Hi,
I'm loving it. However, these girls need a lot of disk space! I've only assigned 10GB to the bootable partition c:\. How do I ask Virtuagirl to download to another logical drive please?

Thanks,

Hi Teddykan!
From the Help page:

---------
My drive is filling up. How to move all girls to another drive?
Copy the VGHD data directory from where you have it to the other drive which would then be X:\VGHD (where X is your other drive).

Uninstall VGHD and then reinstall and watch for the option to change the data directory, its not a prompt, just a section on the setup screen.

When you browse to select the drive X, it will display the new destination as X:\\. Do not worry about the second slash. You should then be right to re-update the calendar and the models should not be redownloaded.
----------

Haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it works...

@teddycan - i have an external hard disc drive to save the files of vghd.
Before installing you can choose between hdd C: or L: than.
Hope this advice can help you :-)

Thank you for the advice. However, I didn't notice you could select c:\ or any other drive during installation! Now that I have installed it, do I need to restart? I'd prefer not to, as I've spent so much download time getting the girls onto my hard disk (and hard lollistick!).

If the models folder is already on the target drive, the downloader will not need to download all the files again, it will reuse the animations already there.

The only files that would be downloaded again are the executables which are relatively small.

You should see it work through all the shows, but with no files to download should all complete in a matter of minutes.
