backup hast, dann kannst du erst einmal versuchen die Karte herunterzuladen.
Sollte es nicht möglich sein, denn von einigen Karten sind die Dateien (vghd und demo-Dateien) nicht mehr auf dem Server vorhanden, dann kannst du diese Karten über den Kundendienst zurückgeben.

Wichtiger Hinweis:
Wenn du die Karten zurückgibst, dann hast du keine Möglichkeit mehr diese Karte abzuspielen.
Auch wenn du später einmal das Backup von dieser Karte finden solltest, dann kannst du diese Karten nicht mehr abspielen.

There is a possibility to find all cards that are no longer available from the catalog (Girls Store).

Click on the "My Collection" tab.
Disable all sub filters of main filter "Display".
Activate all sub-filters for all remaining main filters.

Click in the main filter "Release date". Deactivate all subfilters with a year.
Only the sub-filter "Unknown" must be activated.

The cards now displayed are the cards that are no longer available.

NOTE for users who bought the advent calendar:
One or two cards from the Advent calendar can be displayed. These cards are already visible here before the release date.

There is a simpler way to search only for the cards that are no longer available. The following search string can only find the cards that are still known today.

Select one of the search strings and copy it into the search box.

When making purchasing decisions I like to queue up a bunch of model previews and determine which ones really get me going. Sometimes these previews download fine, and other times the preview gets "***** up" where it will just stay at a certain percentage for a long period of time even if nothing else is downloading, they do eventually unfreeze and continue but I was wondering if there was something I could do to make these previews finish up faster, or prioritize certain ones? I don't want to spend hours looking at previews, I just want to be able to check out a few models and pick the ones I want to buy.

Use the My Collection/Release Date filter and have only the "Unkown" item ticked. I suppose it is possible that there could be other reasons for an unknown date, but as far as I know there are none at the moment.

For the 1528 card, I can exactly tell what has been updated, as I contacted support because of that:
When you compare the picture quality of the demo clips her cards 1530 & 1532 (both are Crystal Clear rated). For me 1532 has been greatly improved the Quality to a really good one, it's in my collection. But for 1530 even Quality has been improved, it still having really bad quality, so I denied to buy.
While the 1528 card had their demo clips in the Quality of 1532, but only those. All the others were in Quality of 1530. So I contacted support, and a few days later all the clips were updated to have the good quality of 1532 ;-)

For me by the way, I would really appreciate something like a updated card history list. Something simple like a always updated list with just the date, card name, and short update description would be enough.
So I could check, which cards have been updated recently, and what has been updated.
As for me, Cards which have from my opinion a not good enough quality, I won't buy at all, regardless I like the show or model. I even disable such cards in my collection, if I received them somehow. And they can never be found in my wishlist (of course).
While there are several of those cards, that I refused to buy because of quality. In the meanwhile I noticed by some of them, that their quality have been improved alot in the meanwhile. Which of course is nice and also tells me, that older cards regularly are updated with quality improvements.
But in regular I don't notice those update, except by luck.
A good example are the card of Erica Fontes. All released during the same time period in 2014. Today as marked as Standard Quality. But few cards have been updated with impressive Quality update and are rated today as Cristal Clear. The other cards not (yet?). But there would be updated maybe some more of them in the future. I maybe will never take note of it.

My second question: Is there a guide for dummies like me on saving the cards that are no longer in the catalog?

If I have to reinstall iStripper after a new Windows installation, what happens to the cards? iStripper says, that the card i bought belongs to me. Do I get a refund in credits?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I did search through the forum and didn't find answers to my above questions.

aww man I'm done... I wonder how many tickets the winner had. I was at 254 but I knew I wasn't even going to win a Joker card with only a single 250 credits reward after spending 4500 credits on the slot machine. With so many people saying the high reward drop rate was so good this year I kind of feel like it's rigged x-x

I had the same problem @boan000 by the customer service, as a premium member, where after two weeks without response, I had to open a new ticket, just for him to answer me. Very short answer, precisely in connection with SEC cards.

At the point where I wondered if I was not made to wait voluntarily, because I had denounced the SEC card policy.

Before that I had quick answers.

J'ai eu le même problème @boan000 par le service à la clientèle, en tant que membre premium, où après deux semaines sans réponse, j'ai dû ouvrir un nouveau ticket, juste pour qu'il me réponde. Réponse très courte, justement en lien aux cartes SEC.

Au point où je me suis demandé si on ne me faisait pas attendre volontairement, parce que j'avais dénoncé la politique des cartes SEC.

Avant cela j'avais des réponses rapides.
