Actually it would be:

The app doesn't recognize 'hd' customs in the a or c series nor from the earlier e or f series and doesn't have the 'full.png' for the d series at all.

I make both 'hd' and non-hd customs for every one I do regardless of the series letter but I don't think the app recognizes the older ones in 'hd'.

In fact I just renamed a few of my 'a' series custom png's to 'fullhd' from just 'full' and then restarted the app and the app no longer recognizes them and reverts to the standard clothed png from Totem.

I still do both since some members have smaller resolution screens and asked me to keep doing the 900 pixel versions which fit their monitors better. Especially if they are also using a custom skin which takes up some space on the left of the screen. But I think they would have to rename the smaller 'full' png's to 'fullhd' to get the app to recognize them in the later e and f series cards.

I wish I had a way of knowing just when Totem switched from 900 to 1500 pixels but I think it was about the time that the app changed to allow for 'premium' members and 4k cards, whenever that was.

I know this might be a dumb question, im trying to look for my answer but i just cant find it so. I'm trying to put my custom png onto my cards to get the look of what everyone has^^^^ but everytime i save to file or relpace to original one in the models folder it just gets replaced with the original one istrpper put on. Im missing something so if someone could tell me I would be very thankful haha ive been wanting to customize my istripper for a while haha

@pickle1 It's not the first time there has been such an offer, so - even if I did not partecipate today, I can tell you that, other times, it worked like so:

• in each offered pack there was (if I remember well) at least a card from your wishlists, and sometimes two;
• first packs you did buy tended to include more cards from wishlist than other ones.

Interestingly - the three cards in the pack I am being offered contain the two cards I had in my Wishlist - so this looks like my first pack is targeted specifically to me. Can anyone confirm that they are seeing cards from their wishlists - because it would seem a good time to fill up my wishlist so I can get them all with 10% off. And then the next question is - would the free pack also contain wishlist cards?

The cost for this card for a triple diamond member is 16.5 credits. With premium you pay 13.2 credits. So everything is right with your prize.

This card, like several others with special costumes, has a higher than normal nominal price.

Need to correct my earlier question. I was actually charged 13.2 credits not 13.75

I am a premium member with a full collection of all shows. I just purchased the Eva Elfie card and was charged 13.75 credits. I did not receive my premium member discount. If this is considered a "special" card voiding the discount I think it should have been pointed out to members.

@2scompanyinjax - as a long time member with a large collection you should by now have been aware that for most (not not quite all) TGIFs the most recent card (normally the last 45 days I think) are not included.

However, I think that is very remiss of Totem not to say this when they announce the offers. It always seems to catch someone out who then reports it here - and probably many more who do not.

Okay, I figured it out. This is ***** for those of us who own all of the cards. I can't see a "Pack" on my Featured page because new cards are not included in the packs. On my side, it just reads enjoy your new cards. So, I thought it was buy three cards, get one free. Not three Packs and get a Pack free.

Nope, not free :( I guess the new cards don't count. They should indicate which cards count somewhere. I'll submit as a problem ticket and see if they clarify or credit my account.

Yes they are just ordinary cards - for me that makes having them associated with some specific event more important as it is the only excuse for having them at all.

@TheEmu My opinion, as I already did point more times, is that there really never has been any special card nor a special event. There are just ordinary cards which for marketing reasons we are not allowed to buy.
In any case, what would really matter for me would be getting a clear and sure path in order to get the exclusive card, at least in the first week after its release - as it has been done in some cases.
About your point 1, and other ones I didn't quote, there is not a real disagreement - I just find them not so relevant for me.

Can you clarify why you disagree with "Make it clear what event a special event card is associated with" - i.e. mention the event in the announcement accompanying the release. This was not done for this last event and we had to guess what the event was.

@kaiju - If you are going to think about the special event cards then here is a list of thing that I would like to see taken in consideration.

1) Make it clear what event a special event card is associated with. Preferably it should still be clear what was being celebrated years after the event itself.

2) Make the cards themselves have some relevance to the event they celebrate. Preferably via the costumes or accessories, but at the very least by its name.

3) If at all possible make the cards, or rather the performances, themselves be special.

4) During the period of the special event itself there should preferably be some way of being certain to obtain the card by participating in that event. The advent calendars provide a good example of this.

5) Only some time after a special event should it be possible to win its associated card via a gambling game or by direct purchase. To do otherwise detracts from the idea of a special event.

6) If possible make it "feel better" to obtain a card by participating in its associated special event than by obtaining it via a secondary route (gambling game or direct purchase).

7) Don't offer them too often otherwise they cease to be special. I think one a month would be far too often, one every two or three months feels better to me.

There is nothing special about most of these "special event cards" except that they can't simply be purchased.

There does not even seem to be any event, special or otherwise, associated with the current SEC (the one started on Feb 21 and which I expect will end in a couple of hours time). At least with the previous SECs there was something being celebrated by the SEC with this one the only thing I can think of is that the SEC is marking is the release of itself - a recursive celebration. (such logic may provide an adequate excuse for a party, but that is about all). Maybe it was intended to mark the start of carneval - but I can not remember any mention of it.

Welcome to a long and occasionally heated discussion. Many of us agree with you. There is nothing special about most of these "special event cards" except that they can't simply be purchased. Totem seems to think these are a useful source of revenue. That may be the case. I'm trying to pretend they don't exist.

theres an option if using credit card to swith billing companys, netbilling or epoch.
I trried netbilling for a week and manue even asked me to try netbilling. no luck.
changed it to epoch...boom.... hello 4K!

i can also understand that i only get special cards with Gamble without an event. However, Reveal the odds of winning. I'm convinced that totems change their odds every time they play scratch gems. If the totem reveals the probability, it will say fair.

If the odds are low, people won't participate, and they won't be angry even if they won't win. I think the totem will also assign appropriate odds to increase profits.
