unaware of. Your argument is akin to "well you clicked yes on the EULA". People frequently click on things they didnt read and even add links they didnt read either, just because others have.

@ZZ2 - I do see it. But it in no way changes anything that I have said in which I have deliberately restricted myself to clarifying technical points regarding the licence.

If someone does not want their work to be used in ways they do not approve of then they should not use an unmodified Creative Commons license.

As an extreme example, someone could use a shadertoy as a background while they do stuff to eg:- 13 year old japanese girl (legal in parts of japan) and have the toy's creators name in the corner. Do you honestly think "but you have the CC licence" would be an excuse they would accept?

It is one thing to use their shader in another toy or in a game and an entirely another in a scene with a eg:- woman stuffing a vibe up herself. I don't understand how you can't see that.

I am willing to bet that the majority of people that use the CC licence have not read it, they have just thought "oh i just need to copy past that bit" and that s all. Yes, technically you can use it for whatever you want, but morally ...?

Just because the agreement is there and even if they have read and understood it that doesnt mean they know istripper exists and has opengl functionality. This is a niche product after all. Just for the sake of basic courtesy you should inform them that you are using it in istripper. They may not want their name/work associated with porn.

To my mind you should at least give the original creator a heads up that you are using their shader in a sexualy explicit program. When i used parts of Bigwings (the art of code on youtube) gyroid code, i linked my youtube video(now deleted) in his youtube comments. He liked it, i don't think he would have any problem with Calgon use of his feathers shader but i cant speak for him nor can any of us speak for the other creators which may not understand that the CC licence allows this kind of useage.

Informing them may get some new customers and scene creators too :)

Most of those creators have no idea istripper exists. I guarantee there are some people on there that would not want their work associated with strippers regardless of the licence.

The other part being that Calgon is complaing about someone informing someone else how to alter his scene to remove a logo on their computer at the same time as using other peoples code which he has altered, that seems a bit rich to me. Previously i have told calgon not to remove the original attribution on shaders so he seems to be unaware of the protocol (i have messed up myself in this regard, but im not complaing about other people altering my scene or shaders).

The Creative Commons licences give you explicit permission to use the work as long as you include an attribution to the original author and allow others the same rights to re-use the combined work. There is a bit more to it than that but, unlike the American "reasonable use" permission, it's not just a "just" thing.

(When I last checked, about a year ago, the Shadertoy site said that the shaders there were released under a particular Creative Commons license except for those for which there was an explicit statement refering to some other licence.)

I don't know a lot about the finances but all this seems pretty much on target from what I remember.

For me personally the problem was the production quality; I never could figure out why they couldn't get it right but the only 'American' produced show that I found tolerable was Uma Jolie .. the rest were really pretty bad in one way or the other and usually bad in every way. And it wasn't the model fault .. many were very appealing everywhere except here. Most were hardcore pornstars I think; maybe it would have been better with softcore or nude models but I doubt it. Probem was the studio and or production team; changing that was the only hope for a fix.

I don't think Totem cares one way or the other; they are fine with the current talent. It's probably more profitable and just easier for them. Not sure how Melody Marks ended up on IS but I suspect she found them and not the other way around. And I'm glad she did!

Stilled bummed they didn't get Malena Morgan back in the day .. had my hopes up in spite of the poor quality; there were several others I was hoping for as well but can't remember who they were at the moment but they missed more than they got in terms of talent. I think they had a US partnership which limited the options.

I dont agree with the making us add the istripper logo in the scene as it's just a waste of time. It can easliy be removed, as for adding it to the scene code so we have no control... well they havent added any new functions that we have requested, didnt the person that wrote it leave years ago? I'm sure we would find a way around it or they will break things like the persistent buffer "undocumented feature".

iStripper will erase from the Data folder, and Not show the Images of cards removed from the Store.
You need to make a custom image in that cards data folder.
All custom images will be left in the data folder and used in place of the origional images.

How the idea of creating this studio came about. Who were the people responsible for it.

Its history, when it opened and what led to its closure.

Were the shooting conditions the same as in the European studio at that time?

Was the enthusiasm of the clients the same for the American women, as for the European women for example?

Is a return of a studio in America possible or not? If not, why not?

1. Studio was more expensive and totem couldn't control the quality of the product in terms photos and videos.
2. They tried to pay America models more similar to European models and couldn't build a very good catalog...cost of living in L.A and Las Vegas is ridiculous and pornstars must ask for more money. America doesn't have the constant flow of model beautiful girls from Russia and Ukraine like Europe does...
3. Totem then decided to pay much more for models and were able to get some good shows like Mia Malkova but these didn't sell well enough to justify the costs. Customers want professionals but aren't going to pay more for a pro-stripper with tats and anything fake...that has been proven. A tat-free girl from Ukraine or Russia who will do xxx seems the best bet for success.
4. Totem lost a lot of money on the America studio initially but probably has made it back as it helps sell the product to mainstream porn viewers and American users.
5. I actually think totem just needs to be more proactive about non-european models coming to Paris...they could have shot most of the best american girls without an american studio if they wanted.

Celine talked about another American studio back when they were selling NFT...and Rex has said it would presumably be in Florida this time. I don't see it happening though. Totem can expand their America catalog if they worked with the Vixen Media Group. This group shoots totem's most popular girls from europe and they do cast American girls, who fly to Europe, to complete shoots. Allie Nicole, Avery Christy, Gianna Dior, Emily Willis, Mia Melano, Lana Rhodes have all shot in Europe, some of them in Paris and weren't casted by Totem. Totem has yet to shoot during one of these visits. Not sure if it is a cost thing or just scheduling. It is the one area that is disappointing to me because I am sure they could get some of the girls if the price was right and with the gambling, special event, the premium mark-up, the mobile site subscription, and the NFT I would think they would be willing to spend a little more to improve the catalog or at least make it more diverse.

I do not have an urge to say no, but I do try to be realistic about what is practical.

I don't know, any more than you do. But there is no evidence to support your hope that they have one that can be used in the way that you want while there is some, albeit weak, evidence that there is no such database - the evidence being that in an exercise similar to the one that you are proposing someone did have to go through the collection manually.

I think we all agree, the idea is easy. The difficulty is making it happen.
Some have already started spreadsheets and working programs which "sort" items, it has already been started. There is already a posting for mistagged cards.

Just how do you propose to determine which cards have no clips in which panties are worn ? Certainly it would be less than all clips but it would also entail looking at much more than one clip per card.

I would be delighted if Totem provided a few of my favourite clothing tags - but they would almost certainly be rather different from yours (my personal highest priority clothing tags would be Bra, Panties, Suspender Belt, Blouse, Seamed Stockings, Silk or Satin).

For a long time I have wished that for each card Totem had provided a full list of the items of clothing being worn and discarded. But though that would have been practical if it had been a feature from the start it, along with similar ideas, would not be practical now.

P.S. would a card level "pantiless" tag be equivalent to "no panties" in which case a "Panties" tag would seem to be the more obvious choice alongside the existing "dress", "skirt", "stockings" and "socks" tags.

Par moment leurs éclairages étaient surexposés, ceci dit les choix artistiques et vestimentaires étaient selon moi meilleurs qu'en France. (un comble quand on songe à notre histoire)

First of all, thank you for your reply.
Maybe I explained myself badly, but I already have the images I need: the problem is that when I select the girl's card, the GUI doesn't show me the large image on the left.
I tried renaming the images like in the other folders of the "Data" directory, but it doesn't work.
Probably, for the girls who have retired from the business, there must be some instruction in the GUI that blocks these images from being viewed.
