I just read in the above post made by @Rex that the new codec used in the cards produced that are filmed with the new camera is now not going to be used. It is my understanding from what various experts here have written is that the new codec required the use of version 1.2.2.28 to play the newest made cards.

Now it seems that this new codec will not be used because of some difficulties experienced in post production and by users in general. He stated that post production is reverting back to the older codec.

I can take it then that the latest version of the GUI will not be required to play the newest cards that will be post productioned with the older codec.

However, I wholeheartedly disagree with what @Sexy3DBoy says. It's not the first time that I see someone ***** calm with a lack of energy. Liya is serene, she's very conscious of her great beauty and she knows she doesn't need to move around like a lunatic to get attention. Liya knows what she is and isn't. She is blessed with culturally gorgeous body and face but she is not blessed with flexibility. Moving around on a hard floor, while standing or with a pole is much easier if you have a larger range of motion due to being more flexible. One of our flexible girls can go from standing to the floor, to a doggy position, to an M, and back to standing in a few seconds. This isn't Liya. She instead focuses on sexuality and more hardcore stuff and keeps herself in one position for the duration of a clip. As a dancer she is not "talented", as a seducer she is fine and as a beauty she is a top girl. Rarely is a girl all three anyway.

Did Virtuagirl do away with the "choosing what clips to play and not play for a specific model"?

We recently upgraded production and post production to deliver a better quality to our customer at the same price. We’re now filming models with a new camera in 6K. The entire post production process and hardware had to be changed while we were still releasing cards in the previous quality. We ran into significant difficulties, such as post production output jumping from two hours to 24 hours. Customers reported slowdowns while playing videos using the new codec, which is known for better quality but also more processing time. We decided quickly to keep the new camera and post production process but to go back to the previous codec as the increase in quality was not significant at similar bitrate, plus it is not working on Windows XP. Because all the changes had to be done while we were still releasing one new card every day, some of the new cards had to be released without going through QA, hence some quality issues. Please give us a bit of time to fix all of the issues, colors, transparency, compatibility etc The new camera and post production process will bring you much better images of the girls, we’re working on tuning it properly.

Im having a weird problem with the Istripper application. I just installed it yesterday but it makes my windows act really weird. Everytime I have the program running it screws up my priority of opened programs. It makes other windows go "Always on top" mode, so when i click on a different program on my task bar it will open BEHIND the "always on top" program. It is quite random which program gets this hyperpriority, but it is never Istripper! Also this makes it so, when i have Istripper activated the girl will be behind the "always on top" program.... So i don't see a thing. It's a bit hard to explain this problem so i hope someone understands what my problem is. I never had this before i installed Istripper so it really seems related to the program

However, I somewhat disagree in that I think that higher resolutions do need to be supported as they become more than occassional rarities (so 4k now because such systems are quite common, perhaps 8k in some years time). However, I certainly agree that low end systems should also be supported and should not ***** when higher resolutions are introduced,

I agree, it would be preferable if different versions of the pics were available and either all are downloded with the most suitable used depending of the display device (remembering that a single computer may be connected to screens of different sizes and resolutions) or users could select which should be downloaded just we can with the clips themselves.

But nowadays even 30 inch, let alone 19 inch, can not be regarded as "huge" but there is a very large difference in how a 4k image looks as opposed to a 2k or so image on screens of this size - particularly when viewed from a short distance as a monitor screen rather than from across the room when looking a a TV (though even then I would expect to see a significant improvement with the 4k image)

What is complicated about it. The alternative of using multiple screens is the compliacted option. One 4k screen can replace two, three or four lower res screens - and remember we do not use these screens for "a small application" but for many other purposes. In my case for watching videos, some graphical editing, word processing, web browsing and general software development.

Higher PPI on the smaller screen, than on the Larger Screen.

Switching from 4K down to HD, is a Huge step backwards.
down scaling to 1920w x 1080h does make it look less clear.

On the size of screen I have (which is not huge, about 30 inches diagonally) the difference between 4K and 1920 pixels horizontal resolution is very obvious - particularly for text when I use it as a computer monitor rather than a TV screen. At 1920 pixel horizontal resolution 19 inch or larger screen I can clearly see individual square pixels when using it as a computer monitor and the high spatial frequencies that entailed used to give me a headache which is why I stuck to a 19 inch CRT driven at 1920 or 2500 pixels resolution for many years (the the pixels on such screens have softer edges so there are much lower contributions at high spacial frequencies). I can also get much more on a high res screen, and have it ledgible, than I can on a lower res screen of the same size - reducing the need for a second or third monitor.

I have 4k screen - unfortunately I have, as yet, no computer that is capable of delivering a 4K output. Its not totally ***** because I use it with a blue ray player as well.

Do you know that this kind of resolution is ONLY really efficient for
the huge scale. On this kind of TV set pixels are too close between
them and your two eyes cannot make the difference, it is just a
physical limitation of the nature (as we say In French: Pouvoir
séparateur). 4K has been implemented just to sell more TVs and
give in this way the illusion to have the best in your penthouse.

And to finish: As you know, more you have pixels more it is difficult
to manage them, graphically speaking. And the result is there.
It is crazy we are walking on the head👍
