Nadine is definitely a beautiful woman in my opinion.

She looks great in every card.

I have not downloaded any of her cards mostly because of the comments that make it seem as if her dancing and stripping is missing.

Anyone care to comment about any of Nadine's cards (full cards, not trailers only)?

Nadine is definitely gorgeous, but I agree with the comments that her performance in Almost Innocent is disappointing. So much so that I haven't even been able to watch all of the clips yet since there are now so many other new beautiful girls who can also perform a striptease well.

I bought the card as soon as it was available based on her looks alone since there were no comments yet ... last time I'll do that. She is very obviously uncomfortable with dancing, doesn't show off her beautiful body much and doesn't smile much ... I think one person who commented hit the nail on the head in saying that she's probably great at still photo shoots wherein she only has to look sexy for a fraction of a second at a time, but she doesn't seem to know what to do with herself in the continuous medium of video.

I hope she improves since she is perfect as far as physical beauty ... it just seems that she doesn't know how to use it yet ... at least not in front of a video camera.

Totem seems caught on the "horns of a dilemma".The creative attitude is for girls to "do their own thing" regarding dance. Leaving them free to be expressive & creative. Yet when it doesn't work they have no option but release or not. I'm sure Stanze isn't a choreographer and does not want to get the model flustered.
I'm wondering if an audition "tape",disc,(iphone?) focused not only on beauty but on presentation & all around "boogie-ability" wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe this is already being done. There still should be someone at time of shooting to be on hand to correct really askew dance presentations. Someone , in Nadine's case, to smooth out the transitions & up the seduction.
I've harped on this before but it's the choreographer/advisor that's needed here.
I know -tough economic times. So come on Totem team Bachelors- go hook up with a choreographer and let her come to work with you on shooting days.(smile)
Sometimes beauty is it's own reward! Other times beauty must seduce!

@Plasonic
As for audition tapes I believe Totem only use still photos in most cases making it a "lottery" if the girls can move on stage or not. Also, many of the girls have never worked on anything like these "stage performances" before. Nadine is one of these girls. No wonder most of them look totally lost from time to time! ;)

Personally I'm beginning to get seriously bored with girls just strutting around without a thought through choreography for the scene. I really think Totem should spend more time with each girl in this part of production. Maybe only making two cards per day instead of three and use time time to shoot quality rather than quantity.

I'd rather see 20 minutes of high quality performance than 50 minutes of a girl just sitting bored or strutting around waiting for time to pass...

jununger, I agree with your thoughts.
I do not care if dancers use the pole or not.
But I want dancers who strip well and show off their body (breasts at least).
I desire a girl to have good eye contact, appear to enjoy herself, and have fluid movements.
I would rather see a six minute fully nude card (no explicitness) with the above, than a sixty minute topless card (where the girl really does not seem to be doing anything) or explicit card (where the girl gets to the HOT action way too soon and does not seem to strip at all).

Here's a thought, they should pick girls who have some talent with pleasing an audience, hiring a girl based on good looks alone somtimes isn't enough as we have seen with some of the models that everyone gave low ratings to, if totem raised the bar to include at least some talent in their shows, take suzie q for instance, she is flat out talented on the pole and that must be why totem hired her to come to VG, having talent would be a big plus for the models,( dancing moves, smiling, overall appeal, and how well she makes an audience happy) they should pick girls with a good degree of talent and personal flair, so in the end, getting girls with some talent as well as beauty would make everyone happy.

I agree with most comments but, personally, I think a "choreographer" would be going too far since it seems the general philosophy of encouraging the girls to "do their own thing" is what keeps them from all doing exactly the same things, which would be even worse than a few occasionally who are not as good as most. In my opinion, most of them are doing just fine and probably don't need much direction.

Personally, I don't care for the Suzie Q style of dancing at all precisely because it is too choreographed ... I find it too mechanical and contrived, which is counter to what "sexy" means. Every woman has her own inherent sexiness ... some just need some help expressing it comfortably in front of a camera, which I'm sure isn't easy.

I actually prefer if dancers don't use the pole at all and agree completely with JonC001 in that they should all strip well, show off their bodies, appear to enjoy themselves, have fluid movements and have good eye contact.

Yes I really meant more of a "movement coach" to help over the rough spots.Still it's amazing they don't have someone to help!
BUT WHOA!-MASSIVE DISCONNECT! -This is a site about MOVEMENT and auditions are by STILL photo! WOW! There's the problem with not getting stripper/dancer quality moves! I'm sure, that like the previous "why don't you get strippers from strip clubs" idea there must be problems in this FOR TOTEM but I would think at least #3 on the list after beauty, & personality, would be "sexy moves"! Maybe it puts models in stress to know they have to "perform".
For me, good erotic play & nice presentation is a great deal better than good dancing and little eroticism. But hot dance moves & hot erotic...Mmmmm...heaven!
For instance- I would love to see Ashley Robbins return & do full on penetration eroticism (she's done so) with her dance style & body! (sigh)
Can we get the girls to at least upload a youtube vid of themselves dancing as part of their audition? I'm surprised!

Sorry @xtabix,

I have to disagree about the choreographer remark. A good choreographer/movement coach has quite an array of tricks at their disposal in helping set the mood and tone of various performances. The job of a choreographer in this case would be to enhance the girl's talents and persona rather than dictate to them exactly what to do. There have been some borderline abysmal shows in the past who, in the middle of taping should have been stopped mid performance and coached. Coached by someone who understands the nuances of acting flirtatious via smiles, poutiness, sensuously licking their lips, winking, even humorously crossing their eyes and (a big one) role playing. Jununger is right IMHO concerning the girls aimlessly at times just removing objects of clothing, only going through the motions of a striptease with no genuine spontaneity or thought placed into their performance.

So dance and let the girls be safe (and give us even higher quality shows) ;)

I just watched the 3 clips in her trailer & *BOY* does she look stiff. I was going to buy a few of her shows despite the luke-warm reviews...now I'm not so sure...maybe just 1

Yup. When I think about it @bobbleg I'm reminded of a movie line.

"Houston . . . we've got a problem."

In VG2 a model could get away with the "cold fish syndrome" but definitely not in VGHD.

all depends on your tastes and prefs

personally i think good looks smore important than good moves.

ofc a well rounded package is Best

but if i had to choose
i'd rather have smoking hot manequins than minger dance champions.

thats just me tho :)

No problem. To each his own as they say (whoever they are) I just think members should be forewarned concerning cards such as hers. It's frustrating too, knowing that all she needed (being that gorgeous) was some coaching from the staff and she could of had some ***** cards.

Let the girls act like mannequins and keep safe . . . ;)

BTW Do we have minger dance champions thus far ???

And aren't most dance champions hot to begin with because of their toned physiques ??? I think it's a win win scenario . . .;)

You REALLY would rather have smoking hot manniquins ???

You must be a big Lillian Tiger fan . . . ;)

As long as babes move & show it like Jana H. (old style "explicit show")
and Natali(New style "explicit show & touch") that's working for me! The more "mannequin" the babe, the more explicit she has to be to compensate for the tension not there by the dance/tease part.Pantydancers are nice too. Babes who do hot teasy dances while stroking cookie thru panties can be a nice variation in addition to the above.
Girls who sell it well and are at least "show explicit" do it for me!
I just read in Monica Scott's blurb that she can "put both her legs up behind her head" So how come we don't get to see that in her shows?(I've got 2)
Totem remember, "a picture is worth 1000 words" !lol

Hi Folk's,
i did read all your post's and can only say try this:
Click on Ariel (Search Again for example) and choose the "no nudity shows"...
After watching that choose for some card of Nadine and look at that for a while...
Than ask yourself who is the better "performer"...
By the way, i guess even Ariel does her show on her own and not using any choreographer :-)
