The VGHD software will not load the two screens that require a connection to the web. These screens are the Upcoming Models screen in the "My Collection" tab and the "All Models" screen. I am able to download the models and am able to get to the "My Profile" web page through the software link. I have tried finding all of the entries in the registry. I could not find any entries dealing with a link to a download exept for the one used by the downloader to download the cards. Any help?

hello @KindAndPassionat change nothing, just wait several minutes and tri. I noted my acces to the site is stop for 4 minutes and all comeback.

ho i see also a possible problem with the file redirect.cds

have you several internet navigator ?

install again the program VGHD, no need to uninstall, but before install wait a little, i test my program and i see the windows ok. test then before install again.

and tri to have only one navigator internet and ask to the preference systeme is this program you prefere.

Thanks for the advice Alerte. unfortunately I have already tried to re-install the software. I do have two Internet browsers though. Internet Explorer which I do not ever use unless I have to, do I need to explain why? I thought not. And Mozilla Firefox, AWESOME! But when I install the VGHD software it does not ask me which browser to use nor does it ask me any questions besides install directory. I have been using VGHD for about a week or so now. I have installed it several times and I have had to do some work arounds in my registry on Totems advice to do so. Still I keep having loading issues and never once has those two windows worked. Any more help?

hello @KindAndPassionat yes i anderstand for internet explorer, i use it for my site. and my navigator is firefox like you.

then me also i use two navigators.

then first, for have acces to the Browser, i forget to say you must:

créat one new folder where you want copy your collection exemple D:/VIR
1) copy the collection then the entire folder VGHD, the folder who have the Data and Models.
2) look for your password, in (Help - Customer Service - 1 Login /password - I've lost my password).
3) uninstall the program
4) install the program and here in the first page you have acces to the browser. here you give the name D:/VIR

I have done as you explained. Although I have already done this several times. But yet again it did not work. I think that you misunderstood what is wrong with the software. I will try to explain in another way.

Every since I first installed, (And I have since re-installed over the original as well as clean installs), the two sections in the VGHD software that requires a link to the web servers does not show up. These areas are the right side pane in the "My Collections" tab and the whole window for the "All Models" tab.

This is what does display in those areas...

when you clic, nothing is open, or the navigator but with a blank page ?

have you only VGHD, or VGHD more other product ?

in all models you see the girl, and see you the next girl for tomorrow ? if yes then i only the problem of priority of navigator i think. i tri to find where place the information.

control that

1) open firefox and go on option
2) select avanced
3) select general
4) verify if firefox is you navigator by defaut.


control also internet exploreur if the option test is actic then desactive verification in start for internet exploreur.

i don't know if that resolve the problem have luck.

other think, when you start VGHD you open the V by right mouse clip and made community, because i see if i not made that, and open a show, my account is not activ.

I see where the miss communication is. When I click on "Communaute" or "Mon profil" all works just fine. It is not my browser default or having trouble loading the browser. It is in VGHD itself.

If you look at your jpeg image 175569.jpg you have text in the "Modele de demain" area. I have an error mesage. It will not show. Same for the "Tous les Modeles" tab. See my image below...

INFO: I am using Windows Vista with SP2. I am not using a router and my base Firewall is standard Vista's. I have both the VGHD.exe and VirtuaGirlHD_Downloader.exe set as exceptions in the Firewall. I am using ESET NOD32 Antivirus v3.0 with both the /programfiles/vghd directory and the /users/USER_NAME/appdata/roaming/vghd (wich I moved to something more of my liking) directory set as exception. I am using Mozilla Firfox v3.5.6 with it (as always) set as default. I checked both my Firefox and IE settings and made sure that the web address that is trying to get through have exceptions and low security.

I can not think of anything else. I will keep looking. It is not important but it is a problem that will annoy me until I figure it out.

I feel like such an idiot....

I found the problem. Like I said earlier: I rarely use Internet Explorer. The last time I did a reinstall of Windows Vista (which I do every six months for cleaning) I did not set up the proxy on IE. VGHD connects through IE so it had no proxy info to connect through.

Thats what I get for ***** Internet Explorer. Even more so now.
