You forget that people are not always logical actors. WE are full of addictions, mental illnesses, neuroticism that causes us to become mentally unbalanced and we make decisions that are actually not value based but instead a result of a mental imbalance. You can't say that an addictive gambler gets "value" from their addiction equal to the money spent. This was initially why I was against the special event games because I felt they were exploitative of people who might have money or might not but the game itself took advantage of mental vulnerabilities. This is what lootboxes and gambling does in games and why it is so lucrative relative to normal gaming. Anybody who has played the gambling games, or even the trading cards in dolz knows there are emotional responses that are beyond just enjoying the girls. Just because somebody spends $500 on a card doesn't mean they actually have the money to spend, or it won't ***** somebody else in their life, and the later reflection and consequences might certainly outweigh any "value". You and I know the cards are just normal cards. I still feel uncomfortable with the process because I know some people playing the gambling games can't afford it.

Reverted to 524. 526 is unstable. I figured out how to make it consistently crash. Just do a synch with servers and open the store. That does not crash it in 524.

I am playing 10 shows across two monitors. It does quite nicely in the 64 bit version. In the older 32 bit version I would lag uite a bit and consume way more CPU. The trade off seems to be rthat more virtual memory is consumed now.

I am chalking the weirdness I seen up to Norton .. at the least the slow motion shows. Norton wanted to repair the installation so I would say that is suspicious and can definitely produce a performance lag. I continue to play 10 shows with very good response.

The Team has started to Withold releasing the SEC card to the Store Till AFTER the Events are Over.

1) you can Win the SEC by taking part in the Events.
2) you CAN NOT use a joker to get the SEC till it is released to the store.
So while the Event is running, the only way to get the SEC is to take part in the event.

This adds Incentive for members to take part in the Event if they want the SEC now..
or
They have to wait the 4 or 5 weeks till the event is Over, and then Use a Joker once the SEC is released to the Store.

On 526, has anyone seen all the shows act like they are running in slow motion? Once it does that I stop it and start it again and the shows run fine. Doubtful that i's the mix of shows playing or the PC. Very intermittent. I am sure I seen it with earlire versions as well.

I rebooted and tried clicking on everything that can be clicked on in the right upper corner. Seems to work as expected now.

Weird it no longer closes. I had a couple of weird problems like that today where clicking on things would close the GUI/ No program crash in the event log but the GUI would just close out.

I would agree it lessens the appeal of owning a joker if those playing the games are going to get the show before you. This seems like an odd policy change to me. I guess the point is to get Joker owners to keep playing the games but if the prize is a Joker then what is the point? I guess you could buy older exclusive cards but if you have a Joker you would have already spent in on that exclusive card wanted or already got it while gambling it in pursuit of your Joker.

And I would think that if they were trying to get you to waste more credits on the games they wouldn't release her non exclusive cards while dangling the latest exclusive card.

Seems odd to me but I'm sure it will make sense to someone.

Only have one Sec card, and that was the xmas one as i was getting the other cards anyway, so didn't cost a fortune like they usually do, Dolz are a big nope, so is crypto, great for making money when it started, not great as a current investment.

People will try as they might to get you onto it though, because it's better for them if you do, the more people use it, the more valuable it becomes... too easy to lose.

But you use it at any time - for any card in the store. Its not a restriction on when you can use the joker it is simply that the card you seem to want to exchange it for has not yet been released.

I agree. I can see some reasons for having both sets of controls, but not in the form that it has been implemented where they are simply duplicate controls providing the same functionality. If you change one it also changes the other.

I think that the sliders on the settings page should perhaps provide default settings to be used when the program starts so that they provides the initial positions for the other sliders but are not changed when those other sliders are moved. I would also prefer to see separate volume controls for the full screen and desktop modes, but that's a ***** consideration.

They are treating the joker card that you spent hundreds of credits on like it was some free coupon you got in the mail.
Oh, you can't use it between certain hours or on the weekends. I can understand that because it's a FREE or a cheap coupon. The joker cards are ANYTHING BUT FREE and there making you wait 5 weeks! They keep sinking lower. This is disgusting.

Version 1.2.526 64bit
After quitting and relaunching the app, I go to the store tab. The coming soon page is displayed then the app shuts down by itself. No error message in the log too.
We have a stability issue with this version (I didn't see that in the previous ones).

New version crashed twice whilst trying to purchase todays card.

First time it crashed when I selected purchase the card in the store.

Second time it let me purchase the card but then crashed just after it registered it with the Servers.

Has been running since then (downloaded photos and card). Card appears to play OK.

Don't know if this will help but I use the K-Lite codec pack. Seems to work very well with windows 11. I am 100 sure but it seems to use the LAV video decoder for the H264 videos on this site. I can play the videos directly or download them and play them with no problem.

You play 15 credits, you win 35 credits : 35-15=20 the server gives you the good amount of 20 credits.

Funny but bonus video works fine for me (64 bits) and no problem with music.

Receiving fewer credits from mini game wins than what is being stated.
In games where I win "35" credits I am only receiving 20. Is there a reason why?

This card will be showed in the store on 1st of september, after the end of the august's event. Then, you will be able to purchase it with a Joker card, if you don't win it during the event.

If it is that one then I have no problem with it - it brings up a drop down menu with logout as the last option in that menu just as it has done with the last few versions.

Laptop updated to 526 jut fine. So on the desktp I used "check for updates" but the laptop updated automatically. No problems with either.

The Nostalgia of these collectable cards are worth every penny.

Even without the nostagia factor (I wasn't around for the prior product) I found these cards well worth buying. For the most part the performances and costumes are what I was looking for and which I am now find is largely missing in the more recent cards.

I'm surprised that these cards are even being considered in the total, as they are virtually unwatchable, and the models are minute!

There are bonus Videos and Photosets, that More than make up for the Lower video quality of these Collectable cards.
For the Many Members who owned the Prior Versions of the Product dating back to 1998
The Nostalgia of these collectable cards are worth every penny.

Which is pretty much what I was trying to point out. Neither of us have the data on which to base our opinions - but Totem do have that data so their opinions have a much stronger basis than any of ours.

You said you are concerned about the future viability of the product and gave some reasons for that concern so presumably you had some reason to think that at least one of them had a significant probability of being true (not neccessarily a high probabilty, but not negliable either). My replies highlighted that you had no data on which to base this judgement.

While Totem's are based on their perspective, much more relevant experience, and access to highly relevant data.

For example, if Totem had jumped from having no games at all to their current level then I would be concerned, But that is not what happened, the games and the SECs were introduced gradually, growing as experience with them was gained along with data on how well they were performing. This should vastly decrease any concerns you may have about their viability as a business strategy.

It seems to me that there have been a few who have said that they might be leaving but over the years I have seen many of those actually remain.This effect will can not be seen immediately as the price increase is also not in effect yet. You need a specific period of time after the increase in order to make a reasonable statistic.However, what already is known is, that once people start leaving and go to alternatives, the chances of them comming back are very smal.

You must know that the CEOs of totem are known to use detailed analytics to make decisions. They know what is going on with the customer base and have no problem adapting to the customer base. Just a thought...In America, the peak of the baby boom generation was born in 1956, that puts the peak baby boomer at the age of 67...which happens to be retirement for the entire cohort. I believe this phenomena is happening all over where totem sells the best. This entire mass of relatively healthy people have huge amounts of disposable income and 10-15 years to spend it. I think this group will be totems main income for the next decade. There are also a ton of tech savvy boomers who facilitated the technological revolution and the software, including NFTs are very attractive to this group. Totem can't survive pandering to ***** rearing parents, college kids, and single men just starting careers...of course some customers fall into these categories but there are too many economic pressures. Also, the young generation has grown up with free porn, pirated porn and likely will ***** injustice if they have to pay fair price for erotica.
