Yes, this is true
Pause and Slow are added when one has 100 cards, becoming Platinum.

Pause and Slow will be added to the left click on model.
Pause and Slow will be added to the contextual menu, which is right click on model.
However, after becoming Platinum, one still needs to choose these items, as they are off by default.

When I started with Virtuagirl, 2 $ that were shows were unobtainalbe to me :) TWO DOLLARS :)

Or you can buy 138 newer cards :D and also, some of those girls are no few years, or 5 or 10 or 20 older than as they were on that card, so... if that is a factor, than it is a factor :)
