Frankly, it is chaotic, messy, and incoherent.Discord is not forum, it is something else.It is rapidly changing by Discord's own design.We will get use to it, if our heads do not explode first.Something I've noted is there are sometimes 4 or more moderators on 1 thread at same time.Things must shake out, be more controlled, and less splintered.

Don't forget - the moderators are also members so there is no reason why they should not join in with the chat on the thread. Also, as we are in different time zones, we can easily be on a thread/channel/category tackling the same or different matters.

Or are you being ***** because you see a long list of moderators in the member list panel on the right of the Discord screen? All that shows is that all Moderators have access to all channels and that column just shows their status - hence at the moment we can see 5 Moderators listed - but WyldAnimal is idle, I am not to be disturbed, one is the Translator BOT leaving just 2 Moderators who are online ready to respond if needed.

Is Just a List of Who, has Permission, to Access the Channel you are currently in.
It does Not Mean that These Members are In the Same Channel with you at the Same time.

It does not even Mean that the Member is Connected to the iStripper server.
All it means is that This member is Logged On to Discord.
They May be in a Different Server, or just in their Home / DM area.
And, That they have high enough Permission to participate in that Channel.

I prefer the forum here over using discord. I am okay if we can no longer upload or view pictures. The discussion is what is important to me. I can only hope that the corporate heads see that many users prefer the existing forum. And that they continue to make it available to us. Those who prefer iscord can make use of it. I think choice is important.

@mitchell I also prefer this Forum but plan to visit Discord occasionaly
I believe if Totem can off-load most of the 'chit-chat' traffic from their servers, it will leave more bandwidth for the essentials and possibly reduce their overheads

That not a problem with iStripper channel. Its a problem about creating a fresh new account on Discord. When I register on discord, and verify the email. Discord detects something unusual, maybe because I hide my IP behind a proxy (I don't like to share data security info and location on networks). That's probably why Discord asks me for a higher security level (thinking I'm a hacker).

I looked at my main Discord account, and I have no phone number associated with it, just an email address. So, it is indeed possible to have an account without a phone number. But when I created another account for iStripper, it insisted that I use a phone number for verification, just like @smith2 said.

When I tried to create my second account (with a second email address), Discord gave me a message "something went wrong" and made me enter a phone number. I didn't want to do that, so I tried to start over from the beginning with a third account, and then it said that someone already had an account with that (second) email address, so it made me enter my phone number to link my third account with my second email address. Maybe if I had created the third account with a third email address, it would have gone through, but I didn't want to do that either.

TLDR: If you end up down the wrong path, you may have to enter a phone number. I think if you end up on the happy path, you don't need to give a phone number.

Out of the blue my iS channel started working on Discord. My issues had been seen using an existing Discord account and apparently it had a tough time validating. Especially since my avatar there is nothing like mine here. (And to FIX that only requires a $99 yearly Nitro subscription!) I of course now have all the privacy settings maximized.

I can however report that the Totem team have been busy busy bees posting a TON of new content including things that have never been on the regular forum- including live shots from the current photo shoots! (Thanks Lisa!) Those are pretty fabulous.

So while it might be some trouble getting it working (I think having a completely separate account would have been the way to go)- it is worth the effort.

@Bitwrangler what's your name over on Discord? Can't find you. iStripper would prefer using the same name as on the forum. Easier also to find familiar names we have known on here. I remember your glass clips thread especially. I could not resist starting another of Discord.

Well, I think I will bite the bullet and get Nitro, so soon I will be Bitwrangler again! I have not posted there yet.
