What ever happened to the slow motion function??

It needs to be activated.
Go to settings, and put a check mark to advanced.
Scroll down to 'Controls'.
You will see:
Add the item to the contextual menu (right click on model).
Choose this item for left mouse click on model. This replaces a previous selection.
