TBH I already found the concept of SEC Cards messed up but at least you can buy them with Joker cards but with EX Card that are gone forever once the event is finished... it goes to another level.

You can get the Ex-card if you buy enough credits. No need to play any games if you don't want to.

At the moment you can buy 1320 credits for 99,95 $/€ and each such purchase gives you 374 tickets.
You can also buy 600 credits for 49,95 $/€ and each such purchase gives you 155 tickets.

With your 240 tickets already, if you buy 5 x 1320 credits, you have way over 2000 tickets (and 6,600 new credits...)

I have had a detailed look through all of the instructions and I don't think there's much point in my taking part in this event.

If I understand correctly, to get the "X" card I will need 3000 event tickets.

I played a few rounds on the pleasure chest and collected the Bonus quests and I'm at 240 tickets. If I play everything that's left I reckon I can get to about 2500 - that would mean playing 50 Wheels of Thrill Spin at a possible cost of 2500 credits with an unknown amount coming back in winnings, betting 5000 credits on the Slots - with no cards available to buy at a discount.

So... unless I've missed the point somewhere, getting the X is almost impossible for me.

@Totem - please advise, I'm sure plenty of people with a nearly full collection are in a similar position.

The problem is that even if people like you and me don't take part in these games and don't encourage them, there are plenty of others who will.

And Totem knows it. That's why it keeps going.

Gamers have won out over collectors who don't like games.

The most absurd thing about the EXs, if I understand correctly, is that they're going back on the pretext for which they created the Joker, and justifying their promotions, now almost exclusively through games. In other words, to make it possible to obtain cards that were only supposed to be available during the event and not afterwards.

Since some people wanted to have these cards, they created the Joker.

A real no-fun Joke after all.

Totem will do anything to siphon off your credits unnecessarily, in order to sell you more credits.

In short, the circle is complete.

The joker card issue was fixed to me as well, thanks. Now there just remains one ***** issue: the EX card of Kelly Collins appears as a blank cover in the collection, with just its reference (F1414) on the top left of the frame if the cursor is placed on top of it. In contrast, in the event section the cover appears correctly. It's worth mentioning that the card can still be played normally, so it's just that ***** detail.

I also noticed that it doesn't have a photo set, but I'm not sure whether it wasn't meant for this specific card or it's actually another issue.

I'm currently using gift cards to buy cards as I've a lot of them and want to use them, have premium turned off while i use them (it just makes sense) and revert to premium when all used. So my questions are

1. Looks like using gift cards doesn't count towards the buy cards count in rewards. Is this correct?

2. Can gift cards be used to purchase the advent calendar? Basically we're buy X cards in a single purchase so exchanging X gift cards should make no difference.

Seems bonkers to me to make these and not just have them available later with jokers.

My opinion may not weigh enough in comparison to you others, as my collection is relatively "small".
And I can also see why Totem does these events. I'm also participating in them on a regular basis, as I still have cards to collect that I want.

But this Event is completely ***** my interest in any of these "games". The amount of money going into this hobby already is not the smallest kind as it is.

Totem does these things because they increase sales and/or profits. Profits and sales increase because members participate in these "events".

If these "events" stop generating sales and profits you can bet that totem will stop offering the events.

Just wanted to mention that I won the joker card after reaching the 1500 event tickets bound, but it hasn't been actually added to my collection yet, even after pressing the button "add to my collection" and restarting a couple of times. Now it appears as "already owned" in the event tab, but this isn't being reflected in the "collection" tab. I owned already one of them, so I should have now two of jokers cards, but instead it still appears as 1 in my collection.

I should also mention that the Shelena's SEC card was added successfully to my collection after reaching the 1000 tickets bound and restarting once, though. Therefore, it seems to be a bug specifically affecting the joker card.

I absolutely love Team Totem. I love the software. I love all the models that we have had featured in all versions of VirtuaGirl, StripSaver, Deskbabes & iStripper. I have been a supporter since 1998, and I hope to be able to continue my support for as long as possible.
