I am a long time VirtuaGirl2 user. I understand that the way things work has changed. I have spent several nights browsing through the VGHD website and reading the forum and blogs. I have not found an answer to my questions. I would apprectiate any help I can get.

My current understanding is as follows:
Registration gives access to free shows daily.
Membership gives me is the right to buy any girls full show (full show card).
The website says I will get a bunch of new girls each week.
Will these new girls be the free sample shows only (even if I am a member)?
Will I get free tickets to buy girls in my calendar?
Can I just download the girls in the calendar without paying extra (as part of my membership)?
Will they automatically download if they are in the calendar?
If I have a VGHD membership and do not ever spend any "extra" money will my collection ever catch up like it did in VirtuaGirl2 or do I have to spend money to catch my collections up?

I'm a bit surprised that these questions comes from a platinum member but I will try to answer :)

Registration is free and gives one free trailer per day that stay with you for 14 days. These free trailers are only "No Nudity" shows.

If you by "Membership" mean a paid subscription this gives you one full card per day that's yours forever. It will function as long as you have the software :)

Both registered users and paying subscribers can buy cards using tickets. The price for cards on your calendar is one ticket and all the rest two tickets. If a paying subscriber buy a card from the calendar this card is replaced by a new one at the entrance position of the calendar.

As long as Totem keep releasing 7 new cards each week you will never catch up unless you spend tickets to buy cards.

When it comes to free trailers for subscribers I must honestly say I don't understand how this works... since it doesn't seam to work at the moment :)

There are number of new cards added to the collection of cards each week. The shows will be available as both free trailers and full shows. You will NOT get these cards immediately (unless you have all the existing cards) or are lucky.

There are several ways to get free tickets.
1. When you get a subsciption you get some complementary free tickets.
2. You recommend the software to friends (on different computers/networks)
3. Once at Christmas totem gave everyone a ticket (this might not happen again).

Free tickets are just like any other tickets, you can use them to purchase any cards.

With subscription, you collection gets EVERY girl that moves from your Coming soon to Calendar section. You can choose when to download them when you want or have them downloaded automatically by the software.

Your collection will never catch up. However at $10 per month against $25 per month that is a lot of 'catching up'.

Actually, the jargon they use is a little different than you are using. Here is summary:

There are two major conditions to being a member:

1) Membership is where you simply install VGHD and become a member of this site. By doing so, you get free trailers every day. You only keep 14 trailers at a time with the oldest being replaced with the newest. You don't pay anything unless you want more than free trailers.

2) Subscriber is where you pay for 1, 3, or 6 month subscription as a member. This gives you a full set of shows (single card or outfit) for a girl every day for the term of your subscription. A new subscriber for a given term will receive a designated number of free tickets to spend on girl's shows. The 7 girls (cards) in your weekly "Coming Soon" section of your calendar can be bought for 1 ticket instead of the normal 2.

Both types of memberships allow you to optionally download the shows automatically each day. Both can also buy the girl's full shows via tickets.

Wow... I just realized that you became a user yesterday and already have bought 120 card! Great work ;)

I really hope you are a paying subscriber and hasn't payed 2 tickets each for the cards in your collection.

One more thing: since you seam to catch up pretty fast make sure to save 10-14 cards so you don't end up getting duplicates. The calendar need to be able to fill up in advance. If there is no more cards to give you it will add one you already have.

Totem them selves use the term "membership" for both regular users and subscribers. This makes this so hard to separate. As you probably know I have several times pointed this out to them and asked them to make the distinction clearer. Thanks for bringing this to their attention once more :)

Not to get off topic but I find it noteworthy that MDancer's profile
shows just joined yesterday and already has 120 cards in collection. Maybe this is why so many questions.
Or maybe joined date is incorrect.

Just want to say I mean nothing bad with my comment about being surprised. It's just that it normally takes weeks or months for a person to reach the Platinum level and by then most of the questions you asked have already been asked and answered :)

Thanks guys. I am sure I am not the fastest buyer in the club though. I am a full subscriber. Yes I just joined. I did buy a few 2 ticket girls. I thought I had a pretty good idea of the way everything worked.

VG2 made it very clear that you got 1 or 2 NEW girls to download each week and 1 or 2 re-releases. It meant that as long as I maintained my subscription I would eventually have all the girls. I could also buy up (like I did now) if I liked to have a better starting group. I am not sure how many NEW animations they are actually making each week but if they are making more than 7 then I would be falling further behind each week. I am willing to wait for the rest to come to me as part of my subscription if I am eventually going to catch up. If I am going to have to spend extra money to keep up then I would like to know that now. It might affect the way I add girls.

Am I making sense or am I just totally noobing out?

You are making total sense. :)

Ever since Totem changed to having Monday's as their weekly release date, they have been maintaining the release of about 7 new girl cards per week. I think that they stated that they would try to release about 7-10 cards per week. So far it has been a constant 7.

So if you attain most of the cards, then you can stay caught up by not buying any new girls with your subscription. But as you said, if they release more than the 7 in a week, then you will need to buy tickets to get any additional ones beyond the 7.

Of course that means that if you are behind, then you will need to buy tickets to get additional cards beyond those from the daily ones you get from your subscription.

It was a little hard to understand the transition from getting 1-2 new GIRLS a week (with 5 or so animations (cards) each) to getting 1 new animation (card) a day. Understanding that the new way gives you only 1 of the complete animation (card) set for a girl a day and not 1 GIRL with 5 or so animations (cards) a day. I now realize and understand the difference. They are still making the animations (cards) at about the same speed, we are just getting the animations (cards) daily rather than as a weekly group for 1 girl.

Do you normally save unspent tickets (when you were/are buying up) or do you just spend them all until you have 0?
