Welcome to VirtuaChems:-) I guess Sublime Beauty was the card that was on special most times so far and this one also was available some times. Concerning other Chems Cards i can't remember seeing them on special.

Every Chems card has been on special. Buy them if you don't have them.

Since this was on special 10 days ago maybe it will go faster than the 14 hours it took the last one. Or maybe lead right into the Friday releases.

Seems to have taken 8 or 9 hours last time. Not that I care because I bought all of Chems cards for full price before they had the specials.

Glad to see new members, rather than VIPs, getting a good deal.

Ambler: "Glad to see new members, rather than VIPs, getting a good deal."

Whatever makes you think that "VIP"s get a different deal to anybody else?

As you can see, I'm a "VIP".
If I buy a card on special it costs me one ticket, just like anyone else.
If I buy a card not on special it costs me two tickets, just like anyone else.

Apart from the addition of an extra area of the forum known as "Casting" I can't see any advantage at all of "VIP" status.

PS I don't think Demonia has been on yet, it's the only Chems card I'm missing.

VIPs get to buy trailers for 1 ticket. New members don't.

I therefore don't understand why VIPs ***** so much about the specials, which are designed to entice the daily hundreds of new members into actually spending some money on the site.

You may be right about Demonia. Looks like Eufrat wins that particular battle.

Oh well, after another 61 cards to take you from 239 up to 300 you'll find out that what I've said is actually true.

As I pace back and forth picketing and On Strike, guarding my 299 card collection.Looking so gloomy as it is possible that I may never get to see the wonderous perks of being a VIP in the short number of years I have remaining on this planet. Waaa, Totem, how can you be so *****?????

Nice to see Mai and Chems getting some time on the line, rotating through their collections rather than repeating the same few over and over would be nice.

That would be true for any of the "specials". I can't remember the last time I saw a different card other than the new ones on sale. Over 500 cards on the site and it seems only 20 are ever on sale.

Go to page 21 of this thread :)

With the current special it looks as if we will get 1 more "random" before the new cards, so it might be a 6 hour wait, maybe longer. If its an unpopular new girl such as Kayla it could be as long as 12 hours.

@008Zulu yes I know it’s more than twenty actual cards :) But it’s still only 30% and the more cards added that number will go down since it seems to be the same cards repeated and rarely any of the other 70% showing up. Some of that 70% are good cards.

Where did you get the idea that Kayla was unpopular? The last time she was on special offer, the available cards all disappeared pretty quickly.

Her last new card, Sunny Sunday, took almost 3 hours to sell. Page 25 states at or about 4:40pm and Caries came up at or about 7:13pm. Considering most new cards are sold out in about 30-45 mins, so she can't be that popular.

@008Zulu
I think you'll find that 4:40pm to 7:13pm is 2 hrs 33 min, so considerably less than 3 hours and hardly the 12 hours that you mentioned in your previous post.

Also You'll notice that Carie's card started at 7:13 pm according to that page, and the next card up was Nikita Valentin at 9:53 pm. So that would mean that Carie's card took 2 hrs 40 min to sell out. By your criteria, does that mean Carie is less popular than Kayla? If so why didn't you pick her as an example?

Also before that, Nicca's card took 1 hr 23 min - faster than the other 2, but well outside your stated range of 30-45 min.

So Kayla's card didn't take an inordinately long time to sell compared to the others that day.

The fact the new cards were selling relatively slowly that day could be due to a number of factors and does not necessarily reflect popularity of the girls.

@Spacephantom & 008Zulu

If you don't mind me joining your discussion:
What the average selling speed of new cards are is pretty debateable: The very first cards sold in between 1:00 - 2:00 "back then" 0:45 could be considered fast, but some of the recent cards sold between 0:30 and 1:15 on average with some very fast in 0:20.

The friday in question my records lead me to the following times:
576 - Nicca / Velvet Paw - 1:33 (15:06 - 16:39)
595 - Kayla / Sunny Sunday - 2:34 (16:39 - 19:13)
618 - Carie / Black Romance - ~ 1:10 (19:13 - ~20:20)

Kayla is less popular then other new cards, but I wouldn't say unpopular.

Of course you can join in ;-)

So where is the record of this mysterious card that started at 8:20 pm that day? I just double checked again and the next card after Carie was definitely 433 Nikita Valentin: Divine Kiss, at 9:53 pm. So Carie's card was up for 2 Hrs 40 min according to the posts on this thread. In other words it took 7 min longer than Kayla's to sell.

Anyway, the point is that the speed at which they sell IS NOT a good indication of popularity. Discounting the Friday scrum for new cards, the slowest selling cards tend to be the ones that most people already have, so it could also be argued that the most popular cards sell more slowly, but either way it isn't a valid argument.

@Spacephantom: Maybe Nikita's card wasn't outright reported here because nobody cared, and the guy you're arguing with sat in front of his PC and noted down the times? How about taking this for an answer?
