Hello bunnies!!!

We need your opinion on cryptocurrencies and NFT!😛

The market for NFTs and digital item collections is booming and we would love to know what you think about it.😊
Many thanks in advance for your input!💋

What I think is I'll delete this app if y'all go into NFTs. That garbage is a cancer. And it's already crashing so hard/being outlawed by entire countries. How can you think now is a good time to jump on the bandwagon?

I think maybe an innovation too far for Totem. Stick to what you know.
Special Event Cards/Gambling already cause enough grief for many.
If customers need cryptocurrencies in future to buy or some shows are only available as NFTs - I doubt that will be popular. Your survey might show different? How did the earlier one in April go when @Celine posted about this?

NFTs are all about "owning" something that is in the public domain. Since we can already buy an unrestricted licence to the shows, the number of people who would want a higher degree of ownership would be limited. Unlike NFTs for art, there is minimal prospect of resale at a profit. But, as with the outfit auctions, you only need a couple of people to bid the price up and it becomes worthwhile.

If Totem really wants this to be a revenue generator, some unique added value would help. It needn't cost anything to produce, just to be exclusive. For example, put a line on the card page "This show is owned by XXX", so eveybody can see who has paid for the NFT (iStripper pseudos only, I guess). Alternatively write the original recording (presumably a 2hr 6k video, with sound, director's instructions, the performer getting dressed between clips, etc.) onto a disc and post it, to give the buyer a feeling of ownership.

I agree with @BadPerson that cryptocurrencies are going to crash, when regulatory authorities finally get their brains round what to do about them, but NFTs are a separate thing. To me, they seem to be absolutely pointless, but they appear to have caught on with some people, so why not give it a try?

I started taking the survey and then deemed the questions invasive and personal.

I know about crypto and NFTs. I do NOT think they belong in Istripper.

I didn't think they were that personal - I think the survey is anonymous. Answered no to all I think.
Did not ask whether I was likely to jerk off more to a non-fungible token or naughty flexible teaser. 😆

So what happens when France or Ireland follow China's example and confiscate the crypto servers ?
Without infrastructure crypto dies along with the actual coin invested.

I don't know anything about cryptocurrencies and NFT.

There are too many changes to new technologies.

One of the only things I know is that cryptocurrencies are very energy intensive and ***** to the planet.

I would not take this survey. Because it's something I don't want to encourage.

For me it's a big NO.

Would you be interested in using cryptocurrencies in the iStripper ecosystem to redeem unique advantages (discounts, Special Event Cards...) and rare NFT collections?

Merci.

What do you plan to do? Would there be cards only available to those who have that currency?
Unique advantages on certain cards? There, I say: no. Do not create a division among the members, we already have the SEC for that.

Whether you introduce new products, I don't care but no cards that would be inaccessible to many of us. Thank you.

Lotta negative vibes here about NFTs

I remember when SMS first appeared, I couldn't see the point of typing out silly little messages on my phone, but then kids loved it and it took off. Likewise Facebook and Twitter - superficial brain-clutter for imbeciles, but then they took off. Cryptocurrencies are a danger to national economies, so governments will repress them, but NFTs are different.

An NFT is a certification that you, and you alone, own something. Other people can look at the thing (for example a photo on the web), but they can't own it. The certificate can't be faked or hacked (it's a blockchain thing, the technology is irrelevant).

So what? I ask myself. What's the point of owning a photo, when anybody can download it? Utterly stupid, like SMS or Twitter. Like losing $50 on gambling games, to see a film of a naked girl, when you can see a film the same girl naked for $2. Or spending $300 on a set of used lingerie, that you can only use for god-knows-what. People love it. It may be daft, but it sells.

So I think iStripper NFTs might work.

I ask this question:

If I buy an NFT from totem, would that be the rights of the model/show?
Does that mean I get the profits of all sales on this model/show?

totem gets my cash from the sale of the nft, then I get profits from any sales?
Am I understanding this correctly?

Si iStripper veut nous inciter à utiliser les cryptomonnaies, c'est très certainement pour réduire les coûts de transactions des achats de crédits autrement je n'y vois aucun intérêt.

Aller jusqu'à y associer des privilèges de cartes. 😕

Totem would retain the right to sell copies of your show - they retain full copyright. Thye're not going to pass on the right for you to sell copies in competition with them. You could still sell the NFT (if you could find a buyer), but nothing else and you wouldn't get a share in their revenues unless that was specifically included in the original sale. But they may be thinking of selling NFTs for other things, such as photos of the girls or "exclusive" videos. As I understand it, NFTs are about the joy of ownership (bragging rights?), not an investment in a revenue-generating product, unless it's an artwork where the NFT itself may appreciate.

@Sexy3DBoy

The trouble with cryptocurrencies is the volatility. Totem aren't going to pay a girl in euros and price in bitcoin, only to have bitcoin crash before the show has paid for itself. Also, as @ward says, cryptos are liable to get banned. They could offer a crypto price for those countries where potential customers can't access other currencies, but it would have to fluctuate according to the euro conversion rate. Maybe they're chasing those customers, but you can pay in euros so you wouldn't gain anything by it.

NFTs do not have to be used the way @Pantalone has described, though it is the way that has been commonly reported.

Perhaps it's best to regard them as registrations of ownership of something. That something, and the rights pertaining to it, can be whatever the seller wants them to be (as long as the seller has those rights in the first place).

In the NFT cases that have been most widely publicised those rights have been very limited (and have not included ownership of the copyright) but there is nothing inherent in the system that means that more extensive rights, including the copyright, can not be transfered. It should also be possible to use NFTs in a more restrictive way, e.g. by not givng you the right to pass on its ownership to anyone else - much like the way in which we can not pass on the right to play a card we have purchased. As Totem have not said how they are thinkng of using NFTs we can not know what they will entail.

When considering copyright ownership of an object, even of something like a painting that you have personally commisioned, does not grant you the copyright which by default is retained by its creator. By default you can't sell copies of a painting you have bought but the artist can. NFTs do not change this.

Crypto and NFT's are creating huge Wealth.
And the Smart person who Profits in Crypto or from the Sale of an NFT, would cash out the Crypto and exchange it for something tangible of real value, such as gold.
I have a friend who got started early in Crypto
He's running 40 crypto Nodes, that earn him $600 a day per node, or $2400 a day.
He's increasing his Node count every month, and by Years end will have 200 nodes
that's $120,000 a day.

I got wind of it too late in the game.
when he started a single Node cost $2000 to set up.
to day it's almost $7000 per node.

I kick myself in the arse to this day, for listening to my Finacial Adviser.
in 2011 I moved $10,000 in to bitcoin. it was valued at $3.20 at the time.
In one month it jumped, and my $10,000 was worth almost $100,000
then it started to fall and fall fast..
my Adviser said Sell now... I waited..
I said, no, all preditions are that It will Jump higher.
I held on...
every week my Adviser said Sell Sell Sell
I held out...
A month later it was worth less than I had paid..
and he finally convinced me to sell for a loss..
I only got $6,400, so I took a hit of $3,600

At the Time I sold, I had 3,125 bitcoins, and it had a value of $2.05 when I had him do the exchange.
I should have held on to it, and never sold it...

Today that 3,125 bitcoins would be worth $150,625,000

You can't go back... and you can't regret things you've done...
But I kick myself in the Arse for this one...

Crypto-currencies are mostly just a Ponzi scheme. They don't actually create wealth, in the sense that they don't make stuff or deliver services that real people can use. They just use up the planet's resources, so a few people can collect a lot of money. Plus some money landering, buying illegal products and avoiding taxes.

The same applies to gold - it's not much use for anything other than electrical connectors, but some folks want it because it's pretty. And the only value of NFTs is that they deliver an intangible feeling of pride, to some people.

All very superficial stuff and not much use in real life.

Crypto coins look tempting but they got so many varieties, you don't know which one is going to prevail. They claim they are secure just to get you into the game. You might get lucky and strike it rich but you can also lose all of it. There are countless stories of people losing their coin by losing a password, getting hacked themselves or through a crypto company. The owner of one founding crypto company took all the investors money and disappeared. No way to track or recuperate money for a lot of these cryptos. I think Bitcoin should disappear for being used by hackers or have it regulated. Whichever cryptos either prevail will make some people rich while others will disappear along with your investments. Nft have also been hacked by spam or other means. Hackers know there is a lot of money to be made so buyer beware.

Some crypto networks do have a valid use case: enabling easy, automated, electronic transactions without the need for an expensive and inefficient intermediary: imagine micropayments in your favorite game, for example, or automatic payments to charge your BEV, without a payment processor skimming off the top. Probably the most compelling use case is the one that nobody has thought of yet--much like the Internet in 1999.

How about a virtual strip club with real-time performers? Crypto could be a good way to tip (I would use a stablecoin for that; nobody wants their tip to halve in value by the end of their shift). For that matter, that could be useful in a meatspace strip club, too. It has been a long time since I have been to one, but I can't imagine a single dollar bill is an acceptable tip for a dancer anymore.

Many crypto networks are changing the way they award new tokens--from "proof of work" to "proof of stake." By awarding tokens to those who are most invested in the network, they'll eliminate the competitive mining process and vastly reduce the amount of energy required to process transactions. Even if they don't reduce the environmental impact, I expect that cryptocurrency is here to stay. You can't uninvent a technology.

The question, as pointed out by @ADMIRERZ, is which ones of the thousands now in circulation will win out. Of course nobody knows for sure, but I'm betting that Bitcoin will endure in spite of its many technical problems, due to brand recognition alone. When your name is synonymous with an entire sector, that's a very strong tailwind. I also think Ethereum has a strong future as the network that will be most used for smart contract applications. If and when Ethereum 2 gets off the ground, it will be one of the networks that minimizes environment impact as I mentioned above.

I don't concern myself with what the value of cryptocurrency will be in 15 days; I'm looking at 15 years. Of course, there's a chance that it will all be worth nothing by then, so I only spend money that I would otherwise take to the casino, I focus on the better-known coins with the apparently strongest use cases, and I don't count the value of my holdings as an asset.

NFTs have no value to me in their current form. I have no interest in holding "bragging rights" ownership in something that everyone can "have" for free. If, in the future, a way to make NFTs exclusive and to put control of sharing into the hands of the NFT holder, that will be a different story. I don't think it's out of the question that that could happen, but for now, no thank you.

We have been using Crypto / Digital Currency for Years here.
Credits !
we exchange our Money for Digital Credits.
and then use said Digital Credits to Purchase shared NFTs ( Cards )
It's a shared NFT, because more than one person can purchase the Same NFT.
Once Owned, though, it is Unique to you. Only you can Enjoy it, and it can never be gifted, resold, or traded.

Sure it's a closed system, and outside of the iStripper system, the Crypto and NFT's have no real value.
But to all of us, In Here, they are worth more than Gold.

Personally I am very interested. I think it's great that you're considering this possibility because crypto payments will become more common in the future. And those who are not interested will still be able to use other payment methods.

Il existe de nombreuses crypto-monnaies stables (stablecoins). Elles sont indexées sur les monnaies conventionnelles comme le dollar ou l'euro.😉
