People have "won" cards in auctions for bids ranging from 357 Dolz to 81001 Dolz. That's from about $4.50 upwards.

You can resell them on the secondary market for ~ 3 times their price.

As NFT's the owner can sell them in the secondary market if they wish. Sale prices can fluctuate - you may lose.... but you may gain. There is no guarantee of being able to sell them for ~3 time what you paid.

Hey Emu! Yes, I‘ve tried leaving progressive hotness unchecked as well. The app then just choses random clips from any level to fill the pre set time.

At the very least Totem should be able to play the clips in something like the following order

All of the Pole clips
All of the Cage clips
All of the Swing clips
All of the Edge Of Screen clips
All of the Glass clips
All of the Standing clips
All of the Table clips

while, in each case, using Progressive Hotness to order the clips within each clip type - and they can probably do something better than that.

This should preferably be accompanied by that other oft requested feature, the ability to enable/disable the individual clip types (Recently Celine has stated that this is on the To Do list, which is long awaited acknowledgement of the request).

Thank you for reporting that. I've managed to reproduce the bug and identified a problem in our packaging for the 64-bit version regarding the bonus video. We'll look at it ASAP.
The videos should be working fine with the 32-bit version, although I can appreciate it would be quite a hassle to keep switching version just to watch a video...

I cannot play the video bonus in the software with the new 1.2.520 64bit version.

I never had this issue with the 32bit versions. I'm using Windows 11 64bit.

The forum is displayed in english instead of french with 1.2.520 64bit and my personal dark skin is not applied to the UI of the forum.

Please rest assured, this has been identified and fixed. The problem occurs when installing the 1.2.520 over the existing 1.2.378. The current workaround is to uninstall iStripper and re-install the 1.2.520 directly, but the bug has been corrected on our end, and from version 1.2.522 onwards, the switch from version 1.2.378 to 1.2.522 will not cause this problem to occur again.

Hey thanks! This could just be the solution for my problem: I could generate a playlist with @Dorsai6 's Playlist generator and then play the .vpl file with Starryks playlist manager. That should theoretically work, as the Playlist manager still can read .vpl files. I had set it to "entire collection", which doesn't work beacuse of the new structure of the models.lst file.

Yes, but then iStripper would fill the preset time with several clips of the same level. This especially happens with the older Deskbabes cards, where there are cards that have a lot of very short, someteimes only 30 seconds clips.

As it is now, vanilla sometimes does exactly that, especially with the newer cards and with the right duration, but with older cards you either only get one eroticism level (long individual clips) or several of the same level (short individual clips).

Just updated from 1.2.378 to 1.2.520 (32 bit) all good so far!😀

I noticed three problems with the English text of the licencing terms that are now displayed by the installer1. There was a section labelled GRPD which should be GPRD2. In that section I saw several unknown character glyphs (question marks in a black diamond) displayed where there should be apostrophes. I suspect that acute accents may have been used instead of apostophes.3. Right at the end there was another unknown character glyph - this time I think it was supposed to be a copyright sign.

I'm running into an issue with the newest update on OS X. The problem is with the "hit box" of the show, where in past versions I was able to click directly on the model to increase the size, now the area to click takes up the entire lower right quarter of my screen, even when not clicking on the model at all.

Hi, that's a known bug on MacOS that has taken us a long time to look into and we still couldn't find a fix for it. The recommended way on MacOS is to use the GPU mode from now on, which should incidentally be smoother as well than CPU mode. Please let me know whether you encounter any problems with GPU mode.

I have experienced an issue, where downloaded and active preview clips are not being stored in the UI. Once it is shut off then reinitialized, the previews disappear. They are still stored on the system, they have to be reselected everytime the program restarts.

That's a known bug indeed, previews randomly disappear when restarting (not systematic but happens often enough)

Maybe I'm imagining things but when I tested with a Full Screen scene with five standing/pole clips running simultaneously with camera zooming in and out and moving around the performers ("xu_-Fantasy House 5" -scene), it seems to run smoother than it did before 👍Most often I run only one performer at a time, so maybe in my typical use it doesn't really matter if it is 32bit or 64bit(?)

You're not imagining things, that's one the benefits of the 64-bit version :)

Hi,
Very sorry about this inconvenience you encountered. By default, iStripper should run in silent mode and you shouldn't see any splashscreen or main window when running it from startup, only the icon in the system tray (tested it just now on my end to confirm, however Celine did encounter the same problem as you did).
As for how to change iStripper running at startup, there's a much easier option than going into your registry, you can simply untick the box in the settings (see attached screenshot), and this will have the same effect.
Once again, apologies for this unfortunate experience.

As of the last beta, my Playlist Generator had a flaw. It was hard coded for only one version of the models.lst file. I posted a patch that fixes the problem in the Bugs and Fixes section, but I haven't uploaded a corrected version. With the new beta I need to test to see if there are any other problems before I upload a new version.

Thanks Wyldanimal, that's some helpful info. I just hope that Starryk will update his playlist manager, but I somehow doubt it, because he hasn't been active for quite some time.

I just find it frustrating that Totem, through all these updates, hasn't been able to actually improve the player functionality of the app. I just wonder that one user, that doesn't even have the source code, has been able to implement so many missing features. That shows that it should theoretically be possible to improve the player. But somehow this doesn't seem to be in the focus of Totem's development. Maybe the much hyped "iStripper 2.0" will have it? That's my hope.

Meanwhile I find the vanilla playmode of the app just frustrating ... no real striptease, the predefined time just gets dumped with random clips, even progressive hotness does cut off after the time has been filled with no-nudity or topless clips.

Thanks for the correction. I had to rely on my memory as I was not going to rerun the installer to check it.

In my work I have to deal with GDPR almost daily, and it has become a real nuisance... important thing, of course, but creating lots of complications. We have had to set up a new level of secure folders, create user groups who can and who can not access certain files, databases and indexes. Especially during holiday season having to make sure that there are always enough people of required clarifications at hand etc... I'm on my summer vacation right now, and this brings back too many things I want to forget for now, so I'll stop here 😀

By the way, you don't have to rerun the installer to check the license. Assuming you finished the installation, you can access the same text in Settings-tab of the software (near the end in "ABOUT"-section and the button "Show license")

If / when there is an Update / Change to the iStripper app.
any 3rd party apps, will have to Adapt to the changes in iStripper.

Over the Years, iStripper has made some accommodations to continue to allow
bi-Directional communication between the iStripper app and the 3rd party apps, Via the Registry and certain files in the data folder.

This has been very accommodating on the part of iStripper.

It is then up to the 3rd party app developer, to Maintain their app and adjust to the changes.

While iStripper does not document these changes, ***** things are easy to discover
and then the 3rd party app developer can tweak their app for the changes.

We, the 3rd party app developers are Not reverse Enginering the vghd.exe file.
we examine the structure of the Models.lst file, the Names.xml file, and the individual XML files in the data folders.
Some read and inventory the files in the Models Folders to get the list of clips.
We also exchange data through the Registry Keys that iStripper has Maintained that we can use.

If not for these files and registry Keys, 3rd Party apps would NOT exist.

It should also be noted that:
No Modification of the iStripper app is being done, and No Modification of the Files in the data folder is being done.

If you have both a Windows PC and a MAC
you would Install using the same iStripper Username and Password
you can share a common Networked Path with the same shared set of Models Folders.
But Each System should have it's own Local set of Data Folders.

By far the best way to avoid that embarassing situation is to not have iStripper auto-start when you switch on your PC and instead have to resort to the enormous effort of clicking on a desktop icon or item in the start menu so that you have complete control over when it runs.

Incidentally this also has the additional advantage that if you have a poor internet connection (possibly only a transient problem on a normally good connection) it greatly reduces the probability of there being a problem when you do run it.

I guess, I'm probably the only one who cares about this, but I post it here anyway: Why didn't we get a warning that the new iStripper versions will break third party tools like Starryks playlist manager? I would never have upgraded if I would have known this!

I'm sorry to say, but the vanilla iStripper player sucks!! It's so old and basic and there haven't been any new features for years! With vanilla I can't filter certain clips or let it play e.g. real progressive hotness, which follows the "eroticism" of a card (like 1 random clip no nudity, then 1 random clip topless, then 1 random clip nudity ...), which would simulate a real striptease. Instead we only get the option to define the length of each card that gets played and that's it.

I don't understand why advanced player features like what Starryks playlist manager offers haven't been implemented. Instead we only get cosmetic changes update after update. Of course I like the new look, but it doesn't offer any new functionality for the experience.

Sorry, I'm quite passionate about this, because I've been using Starryks player for like ages and now it just gets broken by yet another cosmetic update. Would have been nice to know this in advance.
