What is the best rookie tip for this

TRy to only buy credits when there's 20% off, and as a new user, try to play games that are less than the 25 credits of a card, like scratch tickets.
Than only buy cards that are on 15 or 20% off.
Go into advanced settings and set everything to your liking.
Have it always on, and always have fun!

Watch the tutorials and read the user manual.

Both are available via the (i) Help icon near the top righthand corner of the iStripper Window.

Also read the posts in the "Did you know that..." section of the forum.

Use the above to familiarise yourself with all aspects of the program.
Use playlists to organise your collection.

There are a lot of user created skins that can be downloaded via a dedicated forum thread.
There are even more user created full screen scenes that can be accessed in the same way.

If you are in this program for a while.... $$$$... the games are a way to get discounts on the cards.

in the upper right corner of the window you will see your user name. (above the arrows and featured) here you will see your information. this has stuff that you don't think about too much, but should know.

for new members...
I like the slot machine for two main reasons
the slot machine will give you discounts that can be significant, and it will introduce you to some of the cards/models that you might not know.

Set your previews to push every ten minutes...
In the preview section, you will have a short preview of different models. Periodically, some will be on sale. buy when they are on sale. You can set the preview for other times, but pushing faster, I think, gives you more models and thus, more discounts.

go to the girls store and use the sort tool.
it can seem too much at one time or another, but if you only look at one topic, it might help you choose from 100 cards instead of 5000 cards
