Was there a change of policy regarding 4K shows? Previously once a card was purchaced during your subscription to Premium, you retained the 4K rights to that specific show. After reinstalling and upgrading to the new stable version today I lost access to the 4K download of the shows i bought during my premium membership. It is probably over 100 shows. I can download up to 3K and am prompted to get premium to download in 4k for the shows purchased during my membership.

hello it has nothing to do with the version, your Premium was cancelled on March 10 and expired on March 17.

Hello Celine,

You mentioned that the premium was cancelt but not refund. So, all cards that where purchaced before and during the active premium should always has the option to download in 4K.

Only cards purchaced after the active premium ends should be in 3K.

En effet, si je ne me trompe, ce qui avait été convenu à l'époque, c'est que les cartes achetées pendant que nous sommes membres Premium, restent avec la possibilité de les télécharger et /ou retélécharger en 4K, même si nous ne sommes plus membre Premium. Seules les cartes achetées en n'étant pas membre Premium n'ont pas l'option de téléchargement en 4K, Cette option devient possible pour ces dernières cartes en devenant Premium.

Ce serait bien de retrouver le texte original de ce qui avait été écrit à l'époque pour les membres Premium sur le forum.

Moi ce que j'ai de l'époque disait :

20% sur les nouveaux spectacles pendant dix jours après leur sortie.
20% sur les spectacles VR 180° pendant dix jours après leur sortie.
Débloquez la résolution 4K des spectacles Crystal Clear+.
Réponse prioritaire du service clientèle.

If you notice the original poster mentioned that he had "reinstalled" iStripper. I suspect that is the cause of his issue. The server may not have a per-card 4K-download-allowed status on individual cards when the user no longer has the global 4K-allowed status from an active premium account.

It is possible that I misread and continued access to 4K cards purchased during a premium membership (not cards upgradesd to 4K but purchased as non premium) was never promised. If so I apologize. No offense was intended

Yes I did indeed uninstall and reinstall to the latest stable version from the website. Prior to that the 4K cards were available after premium cancellation. But it would appear I was simply fortune, a glitch in the beta version I was using perhaps. Once I reinstalled the access was removed after cancellation/expiration as per policy, re: Celine's post.

I can't afford to purchase each month so I get premium only when I am able to reload credits. I'll do so again in future as I love the software. I'll look forward to the 4K then and in the meantime enjoy the still great 3K

The Server does have per card the status for the account.

When in the past my yearly subscription end and I could not get it renew I still could download all the cards in 4K that I had before the premium and all the cards that I got during the premium.

Yes In that time I got a new mini PC with a new install of iStripper and could download in 4K.

When I click on the crown it shows the following: (1 year is now 1 month and see differend between Cancel and refund)

Will I keep my 4k files if I cancel my Premium?
Cancelling will prevent the membership to renew but even if you cancel you will keep your advantages for all the period paid (1 year).
Once 1 year has passed and your membership terminated, any Crystal Clear + show purchased during your Premium membership will remain downloadable in 4k resolution even if not downloaded while your premium was active.

Will I keep my 4k files if I get a refund of my Premium?
No, all your advantages will be removed, including the 4k files.

I have tested it before with one of my Test Accounts.
While you Have the Premium Subscription
all cards you buy and then Download in 4K
remain in 4K even after the Subscription has ended.

I was later able to re-download these cards in 4K even though I was no longer a premium subscriber.

However,
I never tested, if I bought a card while a Premium Subscriber, but then Didn't activate the 4K download.
Could I then Later download that card in 4K after the subscription has ended.

I think the missing bit here is:
While you were a Premium Subscriber, you Purchased Crystal Clear + cards, But never activated the 4K on them.
They do Not Automatically remain in 4K at the end of the subscription unless the 4K resolution was activated.

I'm Testing that now on my test account, but it will take a month to discover the results.
I have purchased a Premium subscription for a Month.
I then Purchased two cards.
One of them I downloaded in 4K
the Other I only downloaded in 720p

I also have some previously Owned cards.
that I have not yet Downloaded.
I selected all of them, and then Changed the resolution to 4K, but did not start to download them.

This will test if Just Changing the Resolution of a Not already Downloaded card, is enough to Make it a 4K card.
Or
Does the card have to Be Downloaded at least once in 4K.

I've set a reminder so In a Month I will have a definitive answer, based on the test results.
I wish there was a way to Accelerate the test.
Maybe Customer Service can help in that regard.

I left the resolution as 720p and it is not yet Downloaded.
So this will test if a Purchased card while having Premium is enough to make it 4K after the subscriptions ends


I just downloaded these in 4K after I purchased the Premium Subscription.
I already had these cards downloaded in 720p, but upgraded the resolution to 4K

This confirms, that any Previously purchased cards, can be Upgraded to 4K, after you become a Premium Subscriber.

This will test, if the cards Must be Downloaded in 4K for them to remain in 4K after the subscription has ended.

Thanks for the help.

I can't remember. I believe I did download some in 4K but not all.
Could it be as one user suggested that uninstalling the software and All the models could also be a factor? Because the cards that were 4K remained 4K until I uninstalled even after the premium ended in the beta version I was running while in premium. I later did a reinstall from the website directly and was blocked from downloading in 4K for the specific cards
