Funny thing is i feel like the only one that really needs the year is @rebailne for all the work he does.

These days i don't even download a card until i put a custom skin on it.

@Wyldanimal - I have just done a quick test by partially downloading a card. It seems that you were correct and my memory was wrong. Though I am absolutely sure that I did change the order when I first set up the use use of the external drive and am almost sure that at that time it caused the new downloads to go where I wanted them. Since then, as I said in the addition to my earlier post, I have almost always downloaded away from home and without the external drive being present so the question did not arise. Also earlier I had been using a smaller, 4T, external drive that may have had less free space on it than the C drive after I had moved the animations and various other, non-iStripper, media to it which may have contributed to my false impression.

I've Not been able to Control Which Drive the New Downloads go ot.
It always uses the Drive with the Most amount of Storage Space, regardless of the Order I place them in.

The Only way I've found to get around this, is to have Different REG files.
I have them on my Desktop
In each one, I have either All the drives listed,
Or I have Only the Single Drive I want the Downloads to go to listed.
with the Other drives minused out so they are removed.

I double click the proper registry file,
Start iStripper
Download the cards.

Quit iStripper
Then Double click the registry that has all the drives.
And restart iStripper


I recently Moved many cards from my Internal drive to the External drive.
That created the issue where the Internal drive now had more free space than my External drives.
And all the New Downloads then Started going to the internal drive.
I wanted them to go to one of the external drives.
Changing the Order of the drives didn't change this..

So I had to resort to the Method above.

Out of Curiosity how many Lotto Tickets you folks have?I'm at 448 now think that is good odds?

I did approx. 1000 spins on x5 (spent about 3,2K credits on the slot machine and only bought -50% and -70% off cards)

I got a single 250 credits reward and 26 times the 25 credits reward.
I also got approximately 550 cards for about 6,5 credits each.

@Wyldanimal - I just made it the first of the two locations specified in the list of folders. The disk that it is on has 931 GB free (out of a terabyte) while the external disk has 4.29 TB free (out of 8 TB) but despite what you say the new shows and updates to old ones have always gone to the first folder in the list - I initially set it up the wrong way round and then they went to the external drive,

Oops: I have just realised that most of the time when I am downloading a new card that I am not at my home address and do not have the external drive with me so I can no longer be 100% sure about what I wrote above - I am almost sure that it worked that way when I did download with both discs present, but I can't be absolutely sure as that would have been last christmas.

I'm just curious, because it seems that when you have Multiple Locations for Storage.
It Defaults to the Location with the Most Amount of Free Space
as the Location where the New Downloads go.

@Dorsai6 - I had intended to make it clear that I was referring to the "nominal value" of the card but my subsequent editing obscured this - but the phrase "the total value in credits" should have been enough to make my point clear. For those of us with full collections and who continue to buy all cards then my statement is absolutely correct - the 10 credits we get is less than the 11 (or 13) credits that we would have had to pay, and indeed actually have previously paid, for the card that was replaced by the 10 credit prize.

Also please remember that my post was in reply to one that initmated that we premium members were receiving special advantageous treatment in the games - whereas if you analyse it properly we are not. Indeed if you are a triple diamond member (as most premuium member ought to be) but are "picky" about what cards you buy then there is an even greater bias against you in these games because you any card you win is likely to be one you do not like whereas if you as a single diamond member or below then there is a higher probability that any card you win will be one that you like.

Hi Manue.. After a lot of trying and changing I have came to the conclusion I have a pc problem.
I now changed the XXX shows from 4K and 3K to 1080 and the sound is now ok..
i am not sure what the problem is but this way i can listen to the shows the way they are ment to bee listened to.
Maybe in the future this problem can be solved so I can play the 4K shows also but this is for now okay.

There are many ways to calculate value. List price equals value if you are willing to pay that amount. In my case the value of the cards I don't already own is near zero because I don't want them. I wish Totem would allow me to opt for credits instead of cards in these games. That would increase the value for me.

Bought tons of spins today.... If you are interested: only a single 5x50 credits roll in approx. 3000 credits spent. No 5x1000 credits so this seems to be a <1% chance

I bought 30 this time and never got the chance for a special card. however, I won 6x 50 credits so it wasn't too much of a loss.

@KatherineP - You can spread the storage for the animations over as many folders on as many internal or external drives as you want. It done via the app's settings page. Click on the cogwheel icon in the title bar, enable Advanced Settings and scroll down until you reach the Data section where you will fing the control you need to use to do this.

I use two folders, one on my laptop's internal drive and a second much larger one on an external drive. I have the recent downloads go to the internal drive, and keep a few favourites there, and move them manually to the external drive latter.

I am running out of space on my hard drive. I have a high capacity protable drive. Is it possible to down load some of the cards on the portable extended drive?

Yeah, that's why I didn't get what you were saying at first because I got the Jia Lissa and Joker from the Black Friday Tab and not the games. So I thought it was a little weird for me to get 3 specials seemingly easily since I've been ghosting the forums for quite a bit and there are many topics that discuss the hoops one has the jump through to get a Special.

@Tommy7358 - actually you get the Jia Lissa SEC and the Joker when you have bought a total 50 and 100 of slot machine and/or scratch card games (and I assume the progressive packs are included as well) so you may not have actually won them but may instead have got them, on top of your winnings, just for buying that many games yesterday.

I got the Josephine Jackson, Ginebra Bellucci and Olivia Sin ones to be exact.

Then I already got it and the Joker Card from playing slots yesterday and I have three brand new Specials today from Scratch Game. Guess that's means I'm really lucky then, still would have preferred to hit the Jackpot at Slots but then again most people would probably want a Jackpot too.

Huh, guess I'm luckier at Scratch Games than the the Slot Machine since I really get another 2 Special Event Cards aside from the guaranteed one you mentioned . Also, does it really give you a Joker Card at the 100th Scratch? Because I still have just the one I got from the Slot Machine yesterday and I'm already at 120 scratch cards in.

Perhaps I need to use the first Joker Card to get the second or are they are mutually exclusive to begin with?

Most of the users in this thread reporting a profit are premium members. Is that significant in determining one's chances of winning? Is it a two-tier system? Make of it what you will.

That will be because having full collections (or full all but for last 45 days if the normal exclusion of recent cards applies to these games) any ordinary card that we would have won is replaced by 10 credits (so we get a smaller reward than we would have done if we had won the card). Therefore we get more wins in the form of credits than those that still have cards that can be bought and hence have better chance of ending up "in profit" as far as credits are concerned even though the total value in credits of our wins would have been higher if we had won cards rather than credits.

Even though I now have all the cards there is (minus some withdrawn old cards), including all the SEC cards, I decided to try my luck with 3 scratch cards for 30 credits, for the heck of it. I won 50 credits for every one of those 3 scratch cards. What are the odds, I'd like to know!? And I really mean I scratched 50 credit wins three times in a row with 3 S-symbols (see pic above) - so I have now 120 credits more than I had a few minutes ago.

Not counting the 1320 credits for €99 promo I took advantage of, I have played enough these Black Friday/Week -promos to have obtained 15 new cards, 2 x Special Event Cards and 1 x Joker card and I didn't lose any credits - instead I'm somewhere around 150-200 credits on the plus side with those winnings since I started playing.

Despite some bad experiences with some users, I think the odds have been much more favourable in general this time than in some earlier promos(?)

Anyway, this experience has completely destroyed my faith in Totem, and replaced it with disgust. I was going to do a €99 topup this week, but having just been MUGGED, I will not give them another penny. I thought about contacting CS to exchange those cards I'm not remotely interested in for ones on my wishlist, but I've been waiting for over a month for a reply to my email enquiry into purchasing another of their products.

If I'd wanted cards I didn't want, I would have bought the progressive packs - at least they include a discount, instead of the obscene markup which was applied by the scratchcard system.

All you have to do is touch the center of the screen with your nose tip, which is almost like 3D light. 😀😆

@Tommy7358 - I think that you have been unusually lucky, but with thousands of players a few can be expected to be this lucky. However, you should have got one automatically with your 50th game (and would get a Joker with the 100th). If you are counting that one among your three then you have not been quite so lucky.

It's exactly as the topic title says. I've gotten 3 special cards in about 80 scratch games. Is that common or did I just get REALLY lucky? If it is common then what's the point of having joker cards in the first place?

Somehow the number of my tickets seems to be part of the Lottery ... 😲

I almost always shun the gambling games, but I was in a festive mood and had recently gotten a little gift card as a token of appreciation at work. After treating myself to 290 scratch cards and a few dozen spins on the slots, I now have 58 lottery tickets. Of course, I'm not holding my breath that any of those are winners, but even an extra Joker card next week would be a nice surprise.

FYI, the total cost of that splurge was ~$100 (one full recharge of 1320 credits). It resulted in the Joker card, 5 SECs (including Jia's card) and 68 miscellaneous cards of varying interest. No complaints since I got those SECs, got 4 cards from the slots at a 70% discount and discovered a few nice girls whose cards I otherwise would not have bought. However, I'm planning to "get back on the wagon" again and spend my next $100 just buying 81 cards from my wish list. (Now exactly where did I put my self control . . . 😐)

This is basically me everytime the special event card or the 100 credits comes up.... its always 2 out of 3, like clockwork..... To the point where I wont play scratch games anymore... beyond terrible odds... but then again, its a choice to play, one I will not make again....

There is no way of knowing the odds in the past or now.
There are two ways. One would be to collect enough data to do a statistical analysis. The simpler way would be for Totem to publish the algorithm they use. I think Totem should do the latter.
I also would appreciate it if Totem published the odds of winning for all of the games. We can, however, go some way towards estimating the odds by analysing the results. I bought 100 scratch cards (stopping when I qualified for the SEC and Joker cards) and according to my account history had the following results

48 10 credit wins
4 50 credit wins
1 100 credit wins
There were also 43 1 credit bonuses some of which would have been won at the same time as a main win and others all by themselves. I did not win any free cards as I already owned them all - I believe that any that I would have won were replaced by a 10 credit win (as was the case with the previous scratch card game).

While based only on a sample of 100 scratch cards that suggests to me that the probability of winning something (to the extent of at least nominally getting your money back) on any single scratch card is roughly 50% (plus or minus about 10%) and that the secondary Bonuses have a similar probability of being won,
