Scratch game complaints

The scratch game has serious issues: Not only you don't get any SEC after spending 500 credits and very few credits are added, but many of the cards you win are either cheaper if you purchase them directly (720p quality so less than 10 credits) or are even already in your collection.
Seriously, do you expect members to be happy after experiencing this?!

I agree with you arise77. It is a rip-off.
I have been a supporter of Totem since they first launched the original Virtuagirl software, but I have to say that I am very disappointed to see that Totem chose to continue their gambling style mini-games and their so called special event cards. They probably continue with these questionable practices because it makes them money.
The best thing that we can do to counter them is to vote with our wallets. I just boycott all their gambling style activities. Hopefully, more of us will do the same.

@fallen0ne thanks for your support, I've been also a long time member, and have spent thousands of euros here over the years. I hope our feedback will help other members realise how rigged this game is, and will stop people from playing.

@gkar45 we might disagree on terminology, but you got the point.
Here are just the stats:

bought 49 scratch cards
480 credits down
won 100 cred. twice
won 20 cred. 15 times

got 20 cards
8 are 720p quality
3 are 1080p
9 are 3k

That's an average of 24 credits per card. If I had bought these cards individually, that would have been total of around 227 credits.
In addition to that, I count at least 3 that were already in my collection.

Let's suppose most people play this game in order to get a special card. Don't you think that after spending 480 credits, we should at least get one of these cards, or that the other cards we get are discounted?

2 LECs. 93 other cards. 50 are 1080p or higher which is all I use/bother to install anymore.

Was 220 cards worth 2 LECs and 48 other cards? And not even the main card? ***** if I know. But I dont want this card that much to spend more money.

Hi
The scratch card price doesn't take in account your VIP status. For many members, this is very advantageous, even with 720P card.
The gains are calculated so the cards cost cheaper than if you bought them individually but sometimes the odds are not for the benefit of a particular client.

Our goal is to provide you with fun, not frustration. So we'll try to figure out how to adjust the odds to avoid as much as possible the kind of situation you described.

I'll keep you posted.

Have a great weekend guys. Stay safe.

So what you're saying is veteran members shouldn't play these games? OK, got it :(

Hi @kaiju,
thanks for your reply, however you will agree there's not much fun in getting cards you don't particularly want for over double the price (as I explained, spending 480 credits for what is normally 227 credits worth of cards).

How exactly will you adjust the odds for credits we've already spent?

I hope you, the team and everybody stay safe too. Take care.

As a full collection user I spent 1000 credits on 50 scratch cards, got the SEC and won back 740. A loss of 260 credits about covers the free bonus credits I gained from buying the bulk credit offers from awhile ago.

Not saying it was worth it but I got out easy.

@gkar45 yes I kinda got that 😉 was just asking Kaiju how this was supposed to make us feel better.

@goodwolf agreed, I should have read your post this morning. 😄

@imhorny5555 congrats! I'm glad for you.
Totem, why not give the same chances to everyone? If all the players could get the card after a certain amount of scratch cards, I'm sure more people would play and wouldn't mind spending a couple hundred credits on just one card.

I had a feeling, odds were unfavourable in the recent scratch games, and stopped early limiting losses. This time I wanted know more precisely, and decided to play until the first major win, i.e., 100 credits (or more), or a special event card. This happened at draw #47 with 200 credits won.
Here is my personal result:
• 7 wins of 10 credits (I don’t quite understand why because this was not announced. I saw empty circles in these instances.)
• 20 wins of 20 credits
• 0 wins of 100 credits
• 1 win of 200 credits
• 0 wins of two cards
• 0 wins of special cards
Total spent: 940 credits. Total return: 670 credits. Total loss 270 credits or 30% of what I spent. Had I stopped any time earlier, the loss was rather 50%. For 270 credits, I alternatively could have purchased the next 25 cards published given my current customer level. I acknowledge one factor could be bad luck, but with close to 50 draws, I expect my quotes being not too far away from average. So far the experiment.

Now my personal conclusion: I have always liked this company, the product, and the people. I still do, but I consider these quotes fairly unfavourable, especially since true chances are unpublished. In my opinion any such game should be fun for the customer and rather give a bonus than a loss.
I understand the game is probably more attractive for customers with less cards in their collection, but then, couldn’t the company design the games to be attractive for all customers? I would have ideas ))))

I also have a full collection. I bought 10 cards for 200 credits.

The first scratch card, I won the new Stacy Cruz SEC. Over the next 9 Scratch cards I won 5 lots of 20 credits, and 2 lots of 100 credits.

In total I finished up 100 credits, plus the new SEC. This time I was Lucky, the last SEC i was down 300 credits overall before I won. Like any form of gambling, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. If you dont think the odds are in your favour, then don't play.

I do not object, but whereever I can gamble ... lottery, casino, sports bet, the quotes are published or can be calculated. Here they are not.
The only way to find out is playing, or hoping that users are posting their experience.

BTW: according to @kaiju it seems the team is changing odds while the game is ongoing. From my 47 draws, 30 were played in afternoon, and the rest in evening. The evening quotes were better.

@gkar45 I know, I'll get over it. Just venting. 😀 I guess I'm also disappointed because I fell in Totem's trap.

@Mover thanks for your feedback. I try not to ***** too much neither and offer solutions instead. Let's hope Totem is paying attention.

@Lokiwilliam good to see at least some of us could get the card fairly cheap.

Je passe mon tour je suis à jour dans la collectiondonc le jeu ne peux que me faire gagner des carte spéciales mais le pourcentage pour les avoir est trés trés faible voir inexistant.

Well some of you might call me a lucky xxxxxxx
I bought 8 scratch cards
Two 20 credits wins
One 100 credits win
One 2 cards win
Won the SEC
So for 20 credits I got two cards and the SEC

@gkar45 wise decision. I got most SECs during last Black Friday scratch game, odds of getting them seemed to be higher at that time.
When I saw scratch cards were 20 cred each, I thought since they were more expensive odds would probably be higher. Wrong move.
I guess I'll pass future scratch games until we can definitly win something out of it, like a free SEC or joker card after scratching a certain number of cards.

@peterbanker glad for you, enjoy your new SEC, we gave hundreds of credits for you to have it! 😉😄

Believe that today was my lucky day.
Have you heard about the current ***** buying of food and other items in the UK?
I went shopping earlier today and there was no milk and bread in the first shop I tried.
Went into another shop in the same shopping centre and got one of the last loaves of bread but still no milk.
Just after I parked my car in my garage the delivery lorry for the local convenience store went past.
Walked to that shop, waited while it was unloaded and the last pallet off the lorry was milk.

If that is indeed the case, that indeed is a ripoff.

I prefer track and field over rugby.
I prefer beer over wine.
I prefer slot machine over scratchers.

I will spend money on what I choose. I am not sure why there is much discussion. If you don't like it, don't spend money on it.

I do like my beer.

I've gotten to the point where I don't do the games at all! And most of the time, when a model releases a SEC and I can't get it I just stop buying her cards period! If I can't complete the set because of a SEC what's the point of buying anymore?! I save Creds and wait on new models!😈

Unfortunately @etherealspiral, I was like you. I'm embarrassed to say how many credits I blew without ever winning the SEC.
