Under "Graphic Render," how does one decide between "CPU" and "GPU"?

The main difference is that a CPU handles general, sequential tasks one after another, while a GPU handles many specialized, repetitive tasks at the same time using parallel processing.

What I mean is that on the "Settings" page in the "Desktop" category, one of the settings is labeled "Graphic Render" (described as "Method used to display the girls"). It consists of a drop-down menu with two choices. One choice is "CPU = processor." The other choice is "GPU = graphic card." Since I don't know what those mean, I don't know what to take into account in choosing one over the other. When you ask "What's your computer?," my operating system is Windows 10 if that helps.

GPU is meant to be more resource-efficient (as well as provide extra options like the sepia/b&w filters), but can be more prone to creating problems, hence why we select CPU by default, which is less resource-efficient (though it may not make a difference depending on your computer) but more stable.
If you don't know which to use, we suggest trying out the GPU mode, and if you notice anything wrong, switch back to CPU
