Click the gear icon at the top of the iStripper app then check the Advanced Settings box. Then under Desktop make sure Show Duration slider is all the way to the right, All Clips. Let me know if this was the answer to your question. <(^_^)>

How are you playing the cards ? It may simply be that in your settings you have left the "Show Duration" slider at its default rather low value and that every time you play a card it does not play for...

Also check under Display and check the box for Display clips list. That way you can manually start a clip you want. More detailed instructions here.I would suggest trying the tutorial again to get used to the app.
