I see folks are chatting in the actual download section. But I guess I'll stick with what I was told despite my eyes and their bad intent.

(I guess if no one comes back here next time I will go there. If the world hasn't blown up by then. Trump is doing the best he can to freak everything up like the Rethuglicans want. He's getting there.)

Thanks for your continued excellent fullscreens!

I have been playing with the Mathildenhoehe carousel, trying to get the clipNamesprite permanently displayed as you show us in Club Callipyg.

You may be interested to know that it does indeed work, but one has to take the Display_Name_Clipn sprite out of the Clipn clipsprite (repeating the rot and animation lines therein, and playing with appropriate z positioning and scaling).

If the Display_Name_Clipn sprite is left where the clipNamesprite is (i.e. embedded in the clipsprite) there is serious inconsistency in the z direction. It is not manifest until 3 or 4 permanent name sprites are used. Then some permanent names are 500 or so pixels above the others; and when the fullscreen is played again, different clips behave in this way.

Is there a way to keep the model name always on? I want to learn their names.
Unfortunately no pics are allowed in New Users threads so I've answered here:

In settings desktop you can increase names duration to only 5 seconds max.
In Fullscreen mode there are ways to show model names throughout a clip but
it is a .scn code work-around rather than a setting. :-/

There is a series of fullscreen scenes made by @TheEmu
which depict a series of acts in a small club.
These show the model name for an extended period, enough for you
perhaps to become familiar with different models & their names.

Your welcome. Those other Atlantis/other place versions are still coming. I worked on them last weekend in fact. I even changed some things in the 4-5 girls versions to make them run smoother with the mass amount of girls. LOL Stay tuned.😀

Please ..could someone be so kind as to convert Wyld's Shades - music1.fsh shader
so that the black becomes transparent? I love using this shader with music :-)
I know @TheEmu has done similar transparent backgrounds before with shadertoy frag shaders such as FlyGuy's Ring Twister.fsh & others however I've had a look and it is way beyond my tweekability so I don't know how difficult it would be to make the black into transparent in music1.fsh.
Can someone ~ anyone help ?? If so thanks in advance !!

You know I don't know squat about shade code except a color change or simple scene placemement etc...lol. I would like to know what scene that is just to have it looks cool. I looked on Wylds host site and trIed all the Shades named ones and can't find it.

@DANO70, actually @Wyld's original shader is the one used in his scene +Shades - 007-MusicStanding3D.scn
Its in his Shades directory and looks like the pic above. The shader used in the .scn is Shades - music1.fsh

It looks a tad different sure, because I tweeked around some of the values in the .fsh
It is a Great shader to mod for speed and other characteristics for peeps to suit different musics.

btw you don't have to know exactly what you are doing with shaders in order to make em change in wierd & wonderful ways.. just play around the edges of what code is there & rename & save frequently for a wonderful journey of discovery. Highly value the program Beyond Compare as was recommended by @TheEmu for this process. We hopefully await the return of our code Oracles..lol, cheers ;-)

I've put it in the same fragments directory as Wyldanimal's, so it is
easier to find & compare the trivial changes I made to the shader code
to get this.

The simplest change would be to add the line

gl_FragColor.a = length(gl_FragColor.rgb);

to the shader immediately after the existing assignment to gl_FragColor.

The modification varies the opacity with the intensity of the colour such that the darker the colour the more transparent it is.

I've made the changes to allow for the black color to be transparent and allow a background image to show through.
This will add a new scene sub folder Shades-t1
it contains Two Scene files 'a' and 'b'
and a few sample background images.

The reason for Two Scene files is so you can use the Right Click to change to the Next model.
and still keep the same Scene
Only make these two scene active. than click the play all scenes button.

I kept ET's other modifications to the math's

You be able to see what was done, to both the scene file and the Shader.

Edit: I had finished the changes at around 2:00 pm on my break, but I couldn't get the Scene Code to post on the Forum...
Then I got pulled for a work project. this was the first I got back.

I've explored further the retention of clipnamesprites during a scene by following @TheEmu's
ideas in his Club Callipyg scenes. This scene uses the clipsprite node as source rather than
only the name node, & opacity & easing curves to obfuscate unwanted name animation caused by
any movement of the name's corresponding clipspite.
Timed opacity is used to eliminate the clipnamesprite showing over the rendered name graphic
at the commencement of every new clip.
I took the liberty of using a stage graphic from @TheEmu's Club Callipyg scenes to illustrate
this a tad better. Hope that is ok @TheEmu. Thanks a lot for the inspiration.

Mr. Basic has finished the Conveyor/Atlantis scenes. Credit to Wyldanimal for the occluding shader tweek that led to static names and RGB color effects used here. I changed/combined a few images since...
Excellent your new conveyor scenes @DANO70. Love the light beam effect in Atlantis,
your use of shaders to perpetuate & color the names & the care you have put into

I recently found a zip file in my download directory containing the above scfi scene. It had got lost among all the other stuff I had there and I only got round to looking at it today. Unfortunately I have forgotten who posted it in the first place - can anyone help.
