cards suddenly unlinked

I'm having a strange issue with my cards. Suddenly, a bunch of them stopped working. When I click "play," instead of the card I want, a different one loads.

The files are still in their folders and show as enabled. I can even delete them, and the system tells me how much space will be freed up, so it seems to recognize the files. But when I try to play them, they don't work.

One other thing I noticed. When I click on the trash can symbol to delete, it doesn't work on first try. I click "yes" to delete and it does nothing. I now have to do this twice to delete cards.

I can't figure out how many cards are affected or which ones specifically. It doesn't seem to be related to any particular model.

Deleting and redownloading seems to fix it, but with over 3,000 cards, that would take a really long time. Does anyone have a quicker solution?

Has anyone encountered this before or have any ideas? Thanks!

Maybe, do a rebuild.
I have no idea where rebuild is on a MAC.
On Windows it is here:
the top left of the settings, with advanced checked.

@JonC001 Thank you for the suggestion. I considered rebuilding as well, but I believe that would also take a significant amount of time.
There may not be a simpler or faster solution available. I thought it would be worthwhile to ask the community in case there were any other ideas. If there is no other option, then that's what I will end up doing.

The Rebuild collection function doesn't download the shows. It's just an inventory of your shows compared to the list known by the server and an update of this list if there is some differences between your local drives and the server. So, it will take a few minutes. During this time, the app is not operative, just let it run until the end of the rebuild.
