How can I synchronize with another computer/device? (Windows 10 environment)

I have a “master” PC, on which I see, select, and define/refine my library.

I want to have this selection synchronized with my other PC.

Synchronization should be with 4 main mandatory states:
1- Enabled / Disabled status: so then unwanted cards do not invade my screen…
2- Deleted / Downloaded / Not Downloaded cards: very important for monitoring what I have seen, not seen yet, and in reserve…
3- Hidden cards: for marking models/cards that I simply dislike. So then, when wondering if I buy a card or not, an “hidden” card in the lady’s collection tells me that I won’t like more from her, and it is a no deal.
4- Selected/deselected scenes (clips): I saw already a clip, or manually select some, I want to have it reflected in my other devices, so then I can start watching where I left, or simply keep the best clips ticked on.
    • (optional) filters used for “My Collection”: selection comfort.
    • (optional) Position and sizes of clips displayed: cosmetic and viewing comfort.
… so then, after synchronizing, I can see on another device my collection, as a continuity of my viewing.
Of course sync from A to B (or C), means also from B (or C) to A … and vice versa.

I bought a Premium service, expecting it to give this added feature; with a server side config file giving this continuity (even my Firefox browser can do it …).
But no. Premium is only good for the 20% discount. That’s it. Okayish, but far from being satisfactory, as “istripper’s premium” has a very weak meaning…

Then, I tried to do it manually, which is ok with me:
  • by copying from A to B the folder (my data drive and folder)
    \istripper
, i.e. data, jpg, models, mp4, playlists and sub-files. No. No sync.
  • by adding also the folder
    \Users\(me)\AppData\Local\Totem
from A to B. No. No sync.
  • checking the registry and exporting the
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Totem]
branch, with all keys, then – after cleaning the other reg – importing the whole branch. No. No sync.

I was very disappointed with this last step as I noticed, after deleting a file and comparing the old reg with the resulting one, especially for the data in the registry keys
"storeFilters" & "myCollectionFilters"
on which a Notepad++ hex comparison showed discrepancies - hence new data -, was promising. But No. Still No sync. All cold reboots of course done at appropriate times.

Even worst: after injecting the new reg data (after reg cleaning of course), the istripper software indicated deleted cards that I deleted a week ago on this B computer, on which istripper software was uninstalled… meaning that some old data on B still existed (even after having uninstalled via control panel, full reg Totem wiping, and the AppData\Local\Totem and \istripper carefully eliminated.

So then… I am lost. And a bit annoyed to spend time on this matter. No fun.
Now, I even feel reluctant to buy more cards, as I really ***** not to be in control of what I have already, and more cards shall just add to a foreseeable mess.
Especially with many lacks in the istripper rating system (i.e. your own internal rating and flags/categories/inter-clips/screen positions/etc, for organizing with nuances your own collection of what you like, or not).

Do any one is clever enough (not difficult if you compare with me…) for telling me how to do this sync?

Don’t be afraid to be technical, even if my Eng is lower than average, I can still analyze safely within the bounds of an operating system.

(...) So i could guide you through this, unfortunately ... :( you say in your title:Windows 10 environmentSo i'm not sure if my Method which i have tested on my Linux environment will work onWindows the same way.If you still want to know it, then let me know and i will try to explain as best as possible.
Very kind of you.
But let us wait a bit before I ask you to invest time with detailed explanations.

As you use Linux, you are certainly aware that Windows (all of them) is very boring (and I am diplomatic)

Problems can come from one or several cache, the virtual store (a pure shame), another Appdata or Application Data file/folder that I have not traced, and any left-over file left by Istripper after uninstalling. Well ... left by istripper and Windows, as it has never been good with orphan files and cleaning its own mess.

In short, relax and lots of thanks for your reply: I know you know, and let's see if there is a courageous and skilled Windows Wizard who can play Gandalf vs Windows Mordor ... :)

As you use Linux
That is/was the reason why i deleted my previous Comment again because and i'm aware of that
too, Windows is not Linux.

But still i think maybe it shoud work the same way because the Files within the Data Directory are
being fetched from the Servers of Totem.
and let's see if there is a courageous and skilled Windows Wizard
I agree with you and good Luck 👍
