The iStripper Discord server was started long before the "OnlyFans/Mastercard debacle" - from memory it started at the same time as the mobile iStripper service. I believe that Totem have long intended to extend its use, should the initial introduction show that it worked well for them (not necessarily the same as working well for us) rather than fix the problems with these forums. In this respect the presence of a large number of non-iStripper members would seem to be an advantage when looked at from Totem's viewpoint.

The intervention of Mastercard may have advanced and extended their plans, but I very much suspect that is all that they did.

You're right - I'd forgotten that. If the objective is to hook in new customers, especially for the mobile service, they really do need some more exciting content, for existing users as well as prospective users, or people will start to disengage.

Yes like putting the top rated models on it! Even if the ratings are considered irrelevant by many, many top rated models/shows are not on the mobile. Off topic I guess, so sorry about that.

I have a bar within walking distance.
I would go there, slump over the bar, drink a beer, eat some food and watch sports.

It changed.

New crowd at the bar. Younger and hip now.
While they are making more money with this new crowd; good for them.

Much like the new bar, I don't feel the need to change to the new message board.

Good for Totem if they make more money, more people, etc.

What's the real advantage of Discord ? I really don't know.
I think all the subjects appearing on Discord could also be shown on this forum.
So I'm not convinced it has an added value.

Since i switched to the new Client Version earlier today the start Page of the Forum
got an revamp since a couple of hours including a new Message on the top right.

The only advantage is for Totem, to have more visibility and attract new customers.

For us, I don't really see an advantage at the moment.

I don't like it when topics become inactive after x time on discord.

Also, nothing is easy.

I had to re-register this morning, in order to be a verified member, because they had changed the Robot.

Fortunately, there was someone who spoke French to help me with the process.

I don't understand the purpose of these robots.

The images posted here that I find most useful are those in the "bugs and fixes" section and in the two threads dedicated to fullscreen scenes. None of those need feature any nudity.

If have to go to discord to follow those threads then I suppose that I will do so, but very reluctantly.

I have given up with it.

Everything I have posted is no longer accessible.

I had the same problem this morning. I had to re-register, following the "how to get verified" procedure explained by @Wyldanimal, to have access to the everything else section and to the sub-sections of the images in everything else. (naked-girls and User-artwork).

As I said, I got help from @Zawan in French, because I found it a bit complicated.

on Discord we were having issues with New Joins Posting Spam in Every Channel.
So to combat that, Non-Verified Members only have access to a very limited number of Channels.

ALL Discord Members need to get Verified.
it's an Automated process by a BOT called Server Captcha Bot.

But, Moderators can also Manually Verify a member.
But that Member has to notify us, that they need help.
unfortunately, we don't have a way to filter, which Members are NOT verified.
We can only see which Members ARE verified.

you were missing the Verified Member role
I just added that role, so you should have full access again.

Here on the forums it is very Similar.
A New Member does not have access to the Forums.
They Can't post on the Forums.
After their 1st card purchase, they become a Bronze Member, and gain access to some of the forum.
After their 10th card they become silver and then after 40 gold, and after 100 Platinum.
at each level they have access to more of the forum..

On Discord, There currently is No Way to Automate, adding the iStripper Level
to a Discord Role.
The Two systems Don't yet talk to one another.

We will get there - where ever there is? A few weeks back I had problems initially getting access, then getting my head around how it works etc. Good point about the forum, at first I hardly bothered with it because not much to see until you have enough cards. The Discord iStripper server is taking shape, some very nice shapes you will like. We can mould it even more over time.

Some Members have concerns about Linking their Cell Phone to Discord.
I can Absolutely tell you, you DO NOT need to link your Cell phone to Discord.
as a general Member you do not need to link your cell phone number with discord.


As a Moderator, we have to use Two Factor Verification of 2FA

You do Install an Authenticator App based on RSA security on your device.
Cell phone, Tablet or Desktop.
I have the Google Authenticator, but there a several different ones you can choose from.

When I sign in to Discord
I present my Discord User e-mail
and my Discord Password
Confirm that I am Human
and then Fill in the Authenticator Code I get from my Cell phone.

My Cell phone is not linked to Discord, Discord doesn't know my Cell phone number.

This is the beginning of the dying forum on Istripper ... Discord is not very intuitive people have a lot of problems Today no one has time to learn how to use a new program to write a comment or create a thread ... Just like gambling causes customers to leave with money to other sites, the same new problematic program instead of the usual forum will cause another approach from Istripper .... It's a pity because some people probably wanted to feel like a member of the Istripper community Now people are deprived of this aspect ... I know soon someone will write that it is not difficult that you can write there and post photos .... And I see that it's not true. Because Discord is chaotic, people have problems with some authentication and confirmation of membership ... So there are still problems And for me, the forum itself, without the possibility of viewing or posting photos, is not enough attractive and I just don't want to use the new program ... Because Discord is chaotic, people have problems with some authentication
and confirmation of membership ... So there are still problems

To move everything from one Platform to another is always combined with complications.
Or with another words, Rome was not built in one day too.

Complications and Problems are in fact only Situations which can be always solved.
I also don't see people strugglin on Discord about these problems at the moment.

And even if someone has a Problem or a Question, now the people and/or the Teammebers
can help in real time, instead of waiting several hours on a static Forum for an Answer.

A moderater can manually verify you if you have a problem. Contact them and let them know.
