I don't understand. In your link, page 5, celine says several times that all removed shows are still on the servers and, if bought, can be downloaded again if needed, so no refund will be granted. But since this 2025 statements, each time the matter has been evoked on the forums, I keep seing people giving the opposite answer. Has the company's position changed again since those posts ?

Recently, I bought a new HDD and tested this myself. I backed up my files, tried downloading the removed shows that I already owned, and everything downloaded perfectly from the servers.

how to know which shows I should back up? In my "models" folder every folder has a code instead of name and every fila has similar names. You can;t really know which is which, and I am not going to backup so many files

Also, my models folder is filled with folders, some are empty, some are not - why have so many empty folders? what is tgghe purpose of them?

Also, I hjave two "models" folders, one I made on disk that is not my windows disk, and one that is made by default in APP data. The default one has 5 Gb of files in it - can I just copy paste them in my new models folder (that I connected in program trough option to choose another location)

The ones most needing back-up are those of the removed models, as Mia Sun and Lindsey Olsen.
Some you cannot own since they were gone before you joined.
Go to your collection and click on year 1999 or year 2000.
Make sure no other year is selected and make sure no filter or search is used.
Here, you should see every card you own that has been removed.

Examples of cards and how to find them on your computer:

These are e1015 (Hilary C) and f0913 (Alissa Foxy).
On your computer, in the models folder, you will find these cards by looking at the letter and the numbers.
Manually search for a name starting e (or f), then find e1015 (or f0913).

note: be aware that there are acdef cards, but the above only mentions e and f.
The a and c cards are older and ended late 2014, when the e and f cards began.
The d cards are really old classic cards originally from a long dead website.

note: the above examples are cards that are still in the store.
I show these so you can find them easily, and you own these cards.
the cards removed cannot be linked here, such as the above ones, so I substituted other cards.

note: every card starts with a letter a-f, and has four numerals following, with prefixed zeros where applicable.
Make sure to know which card collection (letter) before looking, because two or more cards can have the exact same number sequence.
The f (and c) cards are explicit; the e (and a) cards not.

I also tried with two shows on my new computer after having learned about the issue when I came back on IS a few months ago, and it worked, but I haven't tested them all. And then I saw celine's posts, so I thought everything was ok.

This is why I don't understand why after that, I keep seeing people, a lot of regular users but also some moderators and team's members, saying that with no backup, you lost everything. And now nans1906 says he can't access his old shows anymore, which add to my lack of understanding. So a clear and consistent answer from the team on this matter would be welcomed.
