I've noticed that very often after win or loss in event games the app is trying synchronize with server,
so it takes a little time for processing current balance of credits and rewards. You may try synchronizing by yourself too, if you want a reward immediately, it helps.
Before iStripper 2.0, current balance of credits and rewards were shown in real time without any delays.
Would be nice to see it again someday.

Open Settings, find 'CONTROLS' part and then untick 'Auto-add' option.
After that you should be able to use your gift cards.
